Politics › Re: Olisa Agbakoba Applauds President Tinubu On Floating The Naira And Subsidy by Dotherightthing: 11:22pm On Jun 14, 2023 |
Flets: All tinubu has done is to set up Nigerian masses for absolute and perpetual suffering.
Why the urge to quickly float the naira without plans? Do we have sufficient USD to flood the market and meet the FX demands in the near term? If people cannot walk into the bank and buy USD without filling forms A, M etc.... its only little time before USD exchanges for 1000 naira
On fuel subsidy, Why should the masses bear the responsibility of the inefficiency of the FG?,
why can’t the FG protect the boarders to ensure subsidized PMS does not get to neighboring countries?
Why has the FG not prosecuted and jailed anyone involved in the subsidy fraud to stop others from doing so?,
The claim that subsisdy is a burden is fallacy cos the subsidizing the actual consumption of less than 10million liters per day is not a burden compared to the FG’s current fraudulent claim of 66million liters per day. Why not a gradual removal of the subsidy?
Where is the savings from Diesel and kerosene subsidy and what has it been used for?
The student loan bill is a plot by the Tinubu led FG t to stop funding tertiary education in Nigeria leading to the end all education subsidy. Who do you think are the final beneficiaries of these moves, same criminals who will end up looting the funds meant to fund the tertiary education.
What exactly is the role of the Nigerian FG if they relinquish every responsibility to the masses? What sacrifice has the political class made in all these mess? Have their allowances being reduced? Any efforts at stopping the lootings?
All Tinubu has done is to transfer responsibilities to the already suffering Nigerian Masses to ensure there is enough for him and his goons that supported him into office Just shut up, abeg! |

Ogene001: Chinese industrialization without local content? Una no wise at all. Our overpriced land is used for erecting decent multistorey appartments while slumish brown roofs overtake your towns How can there be industrialization not be local content U dull gan o Also, what about the jobs and businesses that will spring up as a result. And then the taxes that will be paid to government at all levels. Come on, this is good. Of what use is multistorey apartments with no occupants Your people are the larger occupant of the browns roofs in the SW They love them die |

ahaz: Oga come to my place and see your people selling Agbo..infact the population of Agbo sellers can fill an entire local govt. We leave to other places cos it's our nature to do businesses anywhere we can not that your flood ravaged hamlets with red roofs are anything better than the smallest village in the east. Your.people travel out to other states as parasites, you contribute nothing, you give nothing, only Agbo sellers, archac mechanics and tathered looking fellows driving jallopies they call Taxi...notting more. Well, those people are there to meet a need that your fellow Igbos CAN NEVER meet. Whether you like it or not, they are cashing out and doing great things back home. And they are the only sort of Yorubas you can find in the yeast - artisans and traditional medicine practitioners Other than they, Yorubas have no business in the barren unproductive land But your people flood the SW for the peaceful, calm, bubbly and sweet life that goes beyond sparcely situated storey buildings in a dull hostile environment that is obtainable in the villages in the yeast except for holidays |

Ogene001: A place that sells N1bn per plot and the villagers can afford it is definitely not barren. You are being recolonized because of your laziness Forget it! The yeast is barren!! Even Igbos don't want to stay there, You overvalue useless land so much so that no reasonable outsider is interested. Who is lazy? Maybe you need a refresher with this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/3918290/yorubas-most-industriousrichest-educated-tribeMy grandfather was offered land in Oshodi FREE OF CHARGE in the early days Look at what Oshodi is today. Ogene001: Ndi IGR. Educated iliterates. Dash everybody land and be celebrating artificial progress that doesn't reflect on common people It is better than your NGN1Bn per plot land that ONLY IGBOS from the SAME VILLAGE will ever buy No wonder the yeast is barren, unproductive land. No outsider owns any land in Yoruba land. It was actually LEASED to them |

Ogene001: Will it stop Igbos from pressing their necks one on one on the streets, to the extent that they are searching for protection laws? Let them find consolation in politics it's allowed Who is pressing whose neck You cannot have political power without economic power! Tinubu is president today because he was able to amass a huge warchest economically. Over the years, Nigeria's economy has firmly been in the hands of Yorubas while we played opposition politics. Now, we are interested in political power. And we having it. Continue deluding yourself |
