SoNature: It's even a shame that politicians can use you against your own nephew, SLS, and you fell for it because of power, money and influence. Politicians should stop denigrating our traditional institutions. What you don't know is that Sunusi stole Bayero's mandate, starting from 2012 when Kwankwaso collected bribe from Sunusi to sell another person's throne to SLS. Just that the Bayero's are peaceful, no one would hear their cry then in 2012. It's well with Nigerians who don't know much but jump into conclusions |

10mobile: Kindly explain your point. Strength will fail me to type. Go enquire of the transpirations from 2012 till 2014 when Sunusi bought that office by bribing the then governor, Kwankwaso with our CBN looted fund, while Sunusi was deceiving GEJ as a friend, stabbing behind. HRH, BAYERO 1, appointed his son on the traditional ground and right to appoint his successor if one lasts up to 50 years on throne. Kwankwaso rejected that appointment as a governor. Collected bribe from Sunusi and imposed an Emir on the people of Kano. Truth be told, Sunusi is not the person you people think you know. He is just a drugged man, crazy for power and can inflinch any pain on people without many understanding it's genesis. |

You don't know him well. Another BolaBuhari Part 2 is what you are praying for. Go find out since 2012, and you will be cleared that the seat is for Bayero, not Sunusi. It's Kwankwaso that received bribe from Sunusi way back then and started setting their State ablaze. A lot will unfold from that state. Christianity Etc › Re: 8 Important Ways We Can Live Holy As Christians. by donmik: 1:39pm On May 26, 2024 |
HQofGilhem: Bible verse on living holy as Christians.
Matthew 6:1-6 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 7:1-6 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Colossians 3:1-6 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Hebrews 4:13-15 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Luke 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God
.
John 20:26-29 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Romans 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Colossians 3:12-13
[12]Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
[13]Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
Luke 11:41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you. Pls learn to summarise your points when addressing people. You may have a good point to make but... |

thesicilian: If this is your definition of a cult then the whole of Christianity, and even mankind is in a cult. Every rule/law in Christianity and in life is based on one threat of punishment or the other if you don't follow it.
The whole concept of Christianity is based on the threat that if you don't follow Christ, you'll be thrown into hell where you will burn for ever. What threat of punishment is greater than that?
Even at work, if you come late or refuse to come to work for one day what happens? Either your salary is deducted, or you're suspended without pay, or even sacked.
As a self employed business person if you don't pay your taxes you will be faced with severe punishment from the government. Irrespective of wether that particular tax is justified or not. Is that freedom?
You are not really as free as you think. We are all in a cage even though we sometimes own the cage. It's like that fellow omitted some words in his expression. As neutral as I am in my comprehension, achieved no meaning from his response. He is just the average Nigerian in thought |

If such a thing happens in the Igbo land, the narrative will be that Igbo people hate one another. Bigots will say that the Igbo should not lead Nigeria since the Igbo people cannot lead themselves.
If it happens among pastors or Bishops, the narrative will be that Christianity is a white man's weapon to destroy Africa. Religious bigots will say that Christianity is a scam.
On the other hand, who sends the army on a mission like this? Is it not obviously illegal for soldiers to interfere in this case? Truth be told, i am not a Kano person but the seat is rightly for Bayero. I followed all that transpired since 2012 |

He stayed over 50 years on throne and by the constitution, had to appoint his successor b4 death. He appointed his son but Kwankwaso came up to deny his son cos Kwankwaso got so much money from Sunusi in the attempt to dethrone Jonathan. Mind you, Sanusi looted CBN but pretended to be GEJ's friend in disguise. They succeeded though but.... I can assure you that many troubles will unfold if they continue to cheat on the innocent Bayero's family. Draw close to the Kano indigenes and hear the truth from many sources.
