Hello guys, am thinking of modifying my business due to the current challenges we are having but am not sure how it will go down with the Youwin monitoring team should they visit me. So my question is this. If Youwin is to monitor our business for 12 months according to the contract we signed with FMF, when did the 12 months counting start from?

s election is just days away, many are already singing victory songs because of online poll result. However, Online polls will differ from march 28 poll result because

1. Some People without PVC have Internet enabled phones hence can vote online but won't dream of doing so on 28th

2. To many Nigerians, it is dangerous to go near polling booths but same cannot be said of sitting in your bedroom and punching away on your phone.

3. With the Internet, one won't be exposed to the harsh weather conditions as will likely be the case on 28. This will affect the number of eligible voters that will vote.

4. With the internet, you are sure to start voting once you make up your mind to do so but am yet to hear of any election in Nigeria where the patience of the voters are not first tested through the delayed arrival of election materials. I really can't vouch for the patience meter level of my fellow youth who constitute the bulk of online voters.

5. Influence of bags of rice may not be evident on online polls but trust me, there is a reason it's done every 4years.

6. Nigerians in diaspora will vote and even go as far as "waiting for there votes to be counted" but .... Ok let me not say anything.

7. I have never heard of invalid votes on polls online but this is a must see come 28.

8. Many eligible voters cannot read and write hence their votes which is not captured in online polls can also be "stolen" by the people they might engage to direct them to the party of their choice.

Honiepie24: nice thread,hahaha let me laugh b4 sharing my xperience.i nd mum(a pharmacist) decided to rare birds,we started wit broilers and got 3staffs(a vet nd two attendants)we succeeded thru till 7 weeks,the birds where big nd healthy,i fink we started with 580birds,we gave them all meds nd cared for them even more than humans,bought d best of everyfin 4 dem.after week 7 dey started dyin lik mad,sometimes we lost as much as 15 a day,infact we even sold some 150naira to tell u hw bad it was.we bought feed in open van,gush it waz a big WACK! Hahaha we lost sooo much infact we are still owing from the loss.too bad,but we still wish to try again.

U employed a Vet in a virgin farm and still got dis result? Dat vet guy needs to explain what happened for real if he is worth his certificates

As an Agric Engineerin undergraduate, I had grown interest in farming long since primary skul. I raisedpoultry birds too. Last year, I started wit abt 4turkeys last year & 3 died as a result of overdose Dewormin mixture i gav dem. Dis year i bought upto12 7 weeks old turkeys in April nw only 4 remains.
I also raised 8broilers but to my surprise dy al died last week as a result of a severe widespread virus wit Coughin& inactiveness r part of d symptoms last.
Plz if any1 knw d kind of drugs 1 can use 2 cure n prevent dis in d future sud plz suggest.
Tho I'm plannin 2 visit a large scale farm dis weekend so dat i can knw aw dy practice over der. ThkQ OP.

Vaccination I guess is where u missed it. Do also ensure high plan of hygiene and u will soon be Smiling

lagbaja: Great decision. 4 things you must do to be successful as a vegetable farmer
1. make sure you have access to adequate water (you need at least 10,000 litres of water per day to irrigate 1 hectare)
2. Use a drip Irrigation system (buy emitter or drip tapes, that is what you will use to water the plants everyday and to also apply fertilizer straight to the roots. read about it)and a green house if you can afford one , it costs much but you wont regret the decision.
3. Get hybrid seeds. Tomatoes is the most lucrative. You can make over 50m on one hectare of land per annum if you do green house farming.

Animal Science-The course isn't marketable in a country like ours where people give no value to the life of animals.

If u are stupid enough 2add dis wen we are in a country dat offers no job after schooling, u r stupid enough 2do anything. Do u tnk Animal science is jus all abt protecting animal rights? What about creating jobs by opening animal farms.
