Chiggsglover:Finally I'm at the last page, right from the very first beginning of your humble journey. To be frank I'm planning on going to UK for my masters programme but with all that I read here, I am beginning to feel that IRELAND and UK are almost the same in such a way that I'd prefer IRELAND as my second option now. Pending when I begin the process, next year, I will be getting more information from you. Nonetheless, do update us on how the get together went. P.s, you mentioned something about girlfriend, ☺, have you gotten one now? ☺ |
People saying NNPC will recruit 1200 to 1300, to be frank, I don't understand if NNPC stated that or is it all based on source or sauce. Nevertheless, If NNPC never stated that and it is all for any other reason, I refuse to believe that theory or incitement. Reasons are : In 2014 alone NNPC recorded over 3000 shortage in its corporation. I can give first hand information that Kaduna Refinery alone has deficit of over 1000 workers. PPMC alone needs over 500 workers. PPMC is where I did my industrial Training. My Oga at the time, the Operation Superintendent and other top men were retired already from 2013 till date leaving more Vacancies. In furtherance, NNPC is a corporation on its own with over 20 mega subsidiaries, all needing to replace vacant positions. With many retirees that would also give more room in numbers for more new workers. This year alone top men were retired and more will retire this year and next year once the recruitment exercise is rounded up. Also, I don't see EH having below 400 slots because of excess experienced shortage. With my postulation and from the direct information from one of the top Ogas at the towers, (name and position withheld) NNPC will recruit over 3000 workers to cover all the subsidiaries all over the country. Happy Sunday Y'all. |
The best way to navigate through a thread like this with a lot of comments is to check the number of likes on each reply/Comment before you read them. If not, someone might spend time reading unimportant replies and comments. I finally made it to the last page. Will be back after one week. |
Una no dey tire. 425 pages already? Please the first person to receive APL should create another forum for APL testimony. |
Afootee:Sorry who? |
![]() Is it not you people that doesn't want to stop talking about alert, salary and apl? Afootee: |
I just remembered something. One of my friends woke up one morning and he got a text message from his uncle in NNPC Towers. He was asked to submit his CV. After he did, he was asked to make sure his phone number and email address were correct. And that was it. We pray for the best. |
Mitocyan:This is Nigeria bro. When I worked as intern at PPMC, majority of active workers are the contact staff. The Ogas sit in the office. I know this because my Oga was the operation superintendant. |
Gianluigizona:Okay. I still believe there is more to the recruitment exercise and the number of expected intake/employees. However, we are not here to debate on anything until the final day. Less I forget, you mentioned something about the end date of the recruitment exercise. When is it, if I may ask, because I learnt it will be in August latest. |
mathology5431:Your 'sauce' is correct too. ![]() |
The funny thing about all this is that people who already booked their slot are somewhere laughing at people who received and didn't receive alert, while waiting on the final announcement to come do Clearwater and medical. But one lucky thing about all this is that one way or the other, plenty people will still be Favoured because NNPC really need to fill in their plenty vacancies running since 2013. If not, How else do we explain their fast recruitment exercise. According to my source in Kaduna refinery, over 1000 vacancies are needed there, and according to my source at NNPC Towers over 3000 vacancies in surplus is needed generally, but what I ponders me and I don't seem to understand is, why do people always state with fact that NNPC will be recruiting 1000/1200 new workers. This doesn't add up to the vacant positions or else if they plan to do the recruitment yearly for the next 2/5 years. Therefore, to cut the long story short, you all that came for the interview should be optimistic, weather you receive the T.F alert or not, be hopeful. Something must give In. NNPC has a lot of subsidiaries and all of them need plenty replacement in thousands. Udo. |
cocococo:You be character. He even added a picture |
JahMan1:Yes, one of the major reason why NNPC is fast on this one is because alot of vacancies abounds and this for. The first time since 2010 or so, should be a major recruitment exercise. We all should be lucky that it is in our own time and I pray we all get favored. If possible. If not, still, that's not the end of life, other opportunities abounds. |
chilax94: ![]() Important question o. Does FRSC pay 4 million upfront? Do they pay 13th month? When I did my I. T at PPMC in 2013, my Oga then, the then operation superintendant kept lamenting and gingering the junior staff to be serious with their job because if any get query and gets sacked, that the village people will disown them for playing with such opportunity, being an NNPC staff. BOTTOM LINE, allow people to express themselves in any way here because this Job, God willing, is one of a life time achievement. |
wilsonlexis:Tell us the truth biko. I have my own intels too. |
E no easy my brothers. Even Naija condition will not Favour people who want to help themself. Sinve november last year after service, it is one issue to another. From planning to emigrate to Australia for my master's to financial issue with the Dollar rate increase to my dad asking me to pause the emigration process, even after renewing my passport and written the English proficiency exam to my dad again asking me to start the masters here in Nigeria to me refusing but rather doing professional courses to him refusing to sponsor my choice to now Me depending on survival and Raising enough money to run some of the professional courses or traveling to Germany. It's not easy my brother's, life after service but assuming I knew the plans to travel out would fail during my service, I for make better plans. |
Hello room. Good morning everyone. I'm happy to be here. I have been on the Australian immigration thrend since January and coming here means I might have to start afresh, but I will be needing a quicky advise and step. Let me get straight to the point, I am a petroleum engineer, finished my service in Nov last year. Started plans for my migration to Australia for my master's/work. I have already renewed my passport written the English proficiency exam only for my father who's my sponsor to decline the move based on the financial issues coupled with the high dollar rate earlier this year. He even at the long run suggested I start the masters here which I abruptly refused because there's no future here. We all know that. I want the best for me hence forth, not a mere promise without genuineness. To cut the story short, since then I have been trying to move on, looking for an easy option to leave Naija until my friend suggested Germany for me due to the tuition free and possibility to work during and after studies unlike Finland and Norway and the rest. Now, I need the advise of the knowledged persons here who can put me through with the process and the possible course to route in, be it masters program for a petroleum engineer or new course all together. Please I need your advises, had I known I would have devoted all my time to read the discussion here rather than the time I spent on the Australian forum earlier this year. Please all, just your suggestions is what I need, I need to start the process so as to achieve something before this year runs out. Thanks all and may God bless our struggle. Amen |

Please I need your advises so as to enable me prepare very well. Thank you all |
ideology:How far are you going with the new establishment sire? I trust it's going fine. |
I appreciate the good work done here. I graduated with 2.2 from futo in 2014, finished my nysc service last year. Had a plan with my Father to travel to Australia immediately after my service for my post graduate study with the Main objective of gaining a better prospects and having many options of employability because I can get a work permit to work at least 2 years after the program, where by I can apply for permanent residence. But the plan was paused due to devaluing of Naira which makes the migration pursuit a problem. So I was asked to wait. Now, while I am waiting and applying for jobs my dad suggested I start apply for masters here in Nigeria which I do not fancy and not motivated to do because of the current situation of de country and no guarantee of post work opportunity. I had a different view of going for professional courses like to start with Nebosh, but he refuses to accept my decision with the reason that I must choose what he commands. I am. Devastated by this current situation that I have decided to ask in order to really know the best path or clear my doubts if I am not making de right decision of preferring a professional course than going through the stress of Nigerian education system once more that I have forbidden never to embark on unless I am Already working. Thank u |
