The popular American singer might have landed into another fresh trouble, according to latest reports.

Trey Songz was accused recently of bumping a woman’s car and her hand during a heated argument that ensued between the two at the time when they were in their respective cars. According to the police, the shocking incident took place around midnight on Thursday. After the woman’s car was hit by Trey Songz, she came out to confront him. The singer allegedly hit her hand and vehicle before he took off in his car.

The woman eventually reported the incident to the police as hit-and-run. According to further reports, she refused medical attention for her injuries. So far, no one can really say what caused the argument between the two. Also, it doesn't really look like they knew each other before the incident. The team managing Trey Songs had denied the accusation leveled against the singer by the woman in question.

The miscreants also splashed the remaining part of the Porsche Panamera S with white paint, while pouring a sawdust-like material right on top of it. We are yet to identify the owner of this expensive German supercar and why they chose to destroy it with belated April Fools prank.

Undoubtedly, fixing this £100k Porsche will cost a lot of money and it will incur huge debt on the pocket of the owner or the insurance company. Either of the two parties will be paying thousands in getting a new paint over it and a minimum of £400 for a new set of wheels.

Surprisingly, the Metropolitan police spokesperson denied any report of vandalism of any Porsche worth that amount to the authorities. Not to forget in 2017, a similar case happened when a £90k Range Rover was sprayed with the words ‘cheater’, ‘liar’. And ‘i hope she was worth it’.

We understand that drunk drivers often drive recklessly, enough to cause mayhem on the road. In so many cases, drunk drivers had either jeopardized their lives or that of the other people using the road. But what makes this particular story strange is that the Ukrainian drunk driver crashed his car into a MiG-29 jet fighter.

According to report, the unfortunate incident took place in the Vasilkov, where an engineer driving under the influence of alcohol drove his Volkswagen Touran onto the airfield and rear ended a Jet fighter that was at the time being towed.

The jet fighter with a twin-turbo engine following the collision went up into flames. Though the information is a bit hazy but from the pictures shared online, we could see wrecked thirst nozzles and a scorched tail.

Of course we don't expect the VW Touran to go unscathed after crashing into a jet fighter. The windshield of the vehicle was smashed while the hood and grille also suffered severe damage. Fortunately, no death or serious injury was recorded. The driver of the Volkswagen car only sustained minor injuries from the crash.

While we can't say for now the full extent of the damage on the aircraft, the driver of this Touran will have a lot of time to explain to the authorities why he got drunk and crashed his car into a MiG-29 private jet. He is reportedly facing many charges as a result of the recent event.

Getting your Italian supercar towed away for defaulting on insignificant tax payment is baffling and sounds impossible but it’s far from a fairytale. A Lamborghini Aventador was flagged down during a routine traffic stop by the officers of the Wight police department recently. Surprisingly, the driver behind the wheel did not make a fuss about this stop as he was parked his car by the side of the road.

We could call this a hunch considering the Lamborghini didn't commit any traffic rule enough to be on the police radar or red flag. The police on the Isle of Wight, an island off the south coast of England wouldn’t let this insanely fast supercar worth over $300k slide as they pulled it over from their unmarked BMW X5.

Upon discovery, the owner of the $300k+ Lamborghini Aventador was found guilty of not paying road tax since last year. The police had no choice but to seize and load this supercar onto the back of the flatbed

In England, the law requires that you pay more road tax as an owner of an exotic car, considering the high level of emissions produced by these cars. Such applies to owning an Aventador SVR and other expensive models, where it is expected of you to pay an initial tax fee of £2,175, but subsequent payment of £150 to the government.

If you are an owner of a supercar that costs as much as 6 figures, it will be required of you to add an extra £325 to the subsequent payment. The California highway patrol revealed recently that they had nabbed a driver illegally plying the carpool lane with the assistance of the most realistic dummy they have come across in their lives.

The Toyota Tacoma was pulled over by Officer S. Sulinger after the vehicle was flagged by Officer Rodrigo Jimenez. Officer Jimenez revealed that when he saw the Toyota Tacoma with the tinted passenger window and the way the driver appeared after rolling down the window, he knew something was fishy.

From the images shared on Facebook by the CHP, it shows how realistic the dummy looks. The dummy was even wearing a Cleveland baseball cap and reading glasses. One could even spot facemask and wrinkles on his face. Ordinary person would have fallen for this trick.

Well, according to Officer Jimenez, the dummy’s quietness seemed awkward, and one of the reasons why he suspected the whole event. When they confronted the drive of the car, he revealed that he has been driving with the mannequin for more than a year now without being caught.

