It’s the next car…….she’s coming in the next car, a black Mercedes coupe, an S500, travelling South, just as we planned”, Max said.
“I thought she drove a Porsche”, a voice crackling through the static of his two-way radio replied.
“She’s driving a Mercedes!” Max snapped angrily.
“You’ve got about ninety seconds”.
“Got it”. Eyes narrowed.
She was getting nearer.
His heart hammered. He remembered the scent of her skin, the look in her eyes. The depth of her betrayal. She deserved this, the self-righteous bitch. He only wished she could know that he was the instrument of her death.
Adrenalin surged through his blood.
“In the twinkle of an eye” a truck crossed her path.
“She was dead” she is still dead and will keep on dying as long as I know she’s alive.

She couldn’t see, couldn’t speak……oh God. She couldn’t see, couldn’t move her hand. She tried to open her eyes, but her eyelids wouldn’t move.
“Ms. Fiona?”
Ms. Fiona? There was a touch, someone’s cool fingers on the back of the hand “Ms. Fiona, can you hear me?” The voice, kind and female, sounded as if it was carried from a great distance…..far away, from a spot on the other side of the pain. Me? I’m Ms. Fiona? That sounded wrong, but she didn’t know why.
Was she dreaming, probably
“Your brother’s here to see you.”
My brother? But I don’t have…..Oh, God, what’s happening to me? Am I going crazy…..Yeah well I’ve gone crazy because I don’t seem to remember anything.
“Where am I?” she yelled
“Ms. Fiona, please take it easy ….. What! Did you just talk, you’ve been in coma for the past six weeks. I’ll need to call the Doctor”
”of course… but wait did I just talk?”
“Yeah, your brother is here to see you”
Brother, brother, brother…….remember something his face, look, build, your parents…..just a waste of time, nothing seems to be coming up.
‘Tell him….no
“Tell him to come in”
‘’alright ma’am’’
A minute later, Max walks in.
“Fiona? It’s Max”…….he said. His deep baritone voice was loud.
“I don’t know you”
Oh God why couldn’t she remember?
Had she seen his face before, color of his hair, the width of his shoulders, the size of his shoes, any little trait…..my brother…..what? Impossible.
Max’s pov
I sat down on a chair.
Shit! She doesn’t remember me that serves the bitch right. I hope she remains like that forever.
“Never mind”, I said “the doctor said it’ll take only a couple of weeks for you to recover from the amnesia”
“Yeah, hope so”, she said.
Gritting my teeth, I strode to the bed and felt like a damned intruder. She was lying on her back, her face bruised and swollen beyond recognition, her jaw wired. “Jesus” I whispered.
This was Fiona.
My gut clenched. I’d told myself I would never forgive her for betraying me, but standing over her as I did now, I couldn’t help but feel a sliver of empathy for the pathetic bitch who is my sister. Damn she looked bad, barely alive I wish she had died…..Bleep. Her head had been shaved on one side and there were visible stitches in the dark stubble. I hate this so called sister of mine……..shit, I needed a cigarette.
“The Doctor said you should be discharged in two days”, he said
“Why not now”
“Because you need to heal”
“Huff”

Chapter 15


CHAPTER 15
"So you are my brothers lucky mate, i totally knew it", she stated with a glint of excitement.
I looked at her trying to study her " yes,I guess so and you his sister", i mentally face Palmed, of course she is his sister but i thought her name was Mila.
I felt my wolf roll her eyes and she sat on her paws" remind me again,why the Bleep are we stating the obvious?".
I sighed "i have no idea, it comes naturally".
" Well, I'm basically his cousin sister,anyways I'm so glad you his mate!" ,Sophie said excited ".. .from the moment i met you i knew you were special, we need to celebrate!".
'Wait what?'
Sophie stood up and grabbed my hand, " where are we going?" i asked her confused. I mean what were we even celebrating!
She smirked " to celebrate at the werewolves club,you need to let yourself loosen up for a bit !"
"Jake is so gonna kill you.Or maybe he will eat you
up..." Nina sang .
I ignored her and smirked. I mean defying the Alpha?,i love the idea 'what is he gonna do. ' I think I'm in love with Sophie ' i thought to myself.
"Well let's see how long that love is gonna last once she gets us killed!" Nina complained.
"Girl you need to take a chill pill" .I told her with smile.
" i can't wait!,let's go. I have been dying to get out of this place for a while now" i told Sophie who was already dragging me out of the pack house.
"You are going to love the place!,its incredibly fun!"
We got into Sophie's black BMW which looked 'incredibly beautiful', its so good to be rich.
"Nice car" i said admiring the soft leather seats.
"Thanks,she's my favorite" Sophie stated starting the engine.

