Esther was the first to point out that Mike and some hms have strong fan base out there hence it's not like she doesn't know the top contenders. Her only close friends were Frodd and Sir Dee. It's not a surprise she chose them.

Ike should have just been playful and not get committed to anyone. He could have been upfront by telling Mercy and any other female that he wasn't there for a relationship and just wanted to enjoy himself. He's got some bit of self control on his sexual urge, so it's not something that could have been a problem. He could have been as strong as Mike and the fact that he's got other attributes.

I actually think he should have used the excuse of Mercy hurling curse at him and his generation to break up. Mercy came with Nina's nice girl script and she already knew how people turned against Miracle and supported Nina after everything. Moreso why she always makes it look like Ike is playing her. I'm sure the smart Ike must have known this but he won't want to talk about it and the more reason he doesn't want to justify Mercy's insinuation. If only he knew that whether he justified it or not, Mercy had already usurped him but I hope it's not too late..

Tacha came with Ceec's script to be controversial in the house and give people something to talk about. However, I like the fact that she's loyal to her friends and confrontational whenever she thinks you have a problem. with her.

Yea, I get your point. I wish same too, but Nina and her fans are not that consequential in the grand scheme of things. They couldn't make Nina win, I wonder why they think they can do it for Mercy. They will do their own, but her sponsor will do the rest.

Nina's fans had grown so much. Some of them even decamped from Miracle's to Nina. Also, they kept up with the early jingles to draw in more fans bouyed by Mercy's early nomination.

The funny thing about this analogy is, not everybody is stanning Mercy because of her romance with Ike. I liked Ike from the stage but got to like Mercy in the house.

When they started the Merike thingy it actually irked me but I don't care either way. Mercy portrays a character opposite of many people's initial assumption.

One would have thought she would be a professional baby girl, seeing her for the first time. It came as a surprise to see her competitive, relatable and quite homely. She is the girl next door, annoy her, she tells you; be nice to her, she reciprocates.

You made it look like she is entirely useless on her own. Jackye was smart, but like most nerds- she failed in other (entertainment) areas. She was sanctimonious too, which didn't go well with lots of people.

Mercy is not up there intellectually, but she makes up for it in some other areas. She has drive, she would willingly participate in her own "dumb" way.

I know lots of MerIke fans are undercover Mercy fans, stanning both of them(verbally), but percentages do not lie.

They are both gaining from that relationship, but one has to be the weaker link and we know who it is. It is not because Mercy took all the shine, but she has sponsors from what I am beginning to see.

Like I said Nina was also competitive.

The thing Mercy had going for her was the fact that she's Nina's friend and most of Nina's followers already declared their support for her the moment she got into the house. They were the one who kept up with the jingle as early as possible to draw in more fans. Obviously, they are wary of another Miracle hence the reason they chose Mercy over Ike but I hope everyone would judge every hms individually and not go with their stupid ship nonsense and insecure minds. It was Mercy who chose to have a ship with Ike all along.

Ike is even better than Miracle cos he's more intelligent and not a delawood like Miracle. Miracle was all about his physical prowess in arena game and his love live story.

Mercy is actually competitive. She doesn't mind looking stupid, she just wants to get things done- makes her not to throw in the towel easily. I admire that about her.

Competitive in what sense? Nina was also competitive but was regarded as dumb. Heck, Jackye who was more intelligent than Mercy was more competitive. Why was she not considered as a top contender? Even Esther? Even Cindy?

Without her love story with Ike, what else does she brings to the table? She's as dumb as a rabbit. She's not even talented either.

I have always said it from the onset that he's quite deep and was just using his playful look as a decoy. His playboy ways was spoilt by Mercy though. He could have been a top contender.
