Abatsam111: Last Updated: 13/12/2015. 07:16am Recently there have been a lot of competition and upgrades amongst these networks in both data plans and call tariff plans. First on tariff was Etisalat with Eti easy life 4.0. Then mtn seeing the plan as a threat quickly followed suite. With all this changes, i think its time you stop making calls at exorbitant rates that even my billionaire grand pa will object to lols. I Decided to write this after realising MTN zone plan now selects sims to call which is almost as good as blocked. As at the time of writing this post, below are the cheapest Tariff plans from the four most used networks here in Nigeria. So you can compare and pick out the one which suites your daily budget, business or call habit/pattern.
Cheapest Tariff On Etisalat For Etisalat, the cheapest tariff plan is no other than the newly launched Etisalat Easylife 4.0 package. which comprises of:
==>Calls at 11k/Sec to all network in Nigeria. ==>Calls at 20k/sec to 4 international destinations (UK landlines, US, China, India). ==>₦5 daily access fee which will be deducted once you make your 1st voice call of the day. ==>With this, a minute call will amount to N6.6 only. Subscription Code? Dial *420*1#. After which you dial *244*3# to Confirm/check it.
Update: Mtn has done their worse and increased Truetalk+ call rates to 20k/s so its currently no where near the cheapest call plan. As for MTN, the new MTN Truetalk+ is your best bet. Its an upgrade of the previous MTN Truetalk plan. The plan offers: ==>Calls to all network in Nigeria at 11 kobo per second and 20kobo per secs to UK, USA, India, Canada and China with a daily access fee of N5 once you make your first call of the day. ==>With this, a minute call will amount to N6.6 only.
How To Subscribe To TrueTalk+? ==>dial *123*20#
Cheapest Tariff Plan On Airtel On Airtel, just give it up for the new Airtel SmartTalk plan which more or less offers same rate with Eti easylife 4.0 above. Details include: ==>Calls to all networks in Nigeria at 11 kobo per second (from the very 1st second) with a daily access fee of ₦5 charged once you make your first call of the day. ==>International calls at 20k per second to USA, Canada, China, India and UK Landline. ==>With this, a minute call will amount to N6.6 only.
How To Subscribe To SmartTALK? Just Dial *315# to migrate or send Yes via text to 315
Cheapest Tariff Plan On Glo
After reviewing all the tariff plan by glo, the cheapest still remains Glo Gbam Plus. All with similar call tariff plan of 11K/sec to all networks after a daily access fee of N5. Glo Gbam + (Plus)is Glo latest and cheapest call tariff plan that offers all prepaid Glo subscribers the ability to make calls to all networks at 11K/sec after a daily access fee of N5. And you should note that the N5 is deducted only on days you make chargeable call, therefore you will not be charged the N5 daily access on days that you do not make any call. With the Glo Gbam + (Plus) you can also call 5 international destinations of US, UK, China, India and Canada at a flat rate of 20k/sec and local and international SMS rates are charged at N4 and N10 respectively.
To migrate to Glo Gbam Plus, simply dial *100*6*1# with your Glo line and start enjoying the amazing call rates of 11K/sec to all networks. You should also note that this is quite different from your normal Glo Gbam where you get 5mb daily and N5 daily access is deducted daily with or without you making call. Now with the new Gbam Plus plan, you no longer get the daily 5mb.
Now I believe this is the time where you now make call without minding the network that you are calling and without constantly checking your account balance after every call because it is really getting cheaper by the day.

Sleekyshuga: Attraction can be defined as:
• To pull towards without touching..
• The tendency to attract..
• Something interesting or enjoyable that people wants to see, visit or do..
• Fascination.., etc
Attraction is something experienced by individuals of opposite sex, same sex, political, economic and social groups.. My interest on this topic is on FIRST ATTRACTION.. You meet an individual for the first time, and there is this pull like a magnet that attracts this person to you..
From the views of individuals asked on this topic, I have heard different opinions, even those that sounded weird to me.. The first said, a clean dentition.. The second, facial looks, and the third, height..
Unfortunately, I cannot categorically state what attracts me FIRST to a person.. I was thinking it's a person's sense of humor but that's like a second place since the attraction I am laying emphasis on here has to do with the physical attributes of an individual..
To Nairalanders, what is that FIRST thing that attracts you to a person? Your view(s) are welcomed .. The profile pix behind this moniker is my ideal attraction. Everything is on the average if you know what I mean |

misspicy: His Smell
I so much detest bad smell....if i get close to a person, the first thing i notice is their smell,i don't know if my nose has an extra sensory chip in it but i can smell anything anywhere,no matter how little it is
Infact there have been cases where i regurgitate just from percieving bad odour So my first port of attraction is his smell,
then complexion,i don't find very light skinned guys attractive, they look feminine to me
then his height,I like a tall guy someone above my height |

Gerrard59: For an entry level( which means you have little or no working experience) position
Gerrard59 0801234567. 48, ABC Street, ABC ROAD. Gerrard59@gmail.com. (Depending on the position and industry, you can add your LinkedIn account)
INVESTMENT BANKING ANALYST INTERN Your objectives should be succinct and tailored towards the industry and company you intend applying to. Every vacancy requires a different personal profile even if they are in the same industry. Don't send a CV meant for Zenith Bank to Vetiva Capital Management. Avoid prolixity.
EDUCATION Your tertiary institution should come first. Year of graduation or expected graduation for intern-ship students. Grade obtained. Ensure you include your grade and qualifications. If you made/have a strong 2.1(4.0 and above) include ditto, if you made a high First Class(4.7/5.0). It's your first impression, so impress.
SKILLS/ LEADERSHIP Language skills( bilingual). Computer skills. Leadership positions. Awards and Achievements and any skill you know would be priceless to the firm. Although, if you have a whole lot of them you can make a separate section for it. Be honest as much as possible, better to have one skill than lie about many.
WORK EXPERIENCE
You are an entry level; unless you posses an array of work experiences this should come last. Where you have worked and your tasks and results. Responsibilities assigned to you and the final outcome(s).
Say, for a firm in the hospitality industry: Don't write, I was in charge of receiving guests and making them feel comfortable. Rather, I was responsible for the environmental sanitization of the firm premises which resulted in increased customers' referral, thereby increasing profitability by 4%.
References can be on request. Unless stated, don't include religion, state of origin, relationship status. That's not the HR concern. If age is stated in the vacancy, include your date of birth. Don't write curriculum vitae at the top, everyone knows it's CV you're sending.
Lest I forget, don't shorten words like I did, write them in full. |

aminaadamu: First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
~ Martin Niemöller
This saying is so true for the present stage of dictatorship we find ourselves now.
1) They rubbished Madueke without facts, we were silent.
2). They arrested Dasuki, we shrugged, na dem dem.
3). They shot at unarmed protesters we said it serves them right(why did they burn mosque)
4). They sent a bill to gag freedom of speech and we kept quiet.
5). They held Nnamdi Kanu against court orders, we kept quiet at least he's not my relative.
When they come for you, just remember your silence.
"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends"
~Martin Luther King Jr. thanks for sharing. Food for thought. Evil prevail cos good people are silent |
