EmpressC36:Writing another UTME isn't the worst thing in the world. She can't not want to write another jamb and yet scores that low and still want nursing, shey she wants to perform magic ni? Best advice I can give, she should forget post utme and start reading from now, with eyes set on 270-280. Admissions are harder now, people pull 330 like it's a joke. She better buckle up or settle for whatever she's given 1 Like |

Dvd4:This is misleading. Unless you're a student of uniport, you shouldn't go dishing out wrong info like this one. Uniport uses average of both scores. 4 Likes |

Nobody here can assure you of anything because GPT-4 is a beast. Fireship's video on it would help put things into perspective As with everything, you should flow with the tide and not against it. Continue what you're doing but keep your eyes on information and advancements and don't be scared to abandon all the work you've in a heartbeat if you find a path more fulfilling. It might be painful but it's better than being obsolete. I'd say hit the market now with whatever skill you have and make as much money as you can 8 Likes |

RoyalPriesthuud:Grey or Payday via WIRE transfer(not ACH)... it's typically more expensive, about $50 extra(on top whatever the normal charge is, 1% for Grey and I think 4% for payday) Dunno what your person has against payoneer but if you have a Dom account, upwork => payoneer => Dom works fine... Charge is 2% or a minimum of $10 plus upworks $2 2 Likes |

Education / Re: See The Evil Happening In Uniport! by Donpre(m): 2:42pm On Feb 10, 2023 |
This is a terrible accusation and the OP is playing with an expulsion if he is found out and cannot back these claims with proof It's a dent on the university's name and reputation. As a Uniport student in the sciences, I took CHM 131.2 as everybody else did(although far back as 2018) and 1. Never did anything of such happen 2. The course is hard, and I say this as someone who read the course work cover to cover more then 3 times and some materials and past questions. It was the hardest course of year 1 It was funny when the OP said it was an easy course. 3. Student who read and attend classes struggle with it, let alone the very unserious ones who don't even know the names of their lecturers 4. I had an A, and so did 100+ of my coursemates The OP better have some substantial evidence or beg the mods to take this down. Make him no go carry him hand find trouble 1 Like |

Programming / Re: I'm A Self-taught Medical Doctor by Donpre(m): 1:35pm On Jan 08, 2023 |
airsaylongcome:Actually he makes no point and I didn't want to have to feed the troll by adding a comment to his thread Professional fields are standardized for a reason, so people have a reference point, an assurance of quality of some sort not because any of those fields can't be learnt outside the boundaries of a standardized institution. Even medicine can be learnt by just picking up and reading the books and then trail and error with patients but that is costly, inefficient and dangerous. Same with every field out there, it can be learnt and everyone can be a self-taught anything they want. Even CS has standards, the degree, oracle cert, AWS, GCP certs, Salesforce admin cert etc. Some jobs require them and some don't. The field is standardized and the reason self-taught get jobs is because the companies don't care for the certs but the knowledge. It becomes annoying when someone who is neither an employer of labor or a certified professional in the field creates such a thread. Like? How exactly does someone so insignificant in the CS gets to decide who the gates are closed to Final words: AI will take all our jobs anyway, so what's the point. 5 Likes |

truthCoder:I'm yet to try Riverpod because when I wanted to, the docs was bad and the code never worked, pre-1.0. I hear its better now but my current codebases use other state management solutions. I prefer Bloc for its maturity. Its been tested trusted and works well. Plus VGV maintains it so I have every confidence in it. Although Remi is a beast so eventually I think Riverpod will grow to be the mainstay state management like Provider has become if people can get comfortable using custom stateless widgets instead of the normal one I wonder if Riverpod solved the issue of side effects like Bloc does with BlocListener. When you want to make a UI call, say show a toast when a particular state change occurs. In provider, I had to setup streams. Any idea if riverpod has a solution for that? |