We arrived at the blue Bloods club after an hour around midnight. I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty for defying the Alpha but i shrugged it off. Nina was awfully quiet,i was starting to get used to her company in my head but i knew she was against me going out without Jakes approval.
" Welcome to The Blue Blood's Club" Sophie shouted grabbing my hand again,'this girl is going to pull my hand out of its socket one day.'
I followed her to a considerably big building with bright lights and loud music. I smiled ,i had a 'thing for parties '.
We passed by a buff guard who looked really scary and ready to kill. We showed him our IDs and he let us pass.
The music inside the club was even louder, i swear my ear drums were about to burst. I sighed in relief when surprisingly my favorite song started to play 'Lucky by Aurora'.
"Stay close to me at all times, let's get some drinks!" Sophie shouted unnecessarily considering the music was no longer that loud. I followed her to the bar avoiding all the dancing figures,'the club was packed'.
We sat on the black chairs by the bar,a curly blond man came to take our orders.
Sophie smiled at him " ḫi̮̮ T̮̮i̮̮m̮ ̮!,"
The man i now knew as Tim gave us a toothy grin
"Sophie!, would you like your usual".
" Uhm tonight we celebrating so give us something stronger,your best shots!" She shouted.
I raised an eyebrow at Sophie,i really had no intention of getting wasted tonight. Sophie noticed my facial expression of disapproval.
"Don't worry!,wolves don't get that drunk. Besides what's a celebration without getting a little bit wasted!"
Yeah,she was right i needed to get a little bit wasted but not because i was celebrating but because i needed to drown my sorrows.
"BRING IT ON!" I shouted back and they both smiled.
Tim brought a two large bottles, one with blue liquid inside and another one with black liquid.
" I'm going to mix your shots and you two are going to be having the blue blood shots!"
I frowned " what's a blue blood shot?"
Sophie laughed " A blue blood shot is a were wolves biggest weakness when it comes to alcohol. Were wolves systems are different from humans!,we don't get drunk easily by consuming simple human alcohol." She smirked "but we do have our own alcohol called the blue blood shot. If humans drink that they would probably die from an alcohol overdose just by having one shot!. This is why this club is called the Blue Bloods, the shots are only given to werewolves but humans don't even know about it"
I widened my eyes in realization " oh, that's so cool!".
Tim and Sophie both laughed at my childish comment. After Tim finished mixing the alcohol he poured it in two tiny glasses and he handed them to us. I picked up my glass and immediately drank it all quickly.
" JESUS!" I shouted out loud, the shot was strong. I felt it burn as it entered my throat but i loved the sweet taste it left on my tongue. I could already feel myself getting tipsy.
I saw Sophie shaking her head vigorously as if trying to get rid of her tipsiness.
" Another ONE!" She shouted.
After that we found ourselves having several shots,one after the other. All i can say is that i was already wasted. After a few more minutes i found myself on the dance floor, dancing with Sophie like crazy people to Sia and Zayn's song 'Dusk till Dawn. Then after an hour we were dancing like mad people to Axwel_&Ingrosso'z song More than you know.' I love that song!.
I didn't even notice that there was a guy behind me,he grabbed my hips and started dancing with me. I was having the time of my life!,as for Sophie i had no idea were she had disappeared to.
When my head started pounding i knew
i had to look for the toilets before i vomit all over the dance floor.
I started walking away like a drunk Zombie. I stumbled a few times and held the walls for support. I couldn't feel Nina at all and i was guessing it was because of the alcohol. " Nina...a..little..he.l..p please...wake up" i said stuttering. I needed her strength,i could barely see clearly anymore. I am fucking wasted right now.
Before i could reach the toilet i was smashed to the wall " Ahh!,what the hell!" I screamed.
I looked at the guy who had me trapped by the wall and noticed he was the same guy who i had been dancing with.
He put his head on my neck,he started sniffing my neck. I tried pushing him away but that didn't work,i was helpless. " Get..off me!"
He just smirked " no ".
With that simple answer he smashed his lips on mine and roughly started kissing me roughly . I could feel his sharp teeth almost piercing my neck .I couldn't believe this was happening,he was either going to rape me then kill me and no one was going to help me!.
I closed my eyes but suddenly the guy was pushed away from me and there was a loud fierce growl. I fell to the ground and watched as a figure beat the shit out of the guy who was about to rape me. I was picked up by my sudden hero, my vision was still blurry but when i heard his voice i knew i was in big trouble, 'shit'. "You defied me..." he said anger filling each word that came out of his mouth.

