That foreign rice is cheaper than local rice ,other than Ofada,is a big lie.

Ofada is more expensive because of its limited production.

Foreign rice is more expensive because of difficulty in its importation, and very high custom duties.

Our local producers are also importing the paddy.

In the Nigerian context, a Chief of Defence Staff is not that powerful.
Soldiers don't answer to him directly.
They answer to the Chief of Army Staff.
The Chief of Army Staff in turn answers to the Commander in Chief, Mr President.
In Nigeria, CoDS is somewhat a figurehead position.
But if the CoAS cooperates with him and truly respects him, both of them can stop the killing spree in North Central.
The solution is to have a division or battalion that answers to him directly, without the interference of the CoAS.
He can use the soldiers in the division or battalion for special operations anywhere he sees fit.
