One of my major regrets in domaining this year was not transferring more names that I plan to keep beyond 2024 during that one/com 1.99 transfer promo. I transferred just 16 names , now I think I should have transfered more.

Maintaining a large portfolio is not small work though I still have under 500names.

It's a very challenging process of knowing what to keep and what to throw away.

It has got to be one.com. They came through for me with the huge list of my domains needing renewals at this tinubu times. I just transfer to them. Do it is not an easy task, but it is worth the stress.

I have about 20 names with them now , I thought the limit was 10, but I was able to register more, not an easy task but it's definitely worth the stress.

I also think the promo is limited to Nigerian citizens only, I am not sure though.

Modified: For people transferring names there , make sure you switch off WHOIS Privacy before you start the transfer process to avoid premium tears

I use Payoneer to withdraw form SH. Maybe you have connected your Payoneer or PayPal in the past.

You don’t need to fill any form. Just click that you are not a US citizen.

SH approved an unregistered name I submitted. I wanted to publish the name but I was told they had issues registering the name. Have you experienced this before

I just experience this two days ago , I sent a message to support and they told me they are working on it. I sent them a reminder last night and it hasn’t been resolved yet. It may be a system glitch. The name is still unregistered, I just checked.

It was my only approval from 22 names down to 13.

I am surprised at what sells, I have sold SH names for as high as $49 but my sweet spot is $19 ( I get like $18 after squadhelp takes their cut. I have sold for as low as $9 too.

For creative owned domains, It depends on a lot of factors like how many similar names I have in my portfolio , but sometimes 3 months to expiry , I will have decided I won’t renew the name , so I get to play around with the pricing. Also from $9 to about $99

Over the last few days , one buyer bought like 15 of my names from the wholesale marketplace. I just submitted 26 new names for review. I will share the approved ones.

Like @apus said , only you can determine what is worth renewing or not.

You can however renew and put the names on the wholesale marketplace , list for 89 or 79 for a month and then reduce the price by 10 or more every month. I have sold a lot of names this year doing that. It may eventually sell for like 20 or 30 but you can use that money to renew 2 or 3 other names.

I pick all of my names from ED , but I am not sure about this one. It’s either from ED or I tweaked a similar name from ED which I suspect is the case cause I own this name too. I am surprised it is registered in 8 extensions , when it sold I think it was just 2 or 3 then.

because I checked it and its registered in 8 other extensions since its SH owned I assume you did not get it at an auction and it was available or it dropped...

since hold time is 6 months and 4 days I think it's insane for a name to have only 1 extension 6 months ago then 6 months later it's registered in 8 extensions.

did you get it from exp:iredDomains dot net or was it a creative submission
