Nairaland General › Re: Thread For Reporting Pages With Bad Words And Pictures by dont8(m): 8:06pm On Sep 01, 2012 |
Will it be easy to do that, as most people use their native language to decode dirty words and sexual talks. Seun: Dear Nairalanders,
If you come across any public page on Nairaland with dirty words/pictures or discussing sex or sexual body parts, or links to bad sites, please post a link to the page on this thread so it can be cleaned immediately by a moderator.
Thanks a million! This is a special experiment. |

Really, I thoutht autopsy could reveal any cause of death, thanks for the enlightenment anyway. Billyonaire: Autopsy cant reveal "poison" only toxicology report does. Poisonous substances chemical make-up could change due to body temperature variances and when oxygen is no more in the blood. Hope he didnt confess wrongly because of intense torture. I hear those police can make you say you kill your papa even when you papa is alive due to inhumane torture techniques. |

Don't know where to start, but I must commend the op for starting this wonderful and enlightening thread and most of all, the pregnant ladies in the house, God bless you all. I'm an expectant dad and I've read a lot of touching stories and the one of safe deliveries, can't wait to pass this information to my wife. God bless every expectant moms and I wish them safe delivery. agiboma: Hi all,
Sorry for my absence will try to update the front ASAP. Today I want to share a story about a lady i saw @ my clinic, hoping this will help somebody somewhere, someday.
Well today was a sad day @ the clinic, I want to tell you about a woman lets call her "SJ". I only meet her on two occasions and if someone told me what i found out today i would have said they are lieing. So Back in mid July SJ came to us for an ultrasound scan. She came late after we had closed, the midwife had called me that day and asked us to stay late so that we can see her because it was an emergency and so we did. As with every procedure in my clinic i made it mandatory that we check the blood pressure of everybody, I checked SJ that day and her bp was very high. I asked her to pass urine so i can check for proteins and glucose, she had just went to the washroom and could not urinate again. @ that time wecharged a small fee for the service. SJ was about 28 weeks pregnant. I went home and somehow was touched by SJ, I decided to call the midwife that referred her to us and tell her to send SJ back to us I will do the Urinalysis for free. I think it was the bus fare to get to our place that stopped looking back at it now. A few days later i called the midwife asked her why SJ has not come to us she said she passed on the message to her so hopefully she will come soon. Anyhow yesterday being Ausust 22nd in the morning the midwife calls and says she is sending a customer and to tell the doctor to check her over well. I said ok. Went into the office and saw SJ, i confirmed it was indeed her and asked her why she never came back to us for the follow up. I told my nurse to do the bp it was 186/117 OMG i said in my mind i then told her we have to do uine test today she was refusing at first then i told her it was free and she reluctantly agreed. Tested her urine and it was (++++) keep in mind the test strip only goes up to (+++) I said OMG this women is very sick. We did the scan and luckily the baby was still alive, but her amniotic fluid was decreased. I called the midwife and told her this woman is sick the baby is also breeched and she needs to transfer her to the teaching hospital immediately. I thought that was the end of it, only for the midwife to call me today to tell me SJ had and her unborn baby had died.
Wanted you pregnant ladies to know not to take this high blood pressure issue for granted. Dont brush it off as a small thing because its not. If you have pregnant friends that say their bp is high advise them to register or go to the teaching hospital in their area's. If no one else does it lets start to spread awarness of the deadly condition in pregnancy, it has to start from somewhere in this Nigeria let this be one of the starting points.

The said national icon was killed by who? Abujafood: Funmi Ransome Kuti is a national icon, she isn't the personal property of the Kuti Family but all Nigerians because of her sterling contributions so the family doesn't have to be contacted for permission. It's up to all Nigerians to decide not Kuti's family alone. |