The officers revealed that the recent case wasn’t the only time such would happen but it was by far the most realistic dummy. Other cases
were when people tried to use a smaller mannequin or blanket in a baby seat to sneak into the carpool lane.

Jimenez said:

“I thought I’d seen them all, but I guess not. This is something that’s straight out of the log ride at Knotts Berry Farm or Disneyland.”

The driver of this Toyota Tacoma is likely to face a minimum fine of $400 prior to his latest encounter on the road with the California Highway Patrol officer. The dummy on the other hand wasn’t seized. Such creativity would have been better used for something more less of a violation. All the same, well play!

From the outside, the Nissan GT-R is decorated with a bespoke body kit complete with intricate handmade engravings. Also on the exterior design, there are many coats of gold-coloured paint sprayed over the chrome-finished panels. The amount of work put into the outside makes the car go for an asking price of $550,000.

Aside from the bespoke body, the Nissan GT-R sits on a set of black and chrome wheels. There is a custom wing at the back with swan uprights and a lowered suspension. There is no way you wouldn't steal many glances if you are lucky enough to see it live.

The custom company also went on to upgrade its performance. The GT-R is now fitted with a V6 3.8-liter twin turbocharged engine with a generative output of 820 horsepower. There is also the titanium exhaust system fitted on the car as we speak.

The cabin hasn’t been left out of these modifications. It has also been exposed to some touches like unique Recaro bucket seats and several accents finished in chrome, in areas such as air vents, center console, air vent shrouds and the door handles. From the latest report reaching us, more than 45 exotic supercars were stopped by Hong Kong police during the weekend for a suspected attempt to engage in street racing.

The authorities swung to action last Sunday by pulling over the expensive supercars after they spotted them moving westbound at high speeds along the Island Eastern corridor expressway. The Hong Kong police had to shut the two lanes to stop each and every ride within the fleet.

Derek Ngai Chi-ho, who is the Eastern district councilor, revealed to the media that they have had several complaints from the residents of noise disturbance caused by people racing their cars in their neighborhood.

He further revealed that the activities have been going on for some time now, and it mostly gets more severe in the midnights or during the holidays. The issue was also raised at the district council meetings, according to the councilor.

From the video, we could spot some of the supercar brands that were pulled over by the police. The supercars comprised many Porsche and Ferrari models, a couple of Nissan GT-Rs, several Lamborghinis, McLarens and a Mercedes-AMG GT S.

It was also reported that one of the Nissan GT-Rs was towed away after suspicions were raised that it had been modified illegally. The Hong Kong police also issued defective vehicles up to 9 cars; demand they undergo inspection before being cleared to ply the roads again.

The Hong Kong police had received several reports about this street racing for many years now. From all indications, it seems it is more serious, considering the amount of speeding offense tickets issued by the police in recent times.

It’s fun watching street racing on TV but it's less fun when it becomes a tragic event in real life. Just recently, two teens lost their lives while another sustained serious injuries from a street racing crash last Sunday in northwest Houston. This information was revealed by the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

According to the deputies, a 22 year-old driver identified as Andrew Mock was charged with 2 counts of manslaughter and 1 count of aggravated assault/reckless driving with serious injury to the body. Surprisingly, the deputies disclosed that his charges could be increased with time.
The incident that claimed lives, made emergency crews to approach the scene of the accident around 9pm in the 14900 block of Northwest Freeway close to West Little York Road.

From what the deputies further said, the young driver with a yellow 2018 Chevrolet Camaro was driving at high speed westbound when he hit the left-rear of a black-coloured 2017 Chevrolet Malibu. The collision from what the deputies said, made the Malibu veer off the road and went crashing into pedestrians using the sidewalk.

The unfortunate incident happened so fast that the pedestrians had little or no time to escape. From further investigation, one 35 year-old man identified as Roger Glover lost his life in this event. We learnt that his family had already set up a GoFundMe account to pay for his funeral expenses.

While revealing information about this newly unveiled concept car, the chief executive of Sony, Kenichiro Yoshida, disclosed:

An auto crash involving 2 vehicles on the Jos-Abuja Road, has been reported to us here, which has left 2 people dead and other 1 injured.

A petroleum product tanker and a Man Diesel truck were transporting some flammable products when the mishap occurred and were immediately engulfed in fire. This fire incident however resulted to the victims getting burnt beyond recognition.

