Since she was pronounced "officially billionaire" recently, Igbos started claiming her as Igbo but I am not surprised. They claim everybody including George Floyd whom they organized funeral for, in Imo State and Donald Trump (a complete white man) whom they gave the name Okechukwu.

To think that Igbos are the same people that are insulting some tribes as 'slaves' in the 21st century, now they don't mind that George Floyd and Rihanna are descendants of slaves.

This thing is becoming so shameful and embarrassing to even non Igbos, that in the whole world, it is only Igbo people that are online and everywhere else laying claim to who is Igbo and who is not Igbo. Trust me even if Rihanna comes out tomorrow to categorically deny the claim, some Igbos will still feed the fat lie to their generation yet unborn.

Now back to the matter. There is nothing like "having" Igbo ancestry when the supposed people don't just see themselves as Igbo but detest Igbo. I won't even talk about the Ijaw aspect because it sounds absurd. Besides are Ijaws Indigenous to the place they occupy in the first place. If you know their history you'll realise they are just Fulani in the southern side of the contraption.
My point is, a Country is formed by people united by culture and Ideology. If any different people should join, they should do so as a distinct independent nation with terms and conditions duly revised and agreed on.
That is, if by chance Ijaw should join (which I will campaign against till they leave) they will come as a distinct Ijaw Nation with clear boundary and a degree of autonomy.
Anything else is Nigeria with another name
