These common men(driver, security, messenger - level 5 personnel) who earn the 30k basic wage are living in their own houses and sponsoring their children through school.

By the way, 30k is the basic salary(other allowances come in) of the lower civil servants...the security men, messengers, drivers etc etc

Ofcourse we get by through corrupt practices. Our girls add Olosho as side hussling, an average civil servants demands for bribe to do a simple task, tenants bypasses pre-paid meters to use electricity the list goes on. Corruption and impunity everywhere.

The poorer we are, the less voice the people will have. And that's why there's an astronomical gap between the masses and the political class.
