The rules of FFP tie the amount that clubs can spend on players to the revenue they generate. If Man City inflated their revenue using fake sponsorship deals, it is safe to state that they gamed FFP and gained undue advantage in the transfer market by being able to spend far more than they should have been able to. If at this point you can't see how being guilty of what they are charged with directly influenced their performance on the pitch and the titles they won, then I do not know what to tell you.

The charges do not even have direct connection with they won titles.
Have they ever filled more than 11 players on the pitch?
Have they ever been caught im match fixing generally?

If just 11 players regardless of the level of their skills, which in turn determines their financial worth, would have sufficed to win all the titles they won within that timeframe, why then did they have to cook the books to circumvent the financial limit placed on them? Any random 11 players would have done the job.