From what we learnt, the accident occurred on Sunday, leading to total road blockage by Ganawuri Hills, forcing motorists to change their routes.

According to Mr. Andrew Bala, who happens to be the Public Education Officer of Plateau State’s FRSC, made a confirmation of this unfortunate incident.

He said:

“A crash occurred on Sunday at the Riyom Ganawuri area around 9.20am and it involved two articulated vehicles, a Man Diesel and a tanker.

“The fatal crash involved six male adults, out of which one was injured and two were burnt beyond recognition as a result of an explosion of the flammable materials the vehicles were conveying.

“There is a total blockage of the road at the Ganawuri Hills as a result of the wreckage from the collision.”

An order has just been issued by the Lagos State Magistrate Court over the possible arrest and arraignment of Adeyemi Fashola, a popular Nigerian Musician known by his stage name ‘Naira Marley’. This court order came as a result of case of alleged car theft levied against him.

How Naira Marley was involved in car theft allegation
From what we learnt, Mr. Tajudeen Elias, who happens to be the Chief Magistrate, has ordered Sergeant Sunday Idoko, the Investigative Police Officer (IPO), in charge of the case to make the suspect, Naira Marley, available in court on the scheduled adjournment date for next hearing, which is 21st December 2019.

The two brothers of the musicians and cousin had already made an appearance at court prior to the car and phone theft.

The defendants including Babatunde Fashola (24), Kunle Obere (22) and Idris Fashola (24), are all facing 4-count charges of stealing, assault and obstruction of the arrest of Naira Marley.

Mr. Tajudeen Elias granted the 3 defendants a bail of ₦500,000 with 2 sureties in like sum. This offense according to the prosecutor, ASP Edet Okoi, was committed by the 3 defendants at Eko Hotel Roundabout on 16 December in Victoria Island, Lagos.

ASP Edet Okoi revealed that the 3 defendants were with Naira Marley in a motorcade when they stole the Toyota Camry with registration number ‘FEE 120 AA’ worth ₦1.8 million and an IPhone X5 valued at ₦330,000. These stolen properties according to him are owned by a man identified as Mr. Adeleke Ademola. He also made it known that the complainant was severely assaulted by these suspects.

The police ASP revealed the trio prevented the police from making an arrest on Naira Marley, while performing their duties.

He said:

“One of the vehicles in the musician’s motorcade hit the complainant’s vehicle from the back while he was throwing out money from his vehicle to his fans.

“When the complainant alighted from his vehicle to inspect the damage, Obere entered into the complainant’s Camry and drove it off with the motorcade.“ Ademola reported to the police and the vehicle was tracked to where it was parked at Jakande Crescent, Oniru, in Lagos.

“When the police arrived at the location in company with the complainant, Naira Marley and his boys started beating the complainant.”

A group of boys obstructed the police from arresting the musician but they were able to apprehend the three defendants,”

To him, these offences contravened sections 172, 411, 287 and 112 of the 2015 Lagos State Criminal Law.

Naira Marley’s reaction to the car theft allegation
Prior to the order placed on Nigerian music star, Naira Marley, to make an appearance before the court on an allegation of car theft, the musician has taken to Twitter to respond this.

He wrote:

The Lagos State Government has just revealed the date for the open bidding for interested firms in the construction of Fourth Mainland Bridge.

Gbenga Omotosho, the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, disclosed this during a public address with the press. He said this will be part of the outlined activities in marking the current Governor’s 200 days in office.

He made it known that both local and international companies have already shown interest in the construction of the proposed Fourth Mainland Bridge. This according to him will be done during the ceremony to be hosted by the current administration in the state.

Omotosho further said Sanwo-Olu administration is giving special attention to key areas such as transportation, infrastructure and traffic management, in curbing the incessant gridlocks within the state.

He said:

“I boldly state here that the THEMES agenda of the Sanwo-Olu government is on course and will be achieved. The speed of projects implementation has now increased, especially since the last 100 days.

“The government is leveraging on the private sector, which controls about 80 per cent of the state’s Gross Domestic Product. The sector is crucial in the government’s drive to bridging the infrastructure gap to build the city of our dream,”

The Commissioner further said:

“Access Bank is partnering the state government in the upgrading of roads in Oniru under PIIP arrangement. To bring relief to our people, we will be setting the process in place to construct the Fourth Mainland Bridge. Next Wednesday is the final day for the submission of expression of interest. We will be unveiling the process that will lead to the realisation of the project on that day.”

