I ask this quite passionately, I don't want to bore you with the details. It is causing an irreconcilably differences. I remember how it was for her |
Wayne Rooney said: "I'm delighted to sign another deal at United. In the last couple of days, I've talked to the manager and the owners and they've convinced me this is where I belong. I said on Wednesday the manager's a genius and it's his belief and support that have convinced me to stay. "I'm signing a new deal in the absolute belief that the management, coaching staff, board and owners are totally committed to making sure United maintains its proud winning history - which is the reason I joined the club in the first place. "I'm sure the fans over the last week have felt let down by what they've read and seen. But my position was from concern over the future. The fans have been brilliant with me since I arrived and it's up to me through my performances to win them over again." http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=834922&sec=england&cc=3888 |
Rooney's new deal is set to keep him at Old Trafford until at least June 2015 Wayne Rooney has made a shock U-turn and agreed a new five-year contract at Manchester United just days after announcing his intention to leave. Earlier in the week the striker, 24, had said concerns over the club's squad strength were behind his original decision not to sign a new deal. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: "I'm delighted Wayne's agreed to stay." Rooney added: "I've talked to the manager and the owners and they've convinced me this is where I belong." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/9118602.stm More to follow. |

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/8881092.stm World Cup winners Spain and their opponents Netherlands have been fined by Fifa for their players' poor discipline in July's final. Football's governing body fined the Dutch federation £9,080, while the Spanish association must pay £6,053. English referee Howard Webb booked eight Dutch players and sent off defender John Heitinga in a bad tempered final in South Africa. Spain, who won the game 1-0 after extra-time, had five players booked. Dutch midfielder Nigel De Jong was one of the players booked - for a 'Kung Fu' kick on Spain midfielder Xabi Alonso which received world-wide condemnation. 606: DEBATE Have your say on the fine De Jong planted his studs into Alonso's chest, leaving the Real Madrid star needing treatment before he was able to continue playing. The former Liverpool midfielder later called it "one of the worst tackles" he had received. Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff also launched a scathing attack on Netherlands' display in the final, deriding it as "anti-football". "Sadly, they played very dirty," Cruyff told Spanish newspaper El Periodico. "This ugly, vulgar, hard, hermetic, hardly eye-catching, hardly football style, If with this they got satisfaction, fine, but they lost." The match set a record for the most cards received in a World Cup final, beating the six yellows shown when Argentina beat West Germany 3-2 in the 1986 final. The final was also the worst behaved of the 64 matches played in South Africa. |

Thanks Gabry, I appreciate. God bless u real good. This has brought discomfort between both families. |
A friend calls you to be his best man. What are the expectations from the best man and the groom? Pls have in mind that the wedding is in the east and they both reside in Lagos. The best man had told the groom that he had expensive projects that he was set to embark on. And the groom isn't comfortable himself. What is the way forward? No agreement was reached as to who bears the cost. Both clearly had expectations: groom: best man is to cloth and transport himself. While the best man had in mind to cloth himself (suit, shoe, tie, and shirt) and ask the groom for half of transportation. Though not communicated. because he felt they were. To the last 1k the best man paid to cloth himself. Meanwhile the groom got his shoes sent to him from US - brother in-law. Trouble broken out, when like 3wks to the date, the best man called the groom to ask for some assistance due to the said project that he had carried out and was broke. The groom reacted by saying that best man should have known if he wasn’t capable. That all cost should be shouldered by the best man. And that people look for financially capable people as best men. On sunday6/12/2009, he called the best man to cancel the appointment. Question: 1. Was the groom right? 2. Was the best man right? 3. Shouldn’t both have made known their expectations? 4. Is it the duty of the best man to bear all expenses or to help out? |
very important |
Drogba is the real disgrace. Chelsea were unlucky to a poor-poor refereeing decisions after an occasional beauty from Essien. The Blues should have had one penalty at least. Come to think of it Barca's only shot on target. But Barcelona win is a victory for football. |
The self-styled 'Dutchgerian' has also vowed to return to his home country if Super Eagles failed to make the cut to the competition in Mandela's land. To Westerhof, the missing link between the present Super Eagles' team and his 1994 team is discipline. "The coaches, who are supposed to teach the players, are not disciplined as well. So you should not expect anything more from the players. |
In Nigeria, more so in the last thirty years, killing has become a way of life. Depending on the regime in power, killings can either be a past time or a trade. The government and or some elements within the Nigerian State, has been killing those they hate, envy or are tired of. For instance, who blew up dele giwa. When Alfred Rewane was becoming a thorn on their flesh, they silenced him. Three years after Jerry Agbeyegbe was killed, the police have yet to successfully resolve his murder.Who killed Sunday Ugwu, Momoh Lawal, Odunayo Olagbaju and Janet Oladapo? Who killed them? Who killed Ahmed Pategi and his police orderly? And who killed Victor Nwankwo, the younger brother of Arthur Nwankwo? There are several ways to be killed in Nigeria including but not limited to firing squad, parcel-bombing, hanging, tea or food poisoning, armed-robbery style killing, staged vehicular accidents, and deliberate road-side shooting. Sadly, this is the situation in today? Harry Marshall’s death is still unresolved even though the evidence seems to points to the River State government house. Who killed Kudirat Abiola, John Nunu, Funsho Williams, Chimere Ikoku, Ayodeji Daramola, Dele Arojo and Isyaku Muhammad? With the passing of each month the list grows longer and longer and longer. Who killed Udo Marcus Akpan, Ogbonnaya Uche, Theodore Agwatu, and Emily Omope? And who can forget the killing of Abigail and Barnabas Igwe -- the husband and wife team who devoted their lives to the betterment of humanity. And does anyone know who killed Bala Mohammed? Chief Bola Ige stands out as the saddest commentary about Nigeria; and lastly, Abiola. |
