As an avid people watcher and social experiment enthusiast, I watched a segment of the Frood-Esther love melodrama circa 2 to 4 a.m. that left me a little ashen-faced- felt almost like a child caught peeping through the neighbours' keyhole, rightly so because Esther was so camera conscious that I felt like a peeping, Tom. So this compelling quirky love story finally crawled to the one and a half base; there was a lot of touching under the sheets. At a point Esther nodded in affirmation and Frodd slid downwards under the sheets, and I’m almost certain had a mouthful of Esther’s booobies before the Camera got as uncomfortable as I was and swiveled away from them. Understandably, the camera never went close to them again for the next two hours while rotating between the drooling and snoring housemates.

Point is: BB is a social experiment and the contestants like the rest of us are flawed. However unlike these contestants, none of us have lived in a confined space with total strangers in our faces all day without any exits to escape their drama, and with hundreds of cameras and microphones trying to capture our every thought process, words, facial expressions, and actions. These people are humans not machines. There are a lot of emotional, psychological and sexual conflicts we are not privy to going on internally and otherwise. I’ve watched live sex (with no duvet) on BB Mzanzi, BB Brazil and BB Finland to mention a few. But to the sentimental, judgemental and hypocritical Nigerian every movement under the duvet automatically translates to sex, pre-intimacy maybe, but definitely not sex. Actual coitus occurs when the res is in rea, and you can’t see shiiit under the duvet or can you?

So before the bloggers take their butcher’s knives to this meat and pare it to the bare bone, stop judging these people rather empathize with them. Some of the comments here are outrightly disgusting. I understand that trolling is now a national part-time, still… Please drop your moral lenses and watch BB for what it truly is- a social experiment. See these people only as the test subjects they are who might be different individuals outside these confined spaces and under different circumstances. If you are incapable of doing that watch for its entertainment value alone, but keep your judgment to yourself. Sucks that some of them will come out to read the disgusting falsehood peddled against them.

So did Esther allow Frodd a guy she allegedly loathes to have access to her body just to provide entertainment content to a sleeping audience because she wants to survive eviction or are their elements to their story that we missed? Watch, think and try to empathize. That is one way to understand human behavior.

I find it quite mind boggling when I read that Esther is the man in the relationship. Pray tell, how does a man act in a relationship? Esther's attitude towards Frodd is not the way a man should be in a relationship. And if the tables were turned and Esther was really a man, it would have been a more painful sight to see a woman being treated the way Frodd is.

There's nothing about it. It's all banters from both sides. Get a humour class please. If you're looking for a toxic relationship in that hous, look deeper into the house and stop projecting your imagination on Esther. Esther has never said any nasty words to Frodd. All they do is joke around.

I'm not writing Frodd as the devil. I was just saying he wasn't a total saint in the whole thing and we know it's the truth. It's Esther who's got the worst of the hate on the street so it's normal to see me defend her. I have defended Frodd so many times on here too.

Agreed! She expressed that when Ebuka questioned her during the life show. The contention here is that after she decided to know him she kept on talking to him in a condescending disrespectful manner which is the real reason people are somewhat on her case.

Even the housemates noticed it and questioned him about it.

The snide condescending way she talks to him has suddenly reduced by 95% after her being nominated.

Maybe he did. I actually think his game became intense on the night Esther presented Frodd's portrait and was praising his lips and hair cos Nelson was visibly shaking and got nervous. At some point, he even turned away from the whole thing. Since then, he stopped eating Frodd's food and kept on getting into Esther's head.

But prior to that, there was nothing like that. Nelson was okay with the whole thing. He just didn't like the fact that Frodd was going on and on about everything.

I went from not even knowing she was there in the first three days, to complaining about her lime-ey face and condescending attitude, to disliking her whatever with Nelson to pieces...then when Nelson left and I started seeing her with Frodd, I saw she has a sense of humour (even if it’s somehow) and is smart. My write up has cleared my mind finally on why Esther should leave this Sunday. As entertaining as Froddster is, it is a toxic situation for both parties. Frodd will sit up once Esther bounces. The guy is too good to lose and I've crawled back to support him.

There's nothing toxic in it. In fact, Esther has made him into a better person. She was the one who advised him to talk to Ike, Sir Dee and several others. They have been good together since their first mishaps.

That was early into the game, so I'm still on point. And yes, Esther could have avoided Frodd but she was seen with him several times. I think that was the reason Frodd assumed the whole thing and went to sleep on her bed unsolicited and touched without asking her.

Funny enough Frodd and Esther situation is more of real story than anything else. A guy woos a lady, the lady says no especially when he's being extra but the guy keeps persisting and won't desist, the lady gets annoyed and tries every means to get him off her back but he won't listen. Eventually, the lady tries to give the guy a chance after everything.

Its was irritating and annoying with the way Esther had been speaking to Frodd and even speaking about him yo other house mates.

People were watching and are/were irritated. Her rejecting Frodd had long forgotten. Its not a must a girl must agree when toasted, everyone understands that.

Even with what she was doing, people were even more annoyed with Frodd for allowing himself to be talked to like that, that he wasn't even smart enough to realise he being tolerated and even used. Love the excuse

It's not like the camera man showed us everything in the house, we only got a glimpse of the blackmail hence only Esther knew what she passed through hence her defensive approach.
