I didn't want to chop anyone's head off, I pointed out the things he could have done better for us to win the scummies, anyways that one don pass.
This team is playing very well at the moment and I'm excited about that.

My only hope is for us to start winning the big teams and scale through the festive fixtures successfully. But at the moment, this team looks very promising, individual performances have really been enhanced and I commend Lampard.

It's called daylight savings time. From the end of October to the beginning of March every year, all European countries move the clock forward because during this period, you have shorter days and longer nights o vice-versa.

I don't think he's being unjustly condemned, when you see all the long distance shot kepa has conceded since last year, you would know that he has a fundamental problem.
His height and body frame does not help him at all, even if he works on his bad positioning and poor alacrity, he can't improve those two.

Abraham is looking like one of those strikers that would require 10 chances to score one. Chelsea are creating lots of chances and scoring few of them. I think Abraham would feature in the list of wasteful strikers.

As for Kepa, we need begin look for replacements. His save percentage is too low for a goalie in an elite club.
A top keeper is supposed to help his defense frequently but with kepa, once you bypass Chelsea defense, na sure goal be dat.

As I've said before, Kepa is too small for a keeper, most of our set piece problems comes from his lack of alacrity and small height.

Many keepers come out and catch the ball or punch the ball out during a set piece, but that's very difficult for him to do, hence always relying on the defence to clear the ball which is very dangerous since they can score from loose balls and rebounds. Case in point our 2nd and 4th goal conceded yesterday.

We need to find a new keeper which is quite painful considering kepa's price tag.

We all expected a below par team but d team on ground now is fighting a good fight.

There was no need for this, my post was not a criticism but rather a reinforcement of my notion that this team wasn't ready yet to challenge at the top. While we did good with our comeback, the fact that we were down 4-1 at our home indicates we're quite a distance from competing at the highest level. I only brought this up again because few weeks back a Chelsea fan asked this question below?

This is what I was warning against few days ago, our current form might make people lose sight of the teams deficiencies and start setting a high standard for this team only to become massively dissapointed if and when a slump begins.

While the team looks good, people are forgetting Ajax is the only big team we've won and also our defense isn't solid enough yet to mount a serious challenge.

As for me, I just take every result as I see it while being very happy with team developments.

I agree with you both that the teams mentality yesterday was good, but there's nothing wrong in speaking objectively. While we are making progress and growing, The team is not ready yet to challenge for the top.

Concerning the transfers, That was for the January transfer window, however, I do agree with Ibime's stance that lifting the ban by January will enable us make deals meant for the summer easier and earlier.

I am of the opinion that the transfer ban should be lifted...
because I feel we need some new quality players in defence and attack.. a CB and a CF would be nice, an LB too, but then again it's January transfer window.

I disagree, this team is showing a lot of intent at the moment. The Midfield is stocked and loaded, our attackers are performing and posting good numbers and I believe the defenders should be given ample time to stabilize.

Bringing in players by January would interrupt the chemistry being formed between the players at the moment, don't you think?

As I've said before, it's a good thing we are winning the small teams and I'm happy about it.
My focus has been primarily on the style of our play and the development of personnel and that is where Lampard is excelling tremendously.
Every player is brimming with confidence and it's a joy to behold.

However, it must be said that the defense is a huge cause of concern, we have lost our leads severally this season and that nearly happened again yesterday. I'm noticing a trend of overconfidence in front of our goal post, these defenders need to start clearing the ball away especially in the late stages of the game, not gifting opponents free chances.

Also, we can only truly judge where we are as a team by our results against the top teams, while winning the small teams is good for team morale, winning the big teams will indicate our readiness for the big stages. We are yet to win big teams at the moment and that's a concern.

Anyways, so far so good, this team fills one with hope and I hope we beat Ajax on Tuesday so we know we have one foot into the round of 16.