Chapter 11

We were all sitting in the sitting room waiting for Karl,until we heard Karl scream from his room,we rushed to his room,entering his room,his eyes were red,his teeth were sharp,and he seems angry,he sped to me so fast holding my neck,wanting to bite me,I was so scared
"Karl,just be your normal self "I said then he fell
"Woah,have never seen a thing like this before"Ken said suprisely,have never did too,but I heard vampires are really powerful and so fast,we carried him to his bed
"I hope he would be fine"jade said,he gently opened his eyes,they were normal now
"Are you okay?"ken asked
"I don't think so"he replied weakly,it was obvious
"What was that all about"ken asked
"Sorry for hurting you max,but I think its a sign"he said
"A sign?"we all chroused
"Yeah,I don't know what sign is all about,but I feel weak"he said,then he starts to bleed from his nose
"You're bleeding karl"jade said as bought out an handkerchief and gives It to him,he sat on the bed comfortably
"You're cold right?"Ken asked
"Yeah,its vampires nature,buh we don't feel it"he said,no wonder his room is extremely cold,you can get freezed in it,that's more reason why we hardly come to his room
"Would you be able to go to school?"I asked
"I don't think so"he said
"Sorry"we chroused
"Thanks but don't let kell to know am a vampire "he pleaded
"You're qualied?"jade asked
"Yes I am"he answered
"I guess we should leave for now"I suggested as we all went to our room respectively, I entered my room and I was scared, I have never seen a thing like this before,but I know Karl is strong he is capable of controlling whosoever is controlling him,I trust him and hoped he would be fine,kell's call came up
"Hey max,I called Karl,but he is not picking,aren't you guys coming to school?"she asked
"Yeah"I answered
"Why?"she asked
"Nothing"I answered
"Okay bye"she said and hang up,am sure she's feeling pretty bad at the absence of Karl.

The feeling of the hand sanitizer seemed to calm my spirit down in a way I couldn't understand. Slowly, my past was beginning to catch up with me. Even if I die keeping Gaby safe at least I die a satisfied man.
I cleaned up the mess and disposed my bloody clothes to put on the one I got from the boutique. One last look at the place and at Travis grave, I got in the car and drove off.
Gabrielle's PROV:
It's been hours since I called Luke yet he hasn't returned mine. I called Milton to ask if he's at work but he told me he left since afternoon. I don't wanna believe what my head's saying to me.
Its past 9 and he's still not home. I'm going crazy! What if he's been kidnapped or worse killed. He told me not to go anywhere alone but he's out there! Not even at work!!
"Babycakes... You need to calm down" Quinn suggested.
"Calm down? No I don't think that's helping. Quinn, he hasn't called. He's not at work. He's out late. What do you mean calm down?" I blurted real angry at the fact that she thinks I'm overreaching.
"I know but.."
"You know what? I'm taking a walk. Who knows? I may find him dead on the streets!" I ran upstairs to change into something warm.
"Gabby! Calm the Bleep down and stop thinking he's dead" she yelled.
The streets were cold as hell but not lonely unlike where I lived. It was different here. Everyone was still out selling things in preparation for Christmas. But I just needed one thing now. My favourite on a cold night; meat bread and ice cream. Yeah on a cold night.
I smiled broadly as I sighted a shop were things like that could be sold.
"Hi.. Uhm do you guys have meat bread?" I asked politely at the red head cute guy that served.
"I'm so sorry Miss, but we've got chocolate cakes and they just got out the oven" he smiled with full assurance.
"Okay I'll have that and a cup of vanilla ice cream, thank you" I got myself a seat while I sat wondering why Luke hasn't called till now.
Stupid conceited goat!
"Gabby?" I heard a familiar voice and when I turned, there stood Anne in an Apron. God...she looks so adorable in red and yellow.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"Oh I don't know. They sell dogs here so I obviously came to get them" I blurted my thoughts out for the first time in my life!
"What?" She frowned.
"I'm sorry.. I just needed air" I explained lowering my eyes.
"Are you okay?" She asked offering us another seat.
"I don't know" I sniffed and before I knew it my eye fountain began to pour.
"Oh my gosh..talk to me. Don't cry..you'll ruin your mascara" she comforted.
"I've got none on me" I smiled still crying like a wimp.
"You're so pretty" she smiled.
"Oh shup up. We both know you're prettier" again, I said something useless.
"Thanks but what's wrong?" She insisted to know more.
"I haven't heart from Luke..he's not at work.. He's not back home" I felt another tear find it's way down my eyes as I explained further.
"You think he's cheating?" She asked in a more surprised pitch.
"No.." I sighed.
"I don't know"
"He's not" she said.
"I know...it's weird to say that but, we dated before.."
Yeah you didn't have to remind me.
" I'm sure he must've told you. And he's the loyal type. He's not a cheat believe me. Maybe he got called at something else that no one knows about" she offered me a bite from the cake.
"Maybe you're right. I should go now" I smiled.
"Wait, I'm almost done with my shift, I'll drop you off. Just eat while you wait" she hurried off without waiting for my opinion.

