Well, many ladies of now a days(on NL, FB, IG, e.t.c) tends to get focused on their beauty more than developing their abilities and brain. Many would rather read celebrities news, google search Korean films and names, take unending pictures(as if their life depends on it), blah blah blah. Why not be updated on politics, latest technologies and invention, foreign news trending, e.t.c. Ask someone what she knew of the dasuki gate scandal, she wont have any idea.

Mind you, am not saying its bad to look beautiful, but its a sin if that beauty cant be complimented with an average intelligence. There are diverse things we can do with our mobile phones, laptops, i-phones that will add to us intellectually. It hurts me when i see a lady whose first priority is beauty and fashion neglecting every aspect of getting better.

With all said... if you are in this category, brace up, add to your self and get a life. Take it or leave it, Many guys want Women they can trust wen it comes to intelligence. Even, science shows that women are slightly intelligent than men...But, reverse is the case this days.

Lastly, i throw to you.... What have you been gaining since youve joined NairaLand aside having fun?

Dear romanclander, Happy new year to u all.. Am actually new in nairaland this is my 1st topic here precisely.
There is this girl I love so much will are in a relationship for the past 1 year now, she is everything I want in a girl so caring,loving,she don't ask much and she always believe in my dream and aspiration in life and promises to stick and love me till the end.. Her dad is a lawyer why me am an undergraduate of UNIBEN studying Medical laboratory from a noble back ground. The problem that I have is that she will be leaving the country for canada to study nursing there,a 4 years degree programme and am going to miss her a lot.. I was thinking of ending the relationship since the distance will be a limiting factor,moreover she might forget about me when she's there and start dating someone else but she still insisted that will continue as far as there is a strong communication between us.
