emiye: You see why i said you are daft, if i used N140 litre of diesel to operate/run my generator and i now use N35 natural gas to operate it. is that not a substantial reduction in operational cost?do u buy gas when u use solar panels or wind or hydro power? maggaristic |
emiye: Look in to the mirror and you will see a daft creature.ode! name one gas plant located in the north. The project is going to be either hydro-powered or from wind turbines. magga |
kolexy: You see looting, but what we see is good governance like we ve not seen since the UPN days. You are blind an cannot see but are only led to believe that you are seeing. Wake up! |
emiye: With the boldened, thank you for educating those miscreants. It was the operating cost and not the total installation cost! You keep lowering the bar on yourself! Jeezus are u this daft? Even at that , why will your so-called progressive LASG opt for a less economically viable daily operating cost technology? |
OsunOriginal: That was how they started Boko Haram in the north - it is either CAN is founding BH or they forced the radical elements in islam into terrorism by all this noise and shameless show of hatred for other peoples who dont belief in the trash they call religion. And to make matter worse, the people they are showing hatred toward are the owners of the land - the host communities.Yes. Thank you for proving to me that fundamental islam exists in the SW and Osun is the new mecca south of the Niger River. |
BayoAA: Kindly state which non-fossil fuel this plant will be running on. Man quit your fantasy world and come to reality. Is it gonna run on ethanol or is it a solar plant, is it geothermal which is not available in bauchi or wind? And turbines can be made to turn either by wind ( ever heard of wind turbines), water (how about hydro-turbines). Do you think Bauchi state government will be f00lish as your LASG to start a non-sustainable and highly gas dependent energy plant? Do you think they have the money to waste in constructing a gas pipeline from the Niger-Delta to power a medium scale power plant? Ask yourself if there are any fossil powered energy plants located in the north. The answer is no. They are mainly hydro-powered stations. In the past Bauchi state government was looking into the possibility of harnessing wind energy along the hilly areas of the state in which case wind turbines would have been deployed. |
jazzydee: yep ur r on point, i have decided to ignore the whining of the fool agbameta, gwabe and other Apc goons on this matter as they have no substantive facts to contribute to the debate.Gbawe, Agbameta nd Eko ile are one and the same person. His masters are not aware of the counterproductive outputs his thread has caused them and their party. I can say that this same "posters" made me get off the fence as regards Nigerian Politics and realize that Tinibu and his lackeys governing the SW are by far the worst thing to happen to Nigeria and Nigerians. Lagosians are to busy trying to eke out a living to pay serious attention to the magnitude of fraud and insensitive policies coming from Alausa. But, then again, it is not my problem. I have left that wretched city for good and will only be in Lagos to sell of my late Dad's properties. |
agbameta: https://www.lagosstateministryofhealth.com/pikshurr/programmes/images/201003291269870196_e%20health.jpgCommissioner for e-information |
jazzydee:Their morning go soon break. Guy, just ignore them. We all know they get paid a stipend plus weekly data bundle and a laptop to do glorify their thieving masters here. |
agbameta: When you question something, you give sane and rational reasons with documented facts to justify your concerns and questions, not the other way around because I'm not the one doing the questioning and barking like bingo. The burden is on your clowns to show us with facts and data why you are against this project or think it cost too much? So far, it's just your ignorant mouths yapping like bingo.Oh my, you are one sick little puppy |
A-ZeD:Well I wont blame you. As I said the power plant will be dependent on an energy source in the form of LNG which without it won't be functional. The LASG ascribed the reason for building this power plant mainly to service the Alausa secretatariat and adjourning street lights which will replace reliance on epileptic power supply from PHCN and the numerous backup diesel generators. So what you have in essence is actually a big generator for Alausa alone! |
abes: That's what you and you co-travelers want us to believe, if a bottle of coke is N100, then a crate of coke must be N2400Let me educate you... The Bauchi power plant will be running on some sort of non-fossil or renewable energy source which naturally cost more than fossil powered plants to commission but cheaper to operate in the long run. There is no logic or reason that will allow for a smaller capacity gas power plant which is co-located within the vicinity it is expected to service to be much expensive to build than a renewable or non-fossil power plant which has a larger capacity and is meant to serve not only the local grid but supply as much as 60% of it's total optimum output to the National grid. |
agbameta: I've told your stupid ass to show us what similar projects cost in the same environment with cost breakdown. All your barking is for the dogs and ignorant types like you..The burden of proof otherwise lies on you. You are meant to defend the high cost of this project and not those criticizing it. Kapeesh? |