As promised, she dropped me off at Luke's. I was gonna lie about who's house it was but when she blurted out the truth, I just played along. She offered to take I, Quinn and my brothers to the zoo tomorrow afternoon since I was homesick already.
"Bye! See you tomorrow" I bid her and turned to open the door when I bumped into Luke.
"What the hell?!!! You almost gave me a heart attack!" I held my chest in relief.
"I thought I told you not to go out alone?"

The powerful seven letter word.
Silence.
It wasn't only powerful, it was also dangerous because you wouldn't be able to detect what might happen the next minute. Even the fall of a pin could make your heart skip a beat.
Your mind would be in so many wild places as you're left wondering what's about to go down.
"Dude do you go dumb after saying a sentence or was that the only thing you learnt as a kid?" Travis asked.
Quite amusing of him to make a joke out of all this, if you ask me.
"Yo! I'm taking to you!" He yelled further.
I kept my gaze fixed on him. Studying his every action. I could tell his adrenaline level was high as he fought to cover up his fear. His hands were rough and shaky from the belt that was tired across the chair he sat.
"What the hell do you want from me!!" He tautened.
I smirked "Your cooperation".
"Oh so you speak English?" He acknowledged.
I threw a knife at the wooden door behind him causing him to glare st me. Lord knows I'm trying my best to hold in anger.
"Now, Do you know Gabrielle Salvador?"
"No. You got the wrong guy, bro" he answered immediately.
I smirked as I lifted a paring knife from the a box and walked over to him.
"See this here? It's was one of the tools used to flay. In order words, remove the skin from the face or body of a person. It was practiced all over the world. But China was the only country fund of it. I'm just going to carefully slice into your dermis, removing the skin of your face in one piece if you try to play smart with me. I'll make the devil anticipate your arrival in hell if you dare lie to me. Got it?"
He nodded in bewilderment.
"Good. For the last time. Do you know Gabrielle Salvador?" I asked him while I took my suit off and folded my sleeves.
There was no answer just the sound of a heart in trouble all over the room.
"Fine then." I muttered as I slowly dug the knife into the skin of his arm, slicing every piece out.
He groaned in pain but that didn't mean two bleeps to me, if he won't do it the easy way, I'd love the hard way.
"Wait! Wait! Yes! I know her! Just wait!" He hyperventilated and I stopped.
"Look at the mess you made me do." I shook my head in pity.
"Have you been stalking her?"
"Yes but not always..Someone else does too" he explained.
"Who?" I asked quite interested in the story.
"Bro, I don't know.." His mouth snapped shut.
I picked up the knife to continue but the next thing he said made me want to slam his face on the door frame.
"How would I know?"
"You have no idea how much trouble you're in, you dumb slug" I sang as I gave him non-deadly cuts on his limbs and torso.
"I don't know shit nigga!!" He cried.
"Who sent you to do all these?" I ran pictures of him following gabby all over the place, including when he saw her at the Cafe and when he and some other men gained access to her house.
"Because I know buddy, a normal human won't do this for just cause. So who are you working for?" I inquired.
"Quite smart Luke"
"You see, I have always wanted to hurt Gabby. I just didn't know how" he laughed.
"Oh Travis..." I ran multiple cuts all over his body and watched him groan in pain as his blood dropped on the wooden floor.
"You think I'm gonna tell you who I'm working for? Go to hell bitch! Even if I'm gone, you and Gabby will still end up dead! You will watch her die and you will never forgive yourself! She's a goner! A walking corpse " His chest vibrated as he let out his last laugh.
