Wifey scored Listening-80, Reading-74, Speaking-65, Writing-88 in December.

Retook the test yesterday after a very vigorous preparation and got the following;

Listening-90, Reading-76, Speaking-90, Writing-90

Considering a rescore embarassed
Except the requirements of your schools are high... this score is good...

She should be ashamed of giving us an albino cum Hitler, thank God he's being tamed.
Later you'll claim you have sense. What's the correlation between albinism and the person of Nnamdi Kanu?
That's my problem with Nigerians. You say we are one Nigeria. Oya let Igbo man become president.... Never...... Ok then let them go...... No way. Anybody that tries to challenge the status quo is met with death... Saro Wiwa anyone?
As far as I'm concerned Nigeria can go to hell. I'm bothered about Nigerians now. Maybe Niger and North western Nigeria will merge one day. Lol

Oya recieve some sense in Amadioha's name. Iti Bolibo.

My guy I'll not lie to you. I believe that the elite deliberately put in place measures to dumb down the general population. If you are not careful by the time you are thru with NYSC your brilliant mind will be made dull and pliable so much that all you'll be after is your daily grub.

They have made us and we allowed ourselves to be deceived that there are no options but them. Look carefully at the political section, they are already subtly working on your minds and guess who are the ones helping them? Judas youths. After all it's a man's kinsfolk that will show his creditors the way to his hut.

Do not let the corrupt Nigerian system cave in your thinking. The beneficiaries of the status quo are smarter than we think they are. Don't let them outsmart you twice
Of course when I'm directed to a particular location, I try very hard to look in the other direction as well. Nigerian politicians are good at misinformation. After securing their futures overseas they come here and enact several idiosyncratic policies here. The sad thing is that they'll always have psychophants who'll support them unequivocally. It's a very sad epoch in Nigeria. The politicians are being very successful at dumbing down every sector of Nigeria. The biggest hit sector is the education sector. Graduates of universities cannot even produce logical arguments in support of any cause. When they're confronted they resort to abuses and curses. The so called intellectuals are even the worst. They shove a candidate on your necks then start regretting immediately. Where were their brains before? You then have all the prophets and prophesies that don't come to pass. We are extremely mentally lazy here. I'm just tired.

I guess this post won't reach fp. We like things that wouldn't force us to use our thinking caps too much. Maybe if I made a 'ten things' post more people would have been interested.
Nairaland GeneralWake Up Young People Of Naija by dossylvanus(op):
Happy new month Everyone. Hope this month will be a swell one for us all.

Anyway I want to talk to the young people today, about a topic that I'm concerned about; critical thinking.

I'm really pissed off that Nigerian youth don't even bother with this crucial skill.

In addition to other needed life skills, critical thinking will help in debunking so many myths and perceptions.

It is a lack of critical thinking that has not made younger people question older Nigerians who became rich purely through a corrupt patronage system and are now asking young people to work hard.

It is a lack of critical thinking that has made our female folk pests; they believe that men should die while providing for them.

It is a lack of critical thinking that has allowed us to hope, fast and pray for several decades without tangible results. We read motivational books and books that show how to make money but don't want to develop actual skills that will empower us.

It is a lack of critical thinking that has made us unreasonable when we talk about Nigeria, nationhood and the social contract. We don't even want to understand what anti government or separatist ideologies are about. We have encouraged the rise of demagogues and radicals with our lazy way of thinking.

It is the lack of critical thinking that has made us useless as a nation. It is the lack of critical thinking that has let us down; we have failed to be bold and look at the other alternatives on offer.

It is a lack of critical thinking that has allowed religions devoid of the mind to thrive. We earnestly believe that prayers will build a 10 Lane express way, or something like that. This mental laziness needs to be abolished.

Look at the last presidential elections in Nigeria . There were other candidates on the ballot, bearing names such as Chekwas, Sonaiya, Okoye, Salawu, Galadima. We did not give any of these a look-in, but instead fell into the trap of binary thinking.

Please read fully before you conclude that this is a bashfest. Truth is, saying that Buhari is running a bad government, does not automatically mean that I’m saying that Jonathan ran a good government.

Sadly, too many Nigerians are binary thinkers, and that is why we are still seeing some of the frankly, ludicrous arguments making the rounds on social media.

We replaced a government that was performing at 20% with one that is performing at 5%, and that is because we were binary in thinking.

What happened to the protest vote? Why did we, when the APC presented to us, a frankly bad candidate,
not coalesce around another party? Rather, we
bought into the hype, gambled, and now, we may
well have lost it all.

We really need to get it right. Even the battle between the devil and God starts from our minds.

Feed your mind.
Let's help Nigeria move beyond the middle ages.

Thanks for reading this long tirade. Over and out.

Yea Kathique... You have from now till 11th Nov to apply, for maximum consideration!... Buh pls you need A in either physics or Mathematics in order to be eligible... Its main bases they're using to evaluate someone's eligiblity; mostly the Engineering courses, don't know about others... I got the information directly from them!
What do you mean by maximum consideration?

serious? University of Edinburgh too? Wow can still apply for the pre assessment test is there still time?
They said they needed only first class for their PG application, but I have a 2.1. I did the test and I am eligible, so It does not hurt to try.
You should be fast about it though.
