Portable is a clown...a man you insulted last year !!!! Now, you are complaining of the economy!!! Obi is no longer a boy !!! ![]() |
Stupid prayer for stupid leaders in a stupid country. A.waste of prayer ? |
Gboom:You are really not serious with your life. Supporting Tinubu while you keep suffering. Zombie follow follow.... |
Validated:You no get joy 😁 😁 |
Stupid post....is he the one playing the football. |
Naira is gone for good. For long CBN, Western Union, Money gram and the Nigerian banks kept giving our families money at the official rates and seized our hard earned dollars without thinking of the long term impact. Now we in the diaspora have decided to supplant them completely by using peer to peer and apps. CBN will not see one dollar from us. Nigerian policy makers are foolish and don't think long term. That is how the capital market was destroyed and no business can raise any serious money from it. Nigeria era is over! Tinubu cannot defend it. They have run out of lenders.. |
donmaxman:To even burst your head, I know a lot of engineers that left Canada and are collecting bastard money in the middle east without paying taxes. I can bet you that with your naija passport those companies will not touch you with a foot long pool but an international passport changes everything. Nigeria is only good if you are a politician, oil company employee, clergy or bigtime business mogul. The painful thing about Nigeria is that we do not even value local experience. By default, a foreigner will earn more than you for doing the same job role. Nigeria companies and government value foreigners more than their own citizens. In fact the cheating is too much, I have not even added quota system and discrimination. I saw this life for several years and wondered what the future held for my children. Nigeria is a thinking time bomb waiting to explode. |
xandy84:Bro you do not know what you are saying. I have the benefit of working in Nigeria for 14 years and rising to a mid level manager in a telecommunications company. My wife was a branch Manager of a commercial bank before we migrated. It was the best decision ever. Stop misleading people! You cannot be more Nigerian than I am. Nigeria will destroy and kill you. You guys complain about overseas but you never talk about the benefits. Do you know most companies here give you stock options and match you your contributions allowing you grow your assets as you work. Govt in Canada contribute 25 percent to your child's university education asides from getting you to save proactively in trust funds. Your retirement pensions from Canada can take care of you very well in any third world country. Canada allows you bring your siblings and family under the provincial nomination route. You get free health care for life!!! Do you know what this means. I had a friend who thought he was rich in Nigeria until he fell ill and spent all his money on getting a cure. Guess what he died afterwards from depression because he realized he had to start life from the scratch. You fall ill here in a developed country and your least problem is money. Professional development nko,Canada has made me read and grow my skills like mad. I spent at least 4 hours everyday developing myself because there is incentive to do so! Nigerian work will make you useless. Politics, asslicking, nepotism and loyalty determines your pay rise and promotion . Canada made me realize my life is in my hand and not my 'oga's' hand. I can fire my company anytime. I can do two jobs if I like. I can make extra money when I want. My brother forget Nigeria!! My worst regret is having anything to do with that stupid currency called Naira that will soon turn to Zimbabwe money. Are you aware the Tinubu has printed additional 3 trillion naira via ways and means since took over power? Can you genuinely store your future in that currency? Crude oil is losing value and that is what Nigeria is hoping to revive its economy with! Tell people the truth! |
My advice to you is to japa to Canada if possible. Several years ago in Nigeria precisely 2015, I was earning about 750k per month and I still left. People told me it was a bad decision then but now I thank God I made the decision as most friends that criticized me then have come to their senses and are surprised I had the foresight then. The exchange rate then, was I CAD to 150 ngn. Today it is 1 CAD to 920 NGN. First, building you assets in Naira is risky as one insane CBN governor can easily print so much local currency and devalue the currency making your hard working years and saving completely worthless. I invested heavily in Nigerian stocks, houses, bonds and they are worthless today if I convert it. My house in Nigeria can barely fetch me 15000 dollars if I put it up for sale. If I had taken the same action in a proper working economy I would have become a millionaire in dollars. People ruined Nigerian banks and mismanaged shareholders fund and they are not in jail. People will eat your pension funds and nothing will.happen. Nigeria is a no go for any smart young man with vision. I have a foreign passport, access to a world class healthcare. I know how much assets I have built abroad since I left Nigeria. I look at my years in Nigeria as the locust years of my life. There is no accountability in Nigeria. 200k is less than 200 dollars |

