i got the usb izap and on saturday when the 1x guys couldn't connect i got about 80kb/s but now sometimes i reach 58kb/s but it is definately slower than the card

This is what i have been hitting at, this their USB modem is slower than the others and yet its the most expensive. Starcomms una dey fall my hand o!

When it comes to laptops i think its all about durability,support and second hand value. Ever tried getting a battery for a Sony Vaio or replacing the screen? I still think the tie is between HP and Dell.

There is an adapter like that. I actually was looking for one back then before Starcomms had the USB and the Express cards. Saw it in Ikeja for about 18k or so.

I use Virtual PC on my Windows Vista Ultimate and i have Server 2003, Windows XP. Very cool technology. I'll put up some screenshots later!

Starcomms is still far better than MTN despite all their short comings. The only Problem with starcomms is that their bandwidth is not evenly distributed.As for network connectivity its very reliable.

HiTV still have a long way to go in terms of packaging. Apart from the Premiership matches which they show,they have nothing to offer.Most of their stations are not clear,they repeat movies at will and some stations esp Hi sports1 and Hi sports 2 virtually run adverts half of the time. Its not as if i dislike anything nigerian but if they are to compete and hopefully knock DSTV out of Nigeria they have to get their act right.

The final performance was nice.But in the end, someone has to take home the money.

Iv been using Mozilla Firefox for about 3years running and i must it is really really convenient and flexible.With the tabbed browsing,addons,download manager support and session restore it really rocks but funny enough i am using google chrome to reply to this post!
