They recently started making phones with aluminium bodies/sides. The Galaxy A series all come in a full metal bodies. The Galaxy E series has metal sides, and so does the Galaxy Alpha; although their backs are made out of plastic. And the Galaxy S6 as well as the Galaxy Note 5 also come in metal bodies. So there you have it, problem solved.

S6 and Note 5 backs are made of glass which we can't tell if it's good or bad.

you're right the s5 look so plasticky and wouldn't survive long hard usage but it is power master ! ithe body sucks but the phone outperforms the s6 that has a better build quality and design ..need I mention the s6 has no wireless charging capability, no SD card slot ,no dust or water resistance ,non removable battery etc

Water resistance doesn't catch me sha.

You don't regret that it looks too plasticy and cheap for a high end phone like that? Use it for 3 months more or less and you'll start seeing all those annoying dents, no matter how careful you are; the silver painting must chip off.

Not too much into software but definitely loves the physical looks. The normal, not too sophisticated apps. Budget is btw 70 to 99k.

They (jumia and konga) are both scams. The price changes were not too significant. Only exceptions were outdated items that I am sure they just want to get rid of.

I can tell you there was no discount at all. If you've been visiting jumia website for instance, you'd notice that everything remained the same price today. See what they did, if Galaxy S6 for instance was 100k yesterday, today it's still 100k but they'll write another 180k and draw a line across (cancel) it to make it look as if that's the price and that the supposedly new 100k is the discounted price.

This is the height stupidity and lack of integrity from all those yeye online stores. Don't be surprised that October next year, this idiocy will start flooding every website and then finally another black Friday would reach and the same crâp (that happened today) will happen again.

Hello Nairalanders without beating about the bush,I will hit the bull's eye.off course Airtel offers cheaper data bundles but their network is quite poor but that was before I saw this trick.
we all know that zain.ng has become obsolete and Airtel.ng is the new guy,so follow these simple steps:
*Go to settings click on more
*under more click on mobile networks
*under mobile network click on access point names and click the Airtel sim
*you discover the dot is on zain ng
*change it to Airtel ng or you might as well change the settings on zain ng to the one on Airtel and discover how faster you sim will now rock...

Well, mine is already on Airtel. There's no zain anywhere in my network settings, yet the speed is only 3rd class to my MTN or etisalat.

Meanwhile, Gsmarena reports the availability of sd card.
