It costs over one million naira to transport a 40ft container from Lagos to Onitsha at the height of the Lagos port crises! During Jonathan's regime, it was plus-minus 200k!
Since the end of the war, through vindictive politics, importers in the east have to import through Lagos, then truck by land the containers to the eastern hinterlands! Just as we have to come to Lagos to fly out of the country, which has lead to many deaths by accidents...

What this means is that in most cases, imported goods are costlier in the east than say Lagos and its environs. It also means endless accidents and deaths on the Lagos-Benin-Onitsha road... , One of the busiest roads in the country! So how did the brood of vipers running this country manage to prioritize cheaper transportation for Niger republic citizens as more important to that of the most commercially active section of the country and still have the effontery to defend that with a straight face? Why exactly is this government dragging her feat on building rail tracks in the east?

Thank for you pointer. The thing is, what I have limited knowledge of, I will not normally engage in the discourse.
I have my reservations about Sunni/Wahabbism too but I've not really gone so deep in the research.
What I do know is that, Tehran constitutes grave danger to others as they feel cornered and threatened; while it's also an established fact that they give active and tacit support to supposed dissidents anywhere in the world, especially those that follow their doctrines

I don't know why all this chest beating. When their general was killed , it was done with precision . When they retaliated they can't even properly guide their Missle..they ended up misfiring..hitting a plane that caused no harm. They couldn't even cause harm to USA soldiers location. Assuming USA went for such retaliation .what do you think will happen?

The language of ebonyians is different from the Igbo language..
When ebonyi man speaks, Abia, Imo, Enugu, Anambra man will not understand and same way ebonyi man will not understand the language of the later, vice versa.
But the only understandable language uses by both tribe is the centre Igbo language which they (ebonyians) learnt..

We also have seen lots of occasions where Igbos called ebonyians osu...

For the jjc on this forum, let me enlighten you a bit. Now on this streets, there are two types of south east.

The Nairaland South East and The original South East.

I could have called it the imaginary south east but Nairaland seems to approve of it. The Nairaland south east is an imaginary south east that is formed by enemies of igbo land in their heads. They form it there or even dream it and then later come to Nairaland and post whatever they dreamt or imagined. In their heads, south east is always bad. They can come up with different stories to support their foolishness. They're not Igbos, but their profile is filled with more igbo threads than the actual Igbos on this forum.

The original South East is far from the reach of it's enemies. It's developing everyday and more and more igbos investing in it.

I remember during Christmas, one of the enemies of Igbos created a thread on how south east would be empty and how IMO state is no longer buzzing with people for Christmas. I laughed. Is it not the same IMO state I'm currently in? During Christmas period, all hotels where filled up. No outsider can find a single room in any hotel in IMO state. Our guests who came for my uncle's burial had to sleep in our house. People filled up everywhere, and you can see people coming into the state with their bags and boxes. That's the same IMO state that one buffalo is talking rubbish about.My brother who's based in warri came back and was surprised on how development is filling the place. He said he's been hearing negative things about IMO state and he didn't expect to see this devel of development. I told him that it's the work of our enemies