jazzydee: in deed can you imagine anyone trying to defend this glaring fraud by gov fashola, 400million naira per MW of electricity! This is the height of blind partisan politics stemming from tribal and religious leanings. You cannot get any meaningful logical or moral response or answer from these APC guys. When they see their arguments have been repudiated totally, they begin their petty name calling and start slinging insults every where. Just check out Mr. Gbawe; a fine specimen of APC baboonism on full display. And the funny thing is that if you oppose them they assume that you are getting paid from Abuja while it is evidently clear that the vast majority of e-propaganda here are by APC governors in the SW and they (e-touts) get paid to ensure the threads are up and running. To be honest, their attitude here on NL has driven me to the conclusion that ACN now APC is the biggest fraud in Nigeria today. |
A-ZeD:When did I ever put a figure to any thing on this thread? It won't hurt you to at least go through the thread, let it ruminate in your skull for a while then make a meaningful response post without looking for some one to argue f00lishly with you |
jazzydee: Why are the apc sycophants defending the indefensible? Who in his right mind will support the looting of 3.2 billion naira in the name of supplying a 10MW of electricity generator to a state, bearing in mind that that same generator will still incur other cost such as gas bills, maintenance cost and administrative cost for effective running, hence adding to the already over inflated cost per unit MW.These APC goons on NL are as disillusioned as their Boko cousins up north |
A-ZeD:You are the typical epitomy of ignorance personified. Will it hurt your head to do your own reserch? Who is your errand boy here? Mr. Gucci Analogist |
Dewze: still, put the figures in Naira. so that the majority of Nigerians, who are not as ''clever'' as you are can at least get a fair grasp of what u guys are really spending.how can u blame him... if not for oil pricing in dollars will he ever comprehend what dollar is in the first place |
A-ZeD:you really need to sit down by the side |
A-ZeD:google the latest power project scam by LASG in conjunction with Oando and then compare with what Bauchi state government is proposing and budgeting for. p.s. there is a thread here on NL that was started by one of the APC etouts to glorify their masters on their latest scam power project but it backfired |
.
|
Aedes_muskeeto: SMH, NLanders and double standard..let them have all the oil in the world if that is what will let them be on their own. |
Standing5: You re tryin so hard to difuse the argument of economy of scale because u know it has shattered all the lies you and your kikes av been peddling here. In the first thread, i posted good links where the effect of Economy of scale on gas fired turbine power plant was confirmed so i wonder why you want an obviously right argument dropped. Plus i don't see anywhere in all the articles posted where they say the task of delivering fuel to the plant is included in the deal.
|
emiye: While you stay ignorant, i am off to see the Super Eagles in actionRadical this one don sheck out again ![]()
|
emiye: If a 5km gas pipeline will be laid?, will the cost be the same for 20 km gas pipeline ?then what are you saying that it cost just as much to lay a 5km pipeline as it would a 20km pipeline? Now this was your original argument and it did not fly until you introduce pipeline construction into the overall project cost. Sticking with the original post, you will see that Bauchi state government is also including a grid network that will supply both the state grid and the National grid. Is the Oando scam project accomodating a grid network as well? And mind you, constructing a power grid network or adding the station in Bauchi to both the National and local grid will be far more expensive in attaining in Bauchi since all the materials needed for this alongside the power plant itself has to be imported from China by sea , trucked in land to Bauchi and assembled on location. So how can you explain why the Bauchi project with a higher capacity output located inland will cost less? |
emiye: You can ask google, if you want to know where gaslink facility is located in Lagos, i should not be teaching you how to find that out.The burden of proof is on you and not me, so kindly educate me where this pipeline is going to pass through. |
Rad1cal: Bros, I want to believe that your factoring in the gas pipeline construction means you have dropped the weak excuse of economics of scale.Well deserved Drum roll
|
emiye: I was simply explaining to you how the gas supply system works.Where is this gas link facility located in Lagos? I believe it most be located some where around a water front in order to have access to LNG tankers. That being said, how cost effective and safe will it be to pipe highly condensed and volatile gas from one end of Lagos to the other bearing in mind the high population density and urbanized nature of Lagos. The truth be said there is no gas pipeline and you and I know it. Oando will be making monthly supplies of LNG via truck haulage. Period! |
which one be kissable? Phuckable is more appropriate |
emiye: Gaslink a subsidiary of Oando plc is the gas supplier, and a pipeline will be laid from the plant location to the Gaslink facility. So the gas pipeline is not even in place and the project is already being commissioned? Will that not lead to another contract review or re-awarding in the next fiscal year? And also will the power plant remain idle until the gas pipe line is up and running? In the interim I forsee gas trucks supplying the plant. |
Muslim Countries all fall under the worst places to live as well
|
emiye: Dont expose your foolishness, Natural gas will not be supplied by truck haulage to the plantso how will they supply the gas to alausa? I know of only the Egbin Power station that is supplied by NGC pipeline and this project is not in partnership with NGC but Oando? And stop insulting me |
