Programming / Re: What Are The Limitations Of Flutter Over Kotlin, Swift And Object C by Donpre(m): 10:24am On Oct 03, 2023
Englishisamust:
We all know flutter is a cross platform framework for developing both iOS and androids. But some company prefer using kotlin and swift together, why is that?? I will love to know the reason from some bosses here?? I'm still a beginner in my programming career!! grin grin..
1. They can afford to support different platforms natively. Cross platforms are usually used by companies in need of speed and can't afford multiple native devs for different platforms

2. Native features can be a hassle to use without native experience and sometimes plugins don't always work as you intend. So those who want to build low level applications with a lot of hardware(native) API calls then to stick to native application

Otherwise, cross-platforms frameworks like Flutter and React Native is the future cause its cheaper and faster

Thank you so much for getting back to me. About the salary expectation... That question is usually tricky. How much is "fair'? The last time an HR asked me this question, he never replied me again after I told him my salary expectation. Is $5k/month too much? I just want to get every information right. Thanks in anticipation
5k for an entry role? LMAO wetin dey give una this kain mind

Forget all the fairytales you've heard here and on twitter. very very few people earn 5k monthly, even 3k monthly is a very very solid salary in 90% of the world and while you're try not to lowball yourself, you shouldn't go asking for an amount that make you sound ridiculous like you've never held a job before.

Realistically, 2k is a fair ask for an entry position depending on if its a company in a good country in the west, aside that, set your goals on 1k and 1.5k and work your way up with improving your skills and a resume.

My 2 cents

Handsome men pull women everywhere. The problem is being ugly. In Nigeria if you are ugly, your money will give you hope since there's so much poverty but out there no one send your money If you no fine.
Make I quench whatever dreams of pulling an Asian then cry

With wetin boys don tell me for Japan, if a Nigerian dude is handsome and can speak the language if it is non-English speaking, the chances of getting women are very high. Met one today and he has over 100 body counts - different women. He even runs away from it sef as he is ashamed of it. grin Another who came in April is already tired.

I hereby withdraw my statements about our men finding it difficult to get women.
I thought black men can't pull Asian women

This is wonderful information

It is more than 70%. There is a website where the stats can be seen as published by the Canadian government. Tensa20 shared it with me. The extent to which he has dug into immigration policies is mind-boggling but highly commendable.

Sound simple until you verge the route.
The OP seems well aware of the risks, did his research and has a game plan

I don't see why you guys are hellbent on convincing him that it's a bad plan.

Even if it is, that's the OP's problem to worry about

I really don’t get your animosity regarding his choice. OP has actually worked in Europe and returned to Nigeria, where he was a remote worker after being a mechanic. This is something he has written extensively on Nairaland. He then decides to relocate and begins his search on the best, straightforward and affordable route to emigrate to the US - his dream country. At one point, he wanted to study at the University of Virginia as that was the only university that accepted non-computer science/mathematics/elect engineering grads into their Computer Science master’s program. OP does not fancy the UK and most of Europe due to their ever-changing immigration policies and how it long it takes to become a naturalised citizen.

From his deep and thorough research, which I applaud, he discovers that South American countries’ passports are very strong. Furthermore, he discovers that certain countries enjoy labour privileges with developed countries. These privileges range from Working Holiday Visas to Youth Visas or Farming Visa. OP dug into the H1B system through which most tertiary-educated foreigners use to access the labour market. Before Covid, the probability was high, but after Covid, the chances dwindled drastically. So, he decides not to study in the US since, after studies, one is not sure of easily attaining US citizenship. There is a need for stability rather than running helter-skelter.

From there on, he discovers that citizens of Chile, Mexico, your darling Australia, Singapore and Canada ENJOY unrestricted access to the US labour market. OP is hell-bent on working in the US by fire, by force. But as a legal citizen of a country with strong ties to the US.

He emailed Mexican universities, no response. Singapore is out of the question as being a naturalised citizen as a black person is almost impossible since naturalisation is tied to one’s race. Australian universities are very expensive, even more than the UK. The same cost applies to Canada and before Covid, 8 out 10 student visa applications were denied by the Canadian embassy in Nigeria. I did not pull this stat from my yansh. It is on the Internet.

Chile is left, and he emailed the universities and got some replies. He enrolled in a Spanish language class and paid his tuition fees. Today, he is in Chile.

Now, Mr-I-Worked-In-The-HoR-And-I-Have-Mansions-In-Nigeria-Which-Nobody-Asked, what is bad in his approach?
I admire your patience, could never be me trying this hard to explain something so simple

Visa fee means you go for holiday not OWRK, after teh visa xpires it means you have to come back to your country if you stay you are an illegal immigrant, I am a British citizen, I can't go to the US to work without a working permit! I have been dealing with Miscreants on NL since 2007 who try to perfect certain countries with the hope people patronize them and they get duped. If not ask yourself this honest question, in today's FX like right about now £100 = CLP99261.70, 1 GBP= 992.62. Meaning teh Chilian Money is nxt to nothing cos a £100 is N1200 right now. Brazil has a higher weight than Chile as the Brazilian R is less than R6 to the £££ so you are Beter and well off in Brazil
NOW IF YOU LIVE NEAR THE US WHERE £100 IS rs555 AND £1 =RS555. Do you need a magician to tell you they chatting Bullshyyte all day??
Yen Yen Yen

Their minimum wage is 440000 CLP/Month (511.63 USD/Month)

median wage is 1.7M CLP/Month

Annual income is $78B

GDP per capita is $28,526

Now do for the Naira.. I'll wait grin

So I have a roommate from Germany I just met today. She's studying vertinary medicine at the same university as I am. The German lady doesn't know anything about tech. She said even though I get 30 hours. I can work double that if I want. No one checks that here. Won't take any chances though.
A German left their free and advanced universities for a paid one in Chile, I'm shocked!

But come to think of it, it still amazes me that Nigeria is yet to achieve constant electric power supply in 2023!
Its why I don't take the patriots serious.

An oil producing country that has no refinery and no constant electricity(a technology built and perfected over a century ago) is the trenchest of trenches and the sh!tiest of sh!ts. Honestly Nigerians are too loud for the failure that we are.
We should be very quiet and very ashamed for the society that we've built with what we were given

A complete disgrace in the League of Nations