Prior to the 200 days in office for the Governor of Lagos state, Omotosho said this current dispensation has kept promises made before the election despite the challenges faced. Similarly, the state government has issued a warning to religious centres, property owners, management of events and other related bodies to refrain from encouraging severe traffic gridlocks on roads within their locations.

Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, who happens to be the Commissioner for Transportation, recently in a statement, read the riot act to all concerned organizations. To him, all places of attraction should desist from any activity that could cause obstruction of free flow of traffic anywhere in the state.

It was a very unforgettable day for eye witnesses along Benin-Ore route yesterday, 11 December, 2019 when all the 18 passengers that boarded Peace Mass Transit reportedly lost their lives in a ghastly accident along the road.

From what we learnt, the bus belonging to Peace Mass Transit (PMT), with the number ‘1259’ was conveying 18 people to their destination when it got involved in a road mishap, leaving no survivor.

Earlier today, a rumour was spreading like wildfire on a possible prohibition of Uber and Bolt at the Lagos airports. As we write, the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has debunked any claim of such as passengers at airports are allowed to use any means of transportation upon arrival or departure anywhere in the country.

Amidst these speculations, a Twitter user yesterday tweeted, saying:

“So @FAAN_Official has issued a directive via this billboard to state that @UberNigeria @Boltapp_ng amongst others are not allowed to pick up passengers from the airport.

“The fine for this ranges from 10,000 naira. Please be aware.”

So far, the agency in the person of Henrietta Yakubu, who happens to be the General Manager of FAAN, has refuted such claim. Yakubu disclosed this during a statement sent to the media house in the country. According to the GM, the agency has nothing to do with the restriction notice on the billboard.

She said:

“A group of persons did that without recourse to FAAN management. Please disregard. Members of the public are free to be dropped at our airports by whatever means of transportation,”

A passenger identified as Tayo, while speaking to a news outfit, also revealed his personal experience with Bolt. He said:

“When I arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Saturday, I requested a taxi through Bolt. After I located the driver and got in the car, he pleaded that he wanted to delete the app from his phone,” Tayo said.

“When I asked why he said they were not allowed to pick up passengers from the airport and if he is caught he would have to pay a fine. He said the airport taxi drivers are against them.”

The continued patronage of Uber and Bolt around airport area is due to the prices of their fare, which according to users are relatively cheaper.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) recently made it known that every arrangement has been concluded to introduce a mobile device, which is capable of tracking and issuing tickets electronically to offenders of traffic laws within Lagos State.

Last Friday, Isaac Adetimiro, who happens to be the Deputy General Manager of LASTMA, disclosed this at an organized forum for the explanation of the functionality of the device, in Lagos. The DGM revealed the device, known as Traffic Management Solution (TMS), was actually meant for the capturing of pictures and videos of series of traffic violations as they occur in real time, without posing any harm to the traffic officers.

Isaac believes that this technology is needed to effectively and efficiently ensure a free flow of traffic without any form of obstruction, through interaction of the traffic officers and offenders on the road.

He said with the use of this mobile device, the state traffic officers will not need to engage traffic offenders physically or verbally on the road. LASTMA officers will only use it to capture videos and pictures as proof of evidence of possible traffic law violation.

The LASTMA boss disclosed that the time, date and location of the violation would be easily captured by the device, which will therein transfer the data to processing centre for examination. This act according to him, will guarantee openness while fining violators for their offenses.

He said:

“Captured violations are reviewed in our Violation Processing Centre to verify beyond any doubt that a traffic violation was committed and that the correct corresponding value of the legal fine is attached to it.

“This significantly reduces erroneous violation notifications being sent to vehicle owners. Anytime a violation is processed against any vehicle, the owner gets an SMS notification.
“The violators have 48 hours to either make payment or challenge the said violation at the court of law. If any of these is not done, action and enforcement will be taken against the violators.”

According to him, up to 3,000 eligible residents of Lagos State will be employed at the Violation Processing Center at the kick of the new policy. These violations will be processed and saved into a central data storage bank for optimal safety. This stored information, to him, will be taken whenever the need arises, for viewing picture and video evidence, violation verification or for the payment of fines attached to the offense.

There is also provision for every car owner to review the violation at the nearest traffic court, wherein the ruling and decision of the court on the issue will be ultimate, in case it is being challenged by any offender in the court. He implored car owners to check their vehicle’s status via free online checks, client app and short codes. The DG believes that this device will help in resolving the prevalent traffic gridlock across the busy parts of the state.

The TMS will also remove cases of bribery common with traffic officers, as all payments will be made electronically.