Newbiein2016:Thanks , i am the one who invited my Dad from Canada and handled everything about his application online . The courier option will not work for the village address. I am just trying to see if there is any one's contact in VFS Lagos i can reach to at least keep his passport till he returns back from the village. Thanks everyone. |
Morning Everyone, My Dad was issued a Canadian visit visa yesterday but would not be able to go to VFS Global Lagos until January third week to pick up his passport . He is engaged with multiple commitments in the village now. He mentioned they asked him to come and pick up the visa within 7 days or else the passport would be returned after 30 days. Please is there anyone or number at VFS global i can contact to ask them to hold his passport till Janaury 3rd week ? I would appreciate. I have tried scheduling visa pick up appointment but i noticed i can only schedule for Biometric or Passport Request submission. Thanks to everyone that can advice ? |
Tinubu is plundering Nigeria wealth and asking you to tighten your belt. This is the wastage Obi was talking about. The very same forex the country managed to get is what been wasted on this fruitless while our hospitals, schools and roads are in ruins. Who. bewitched this APC supporters? |
Hoarding Dollars. by donmaxman: 6:51am You know nothing about exchange rate. This will not stand the test of time. Imagine borrowing 10 billion dollars to salvage the naira. What happens after the money finishes? The debt would have to be paid back with interest in dollars. The only sustainable way to grow the naira value is by production and not by voodo economics or by foreign direct inflow. FDI is almost zero for now. No investor takes Nigeria serious anymore. The currency is unpredictable. The diaspora remittances that use to come through western union and money gram and prop up the naira has dried up because the Nigerian banks were taking our dollars and giving our family naira at CBN fixed route. Now no one routes money through that means instead foreign apps collect the forex and credit your naira account from their Nigerian account at the black rates shutting out CBN and making Nigeria lose completely. Emfiele realized this and tried to attract the diaspora earnings but the damage and trust has been broken forever and this heavily impacted on the naira value. Nigeria will have to fork out more dollars in the future to pay the 51 billion dollars foreign debt. Don't be fooled by this gimmick, the foreign reserves have been depleted. Crude oil earnings have depleted. Nigeria is competing in the same market with the USA and Canada to sell crude. Most of us in the diaspora are thinking of selling off our investment in Nigeria and repatriating the funds to safer clime because we know your naira is useless. Imagine a former president printing 72 trillion naira without national assembly approval and without consequences . Can you invest in that kind of country? Bro forget naira is almost toilet paper or monopoly money. No body that is wise stores his wealth in naira. Pressure for forex is far more than the income. My only regret was even having some of pension and assets in naira. Forget Naira!!! |

Tinubu is nepotism personified. Nigeria under him will be worst than under Buhari. He has brought ethnicity to a high level and Nigeria may collapse under him. Tough times never last. He will go down as the most useless leader in NIGERIA after Buhari. Buhari set Nigeria several years backwards....Tinubu and APC will set Nigeria decades backward. Nano country has down well without fairness and justice. He will definitely need support to get his second term and we will pay him back with our own coin. Naira is now over a 1000 to a dollar and he is increasing the size of his cabinet. Tinubu will be a big failure in all ramifications. |
Supported with Nkwobi |
Boko haram Nepotism Bandits Ruga Corruption Favourtism Crass incompetence Religious Bigot Weak leadership Selfishly aloof Deception Ethnic bigot |
Mark my words ... Tinubu's regime will be a colossal failure. This is not the kind of rhetoric's we need now. Nigeria as a country is dead and buried. All hope in that shitty country is gone. |
