simonjassy:leave the idiot, The cultist dey find fresh victim wey him and im kindred go kill in the name of juju. |
nihilistjnr:Abeg share your source of information, I would like to followup. |
nihilistjnr:That is just it. If people simply researched history, they would be cured of their ignorance. Once you develop a curious mind and seek knowledge about history of people, your perspective on life changes immediately. |
Swissh:Boy, are you damn stupid? |
raumdeuter:You are an idiot. ![]() |
nihilistjnr:Are you not ashamed to be also be called a Nigerian like these brain dead fellows? ![]() |
Expert17:What does being away from Nigeria have to do with not believing in jazz? You that is in Nigeria, why don't you provide a definitive forensic video analysis proving how yahoo plus works. |
Segedinho:So you believe wilder uses jazz? ![]() Guy could you literally be dumber than you sound? If I asked you to provide the video evidence you are talking about now, you would change goal posts. About the ring fiasco, you can't have been the only one to have undergone the jazz experience, there must have been thousands of people, so why can't we see a video, not tales by moonlight. That your ignorant father believed in jazz and passed that belief to you doesn't make it true. |
izzou:your father didn't lie to you. he simply believed in a lie that was told to him from someone else who believed in the same lie from someone else and on and on the cycle of ignorance continues until someone enlightened asks fundamental questions about it and breaks that cycle. |
homesteady:Listen, the truth is that many people do indulge in nasty diabolical acts, not because it works, but because they believe it. For instance, you have people who truly kill other human beings or outrightly turn cannibalistic in the hope and belief of making money. But that they believe it would make them money doesn't make it true!! Nobody can explain the precise pattern via which the money would be made, whether a bag of money would just appear in your room like nollywood would make you believe, or whether magic money would reflect in your account. But the most likely thing that happens is that, if as a business man or a kidnapper or armed robber, you go for the so-called juju, because of the power of the human psych, believing that you are now fully fortified emboldens you to take greater risk in your endeavor which you likely might not have taken otherwise and with greater risk comes higher chances of success. I hope you understand my point. And more so, nobody denies the dangers of voodoo adherents. For instance, in my village, there is indeed a witch Doctor Who was arrested by the police because some people found out he was very potent in making poison which killed people. Now, after investigations they found out there was nothing diabolical about him, rather he had sophisticated means of extracting poison from natural sources like mushrooms, spiders, scorpions and snakes. At first sef, the police were very afraid of arresting him until a bold religious officer did but upon investigation, there was not any proof of diabolical or supernatural acts. The man simply misled other people to go on killing sprees and collect his share of money or goats or farm produce. Ignorance is what let's this practices fester. If you ask for proof of stolen penis, like many claim, you would never see it, despite living in a country where someone is accused of stealing penises_ everyday. |
chic2pimp:Extreme ignorance is a disease. Once the mind is closed and conditioned to think only one way, absorbing knowledge becomes difficult. It's quite painful seeing grown men believe in fairytales so assiduously. |
Segedinho:You are a very stupid_ human being. You are a disgrace to educated folks that is if you were even properly educated. You seem like one of those who schooled in thickest part of forests, that's why you would come online and be stupidly displaying your ignorance. The phone you are using today to type the rubbish you are typing would seem like magic to a 17th century human. It started with a man discovering and proving the existence of an invisible electro magnetic wave, then another building upon that concept to discover silicone electric conduction properties and another discovering the concept of batteries and so on and so fort. All these individual discoveries were published which enabled others to carry out tests and reproduce the results and all discoveries put together to develop the phone and cars you use today. But it is only in Africa when we ask for proof of the so called juju that we begin to hear of "spiritual and physical" world's. You and other ignorant and stupid folks who refuse to step into the 21st century would always hide under the banner of "spiritual mind" to escape explaining any concept you can't explain. Of what good and benefit has the voodoo been to the African society? At least you can see evidence of the white man's magic through the phone and tech you use? Why is it only nasty things we here the African magic is used for? Segendiho, better open your mind and step into the 21st century. Stop being stupid_ ignorant and gullible. If you can't show conclusive evidence for your voodoo, shut your asshole_ you call a mouth and sit down. |
timay:Wow!! Thanks for this education. Didn't know these. |
timay:I completely forgot about Startimes. People were excited when they started but it seems they are going the way of hitv. Anyways do you know if they have a streaming platform like DSTVnow? |
