I saw someone mentioned Obinze! Well, the response wasn't clear and it does have a meaning. Obi = is like a special place (parlour or lounge) and Nze is a highly revered person who upholds truth, justice and spirituality. An Nze's obi is a sort of holy place or sanctuary.

While we are transitioning into modern/Christian Igbo names, let us not forget the original names that are meaningful, historic and could help us connect our lineage.

India Embassy (High Commission) is treating Nigerians poorly. What could be reason because Nigeria is better than India. They are asking for Yellow Fever and Polio Vaccination. It's sad that Nigerians are facing such disrespect because our government refuse to maximize our resources for the good of majority.

Documents Requirement
1. Visa application form duly filled on line and signed. Form should be signed in the box
under the photograph on page 1 and at the end of page 2. Your signatures should
match with the signature printed on your passport.
2. Original passport valid for a minimum of 6 months
3. A photocopy of the data page of the passport
4. Old passport, if any
5. Two recent photographs of the size of 50mm X 50mm i.e. 2 inch x 2 inch with light
background. Photos should be glued on your forms in the box provided.
6. Invite from the Indian host with contact details and scanned copy of PAN/Aadhar card
to be mailed to visa.lagos@mea.gov.in and cons.lagos@mea.gov.in with copy to the
applicant. Applicant is to attach a printout of the invitation and the email with the visa
application form.
7. Travel and Hotel Bookings (Detailed itinerary of places to be visited in India)
8. Bank Statement for last six months
9. Introduction letter / Local profile of the applicant as applicable (Letter from employer,
professional documents, businessman to attach basic business documents)
10. Any address proof (Nigerian national ID or Driver’s License/Voter Card/NIN)

It's not true , it's a fallacy.
For U.S embassy to reduce it's staffs is going to be a complex process and it must have diplomatic repercussions. Besides, the number of staffs is determined by the U.S government.

** Nigeria is the most populous black country in the world. We need more staffs . They cannot reduce staffs. 👍

How do you just determine it's not true and a fallacy. There is some truth to it. DoGE has been cutting down staff and agencies to reduce cost and embassies & consulates included. It could be one of the challenges at the Lagos consulate.

Antonio Rubio and D. Trump do not care about repercussions. They are focused on America first and don't care if it takes non-Americans a year to get visa infact they will like you not to come.

USAID and VOA staff are currently unemployed. So, do not cancel an opinion when you are not 100% sure.

Hi guys, I am just providing an update on my visa to give hope to those who are still waiting. I submitted my passport for renewal on the 3rd of April and here is my timeline.

Submitted: April 3rd
App received: April 8th
Refused status: April 22nd
Administrative processing: May 6th
Approved: May 6th (no interview, I was praying to God everyday to change my refused to approved and he Delivered!!)
Issued: May 7th
Current status: Waiting for pick up mail

Overall, it took a little over a month to get here and I am sharing so those of you still waiting can have an idea of the current timeline for IW. Keep your faith and keep praying and It will surely come out!

I, my wife and son are going on a visiting visa to Canada
we paid for the application fee plus biometrics for my wife and i which summed up to 470 cad

My wife's Biometrics letter came out instantly and proceeded for capture

mine hasnt come out till this moment , when i raised a web form about my biometrics letter , i got a mail that i have to pay for my application fee and biometrics and upload reciept to my profile . Rememeber i have already paid 470 cad which is the sum total of application fee and biometrics for us.

Umuahia NIS Passport Office is a crime den. Do not trust Immigration Officers especially at Umuahia Passport Office along Ubakala Road in Abia State. They extort citizens coming to make or renew their passports and yet they wickedly hold onto it for several months. I am surprised that the shameless people in Immigration uniform are not ashamed of collecting bribes in daylight. It goes to tell you the rot in this country.

Their oga PCO Tobi is a very corrupt man. All the bribes go to him before they issue people passports, if you don't pay he won't approve your passport because no money was returned to him. Before he took over as the Passport Control Officer at Umuahia, that NIS office had good reputation. This Mr. Tobi should be removed and prosecuted. He is one of the few bad eggs in this country.

Those who have parents or family members that are rogue immigration officers should be weary. The money they extort from citizens would being curse upon them. If you make people cry and speak words against you then that is a curse upon your life except you repent and change.

All those extorting money from Nigerians shall never know peace. As the collect those money from innocent and poor people to enrich themselves, they will never know peace and their wealth would evaporate mysteriously.

Google has invited about 200 Local Guides to visit its headquarters in California. Nine of the invitees are Nigerians and will be flying the flag in Silicon Valley.