It is quite unfortunate that people would be celebrating the disenfranchisement of people just because the result does not seem to favor them or their tribe. The beauty of democracy is that it is only way to hold our leaders accountable all over the world and keep them on their toes. Why bother even holding an election if the thugs will come and disrupt the whole process? I am now well convinced that Nigeria will remain a shit hole for a long time. As a Nigerian Canadian, I am completely ashamed of my country of origin if some people reason like this and even feel proud about it. Nigeria is bleeding profusely right now; the middle class and experienced professional are leaving in droves irrespective of the tribe and people like the OP are not seeing the big picture. It may get to a point where you may not even have a doctor at any hospital because all would have left the country and you now realize the impact of this stupid bragging. Already the IT sector is bleeding in Nigeria, and we are seeing the impacts on the banking sector. The touts are victims of these politicians, and they are not even sensible enough to realize it. Sanwoulu for once became humble and tried to engage with the ordinary Lagosian and feel his pulse. Be happy OP with the pyrrhic victory but know that you and your future generation may pay the price of a flawed system. |
yyba:Ode Buruku....you recieve 30k stipends, pay taxes to enrich one man and his family. You are been milked day and night by Tinbu and you still cannot see the big picture. There is extreme poverty and hunger un Nigeria and your are defending the indefensible. |
oyin44:You are really a shamless person. Who has done this to the black man ? You are really cursed beyond redemption to gloat over the death of your fellow country men. Let me remind you that the devil has no friends. What you wish for someone might be yours. Nigeria will definitely go extinct with such tribalism |
Nigeria is really a shit hole with people like this Islamic cleric. I promised to stay away from Nigerian politics since I migrated out of there but issues like this make me sick. How can people know the truth and embrace lies ? Nigeria will definitely disintegrate not due to politics but due to economic failure. The country is dead already. These people ae the cause of the failure of Nigeria. Buhari has been a big failure and has sent Nigeria several year back . The naira is becoming toilet paper and this cleric is spewing rubbish...oh my God. |
As someone who got PR in both Australia and Canada.. I would say getting the Australian PR is much more easier than Canada if you are using the right occupation and have all documents in place . I had interest in Canada and got frustrated and left the pool and applied for the Australian PR and got it within 3 Months. Please note I had excellent scores so I scaled through quite easily and got invited a day after filling the EOI on the Australian Immigration Website. Along the line, Canada invited me to apply and I ended up with both PR's for me and my family. I eventually choose Canada and I don't regret it. The Australia system was very fast and organized and very straight forward. They seem to share the same system believe it as i passed through the medicals of both countries. |
Please don't mind this lady ! I relocated Canada in 2018 and I have had no regrets. I was earning over 800K/ Monthly in Nigeria before leaving Nigeria and I am very happy for the decision. It was worth about 3076 cad now the same money is worth only about 2200 Cad. Lesson Learnt - Building your future and investment in Nigeria Naira is the worst mistake anyone can do. I wish I moved to Canada long time ago …. I would have achieved so much more and acquired greater wealth ! I am yet to see any Nigerian begging for money in Canada... or serious about going back to Nigeria permanently . The only people that go back are those that get work with the multinational oil companies in Nigeria and they get their Canadian passports first or leave their families here. Things may be difficult at first in Canada, but the system here supports you till you stand on your feet. You can work for as long as possible and earn good money legitimately . You regain your sanity and your primary focus would be to earn money because every other thing is in place. Once you get your Canadian Passport your global horizon increases. There are global opportunities for business and jobs every where in the world. What is critical is the right education, training, exposure and connections which Canada offers you. Nigerian system is designed to favor mediocrity and tribalism and I am very sure with this system embedded in Nigeria, things may get worse in Nigeria. |
Nigeria is the most stupid country in the world and not worth any respect !! Nigeria is worse than a zoo !!! Even Jungle is safer than Nigeria !! Please ban all Nigerian Politicians let them have sense for once !!! For once no violence in an election !!! Shameless Country !! Shameless Judiciary !!! Before I forget that foolish president should mind how he runs his mouth remember his medical doctors are in UK or else dem go block am. |
This refugees should stop making ridiculous claim. Even the 2000 dollars wey Canadian government wan give , conditions full am time. People should stop raising false flags and misinforming people. |
