please i need a fast advice, i ordered somethings on aliexpress and i just got a call from ikeja postoffice that i should bring id card and then i will pay for sea or something like. please am i suppose to pay for anything especially when it is less than 20$. if i am, how much. i need a reply urgently. thanks

Well, to my best of knowledge, if u receive a call from post office that u have a package like that, all u need to do is to take ur I'd card there to claim ur goods. Most times, they tell u that u will pay certain post charges like that which should not be more than 500....anything apart from that, I should know that it is out of other and act smart.....I hope this will help u.

9free: Just search around your area for dealers of satelite decoders or installers, tell them you have Q-Sat but your DSTv channels are not showing image.
Just shell out extra 2K naria and your problem is solved.
There are other ways of going about it but the above is the ''quickest''.

claycares: It's very easy. Just ensure your phone is tether-capable. Most Android phones have this feature. Go to create hotspot, tether or find an icon within the Android ecosystem to create hotspot and follow the steps. For me, I use a Bold 9900 and it has Mobile Hotspot.

yinkard4me: d camp is one of d most beautiful camp in d country after jigawa n katsina NYSC camp.. my own PPA is in Sango ota, Am lecturing in a polytechnic, d cost of leaving here is moderate. Rent is expensive here but I was given accommodation..... most PPA provides accommodation for Corpers n salary except Ure posted to a govt firm or school in abeokkuta.. As per private schools, its ccmpullsoorry dey provide u wit accommodation n most of dem pays. Trust me, ve never been to a state dat have such numbers of schools like ogun state... Am really enjoying my service year... All d best

martyns200: Congrats, well accomodation depends on where u posted after your 3wks, buh if posted to abk south which is the happening place and where everyone wants to be, accomodation there is on the high side even for one room,u should have up to 60k cos the agents fees are high ,and your ppa can't afford to get u accomodation cos of the high cost of living in abk

Anyway, I served in 2001. I had the connections "as someone earlier put it" and so I worked my posting to Abuja since that was were I lived with my family. I was also able to work my posting to Fed. Min. Of Women affairs cause I was pregnant during service and wanted a place I would be comfortable. Anyway, I was posted to the child development depertmanet and further to their work place Nursery and creche' behind the police head qtrs in Abuja. I had a very nice time there and I also learnt alot in that day care. I learnt alot about kids and that has helped in shaping me to be the kind of mother I am now. I never really liked kids while growing up, I was kinda spoilt so kids were like competition to me. But going and working in that place opened my eyes to alot of things about children and child handling. I learnt so much about kids, there temperaments, eating habits, learning abilities, thier differences and so much more. I thot it would be a good place to laze and sloth during my service year cause I didnt want stress but am a better person from the experiences I got from that place. When my son came, I could take him to work with me and it was soo nice spending all that time with him.

I know alot of people who had a hard time during thier service year and I feel for them. I thank God mine was not so bad and the experiences from that time has helped till date. It was not a waste of a year for me, it was a very good year for me.

After all the analysis from left and right, am really coming so scared as am waiting to me mobilized by feb or july...if "who u knw" usually goes a long way in determining once experience for that one year, I think I know God and now u "alheri". When you open your Notepad ++, the default file extension you're writing in is .txt , so now you save that page with the file extension .html . Until you save that page on the notepad ++ as .html you haven't started writing in html. So please. Do save that page on your notepad ++ first as an html file extension before continuing to add your html syntax and tags.

Clik on notpad ,
click on "File" @dtop left corna
select "save file as",
create a name endin it wif s".htm" or ".html" extention(i.e if i chose to name it "appmath" den ill have to ryt it dis way : "appmath.html" or "appmath.htm",
below dat, select "All files"
den clik save...
It takes u bak 2 d default notpad console...
Den u can type ur codes ther...
Note: u can chose 2 type ur codes b4 saving it, and vise...it all depends on u..
After ure done wif d typing, click
on d "start" bar @d extreme left of ur desktop and type d name of ur html file ,in dat case "appmath" ull c it der,have d logo of ur default browser...clik on it...and viola! Ur code wud b displayed on in ur browser...*dazall*

as much as i really appreciate this thread, i really need someone to answer this question for me. i dont seem to get some of the simple logic explained in the beginning of this training. my question is, how do i start an html page?...when i opened my notepad++, the outlook does not look like what was explained in the first page that an html page should look like. so i thought may be i have gotten sometin wrong.....pls can anybody clarify this to me in a simple terms and language?

dont panic bro, the same thin hapen to me once like that and i also use GT card. when it happened to me, i discovered that the problem is either as a result of the fact that there wasnt enough money on my accnt so satisfy the payment of the goods and the bank charges. or because the bank was suspicious of the transaction and refuses to release ur money for security reasons. but in my own case, when i contacted the bank, i was told that the transaction was declined because of the network down time and not for other reason. although the money was not released to aliexpress but moved from my main balance to ledger balance witch means that i can not cash it untill they reverse it back to my main balance......so what u should do now is check ur accnt balance whether the same tin happen to u, if so, simply forward the cancellation mail from aliexpress to cardservices@gtbank.com and include ur account number and name. if u do this, they will rectify the problem and ur money will be back on the main balance. so u can now reorder for the goods......if u need more help or if u dont understand what i just explained, pls forward any question to my mail ......ibdotkoko@gmail.com