nihilistjnr:Please can you share a liivestream link, DSTV is disappointing. Bundesliga matches are not shown in Nigeria. |
You guys are just talking rubbish. For educated adult men to continue to believe in juju/voodoo is quite ridiculous and embarrassing. All people ask for to believe in voodoo is for people to explain it's process so that it can be subjected to tests, scrutinized and reproduced thus eliminating any doubt and even potentially opening the door for people to see breakthroughs in traditional African science. But when proof is demanded, all we here are excuses and heresay. Yesterday a ring leader of the ogboni society was gunned down with bullets. A society whose cult status is legendary in this region and nobody can explain how he couldn't have seen it or survived the gunshots considering how basic voodoo in our country entails odeshi magic. you are bringing so-called experiences of lawyers but can't fully provide details and more ignorant fellows would swallow it hook line and sinker. There are billions of videos on YouTube, why cant we see one video that fully outlines the processes of voodoo and it's efficacy. N.B. that many people believe in something doesn't mean it is right. |
Nice effort. O.P. |
Ibime, that was a wonderful story. Please where is the source, I would love a followup. |
TiAd:True sha. But when the repetitive arguments just drag on and on and you know that it would only end in deadlock and resurface again later. The thing dey quite tiring. |
pkasso: Na so the man for just die like that. People really need to be careful with taking all this aboki drugs. |
The reason I usually don't engage in the who is the better player comparisons/arguments is because both players being compared are usually very good players and the people arguing present personal opinions to undermine the opponents good player of which there isn't a mutually accepted judge so after the numerous back and forth, nobody accepts the others opinions and it just abruptly ends only for it to resume much later. so tiring. |
Foolish blogger. |
simonjassy:So far as he won the trophy any which way, Messi hasn't and that will always count against him. |
randomperson:the fact that Messi hasn't won an international trophy will always hunt him. You can't be labelled as the best if you have nothing to show for your country, much less a very prestigious one like Argentina. |
Victornezzar:This is very ridiculous and quite humorous. You speak as if you don't live in this country. There is literally no public transportation that you enter where religion is literally not shoved in your face. You are bombarded with threats of hell if you don't abide by the Bible's teaching. I have watched a fight happen between Christian and a Moslem when an Imam decided to also preach in the bus. We now have mobile pastorprenuers who pray and ask for donations in every commercial transport buses. Will you say these people respect others opinions? I have severally stood up to these preachers and I know the scorn I faced from other passengers when I attempt to question their begging for alms. Ordinary online debate is an insult to you, how do you think the non religious feel when they have to face discrimination constantly? |
gensteejay:Indeed. The point that started all these arguments are simple. Religion and tribalism are 2 of the major problems we have in this country. I am not talking about politics right now. I mean the social interactions and structures between the common masses is centered around these two problems. I rest my case here. |
izzou:At the bolded. It's tricky to say let everyone respect everyone's choice when the non religious are obviously backed against the wall. We live in a country that is supposed to be secular yet every single form requires you to fill in your religion and tribe. Those details determine whether you will be admitted into an institution or employed in both government and private firms. There is a deep rooted institutionalized religious bigotry and tribalism that is glaring for everyone to see. And when people point out the problem you say "let it be". How do you then solve the problem if you can't talk about it. America battled institutionalized racism for a long time because people who complained were silenced. A restaurant owner in Alabama would tell you he has the constitutional right to decide not to serve a black man. A bar owner would tell you, it should be his decision which race he could serve, that it is his right make his bar an only white bar same with taxi drivers. This situation is not so different from some private schools that reject Muslim students from being admitted. Or private companies that turn down applicants on the basis that the persons religious beliefs clashes with the owners. It's not right. You have been trying to make it sound like the atheist here are bullying others into submission when the reverse is the case all over our country. I mean how can you justify killing a man for opposing your beliefs and still say respect opinions, meanwhile when the president does that, you rail against dictatorship. Where do you stand? |
An atheist criticized Allah and is being persecuted for that and the "moderate" citizens support this. ![]() You can see how the Hausa Moslem points out the Yoruba Moslem as a fake Moslem because she proffers a logical humanist point of view. Until we dump religion and tribalism, we can't move forward together. |
A perfect illustration of the points made here.
