Between players playing less cautiously due to lack of fans in the stadium, and every manager wanting to press high and keep their defence on the halfway line, defences will leak goals. Also defences are making too many short passes in defence, leading to mistakes rather than booting the ball to the striker.

I believe that defences would eventually settle. Yes, there has been an abnormal level of goals this season but it's actually a bit common for goals to be bombarded Anthe beginning of the season.

Trump contracting the Coronavirus is the best thing that could have ever happened to the US. In Trump, you have a world leader who has consistently undermined the consequence of the virus, a leader who has politicized the virus so badly such that a lot of his supporters are covid deniars and don't even believe in the concept of mask wearing that will have definitely assuaged the effects of the virus.

He still holds super spreader events out of his selfishness and desperation to win while constantly berating his opponent for being responsible in acknowledging the terrible effects of the virus and constantly mocking his efforts to limit the spread.

One can only hope that now, the trump cultists will get to see that this virus can get to anybody, even the most protected individual.

I hope Trump gets well eventually but I wish it gets worse before it gets better for him because i wouldn't put it past him to still undermine the effects of the virus if he quickly overcomes this. Sometimes experience is the best teacher.

Funny enough, watching the debate highlights, one can actually feel that Biden won the debate because when broken up in segments, you see how Trump is always interrupting Biden and giving no room for discussion.
But still, during the debate itself, Trump supporters will definitely be happy with his performance while the Biden supporters will be frustrated and exasperated.

What Biden supporters will see trumps antics as bullying, many other non affiliated viewers will see it as strength, while Biden supporters will see him as calm and measured, many others will see it as weakness.

I personally think that Biden is a decent man, throughout this campaign period, I am yet to hear any serious damaging scandal about Biden unlike Trump who has soo many, from infidelity to fraudulent business, to obvious nepotism and corruption and to a stanch inability as a leader to foster peace instead of flaming the fires but it has to be pointed out that Biden is a very bad candidate.

It's been long I saw a presidential candidate who couldn't fully enunciate or elucidate his plans. He was quite frankly weak yesterday, yesterday I kept wondering how Obama would easily strike down trump's bullshit. Biden could rarely clap back despite so many potential pitfalls for Trump, Biden rarely put trump on the defense. Biden was reactionary rather than instigative.
His speeches even when uninterrupted were muffled, stifled and slurred.

The obvious truth is that there is a much bigger anti-trump support for Biden than a pro-biden support. Biden does not inspire the fevour within his base like Trump does. Truly if I didn't know how terrible Trump is before yesterday, I would be enamoured by his swagger, pomposity and bragadacio.

I feel this way because i have been on a lot of debate stages and the truth is that most at times the substance of the debate is overshadowed by other things like charisma, projections, confidence, zingers and one-liners and Trump had all of that even though his speeches lacked substance and were deeply entrenched in falsehoods but strictly speaking in terms of debate performance, Trump won handily. Biden was totally thrown off his game and came across as a poor communicator. I just couldn't help but imagine Obama reducing Trump to dust with his bullshits.
Anyways I still think Biden will win. Every normal human has witnessed first hand how terrible a Trump presidency has been but Biden really has to work on his communication skills, he is hardly inspiring his supporters.

Well, these are my take's on the debate.
First of all, kudos to Wallace, I think he did very well in his moderation and trying to make both candidates stick to the rules of the debate. Trump made the debate messy but Wallace did try very well in his moderation.

Secondly, watching the debate, I could see how Trump became the president. It takes a lot of skill to confidently chat bullshit the way he does.
As an avid debater myself from primary school through secondary school, I can say that Trump won this debate, you know why? Many at times, debates like these, especially political debates is not just about the content of your speech but also the charisma, the projection, the mannerisms and the demeanor.
Trump did appear as a bully but psychologically that plays to his advantage because the average watchers who might not yet have an affiliation to any of the candidates or party would have interpreted it as strength of leadership because quite frankly the average viewer is gullible or impressionable.

Thirdly, Trump did come off as the more eloquent of the two while making his points. His speeches were flowing smoothly (again, regardless of its content or veracity) while Biden was sputtering and unsteady in his speeches. Biden allowed Trump to throw him off his game.

I was particularly disappointed with Biden because he seemed not to understand that this was a political debate where you are very much allowed to go on the offensive and clap back when attacked. We all know that Trump has a lot of weakpoints that could be attacked, (for instance, when Trump attacked hunter, a good debater would deny and then clap back with Don Jr's stealing from a children charities or ivanka receiving patents from China or trump's infidelity in marriage or his misogyny seeing as these were the strengths of Biden personally and trump's weaknesses. Biden rarely landed punches.

Anyways, I don't think there are true independents who will be moved by this debate. Trump basically made it a shit show with his constant interruptions but he did get a lot of his points across and Biden didn't really do that much. I think the positive for Biden is that no serious person will believe that Biden is senile or has mental problems although he has come off as a poor communicator but that can be fixed.
