My question is< Are these guys young players?? or are they older than the foreign legionhuh Cos it will not pay us using old players in the local league in the name of giving them international exposure cos at the end of the day, age will still catch up on them. I dont know what others think about it,

CultureRe: Igbos, Will You Marry An Osu? by dozai: 4:27pm On Feb 16, 2012
Traditionally, there are two classes of people in Igboland – the Nwadiala and the Osu. The Nwadiala literally meaning ‘sons of the soil’ are the freeborn. They are the masters. While the Osu are the slaves, the strangers, the outcasts and the untouchables. Chinua Achebe in his well-known book, No Longer At Ease asks: What is this thing called Osu? He answers: “Our fathers in their darkness and ignorance called an innocent man Osu, a thing given to the idols, and thereafter he became an outcast, and his children, and his children’s children forever”  They are specifically people sacrificed to the gods in Igbo community. And they assist the high priest of the traditional religion to serve the deities or the gods in their shrine. In some special circumstances, those who hold the traditional beliefs of the Igbos could transform a Diala who committed certain atrocities against the land into an Osu. This process involved intricate rituals (offering of libations and sacrificing animals to the earth goddess)
Now if these guys are slaves and strangers and sometimes Dialas.  meaning they were born somewhere else as nwadiala's and ur ppl out of ignorance call them osu. Maybe when u get to blood bank also tell them to screen if its an osu blood.

NRI PRIEST:
Hello ? Hello?? Hellooohuh Are you generous, telling a slice of the truth or are you just making things up ??
You definitelly dont know shhitt about the osu cast system!!
And what is it with this ur "noble","noble","noble" ??
For your information,I have first hand knowledge of osu origin and it present state,at least in my town!! So,dont you come here and distort history! We presently have osu in my town; And yes 99% of the town dont marry from there but we still show them much LOVE and they arent complaining!!
Let me ask u a question bro. These men u call Osu, were they born by the deitieshuh? no. They were born as nobles but something happened along the line that made them to be called Osu. Since u have indepth into Igbo cultures and traditions. huh I want u to explain that to us>>>>> and why they are now untouchableshuh

Ninapha:
What do u know about Imo people to call us lazy people.  Even if the free education is given to Msc level, i am sure less than 30% of Anamberians wd go for it because education is meant for women in your state while university of main market is for men.  What do u know about education?
the problem of Imo state is Employment and that is not about employing them even in the civil service but creating the environment.  Go to Naze Junction, u wd see an abandoned SME site, whats his plan in completing such wonderful project Can u beat Aba for Ariria Market, why wd every imoite go to lagos, Rivers, Abuja to look for work.  Do u remember when all the Akpans were cooks and maids untill Gov.Duke came on board, that's a man who is ready to transform his state.  Today Cross River is generating employment through their  tourism industries.

Soon u wd hear Rochas building waterfall as a project, u will read it here too.
Yes 30% will go for it because we believe in self empowerment. What stops ur kinsmen from getting the education first. Later find a way to empower themselves with the internal ingenuity. No u want finished food. I know a lot about ur ppl cos i schooled there. The only guys i respect from ur place are the mbaise's. Go and inform ur ppl that they have to start empowering themselves. After all there is no state in the SE that have government industries. The greats from Anambra went to Main Market Uni like u said but right now they are employers of labour. Innosons, Ibetos, Whiz oil. Many of them. Let ur ppl start same and not building Hotels everywhere in Owerri. mmmtcheeew

Who is an Osuhuh In the dark ages before the advent of Christianity. When the gods reign supreme. These are noble men and women who out of maybe persecution, oppression, and the rest will have no choice than to run to the local deity for protection. Everyone far and near will clear off from  them because of the fear of retribution from the deity.
Who is an Ohuhuh This simply means noble men from far and near who were either kidnapped, or sold by their kinsmen to slave merchants. These merchants will in-turn sell them to rich nobles to serve in their palaces, homes, places of worship etc. In ordinary term, they are called slaves
All these will then be transferred from generation to generation till now.
Now that Christianity has taken over. the oppressed and the persecuted run to their churches and pastors and hand over their lives to the Almighty. Do we still call them Osuhuh NO!!!!
People hire people to serve them in their houses, places of work and the rest. Do we call them Ohuhuh NO (food for thought)
Young men in my place has put a stop to all the nonsense. The so called Osu's came to be the highly educated, holding key positions in government circles and daamn, their chics were very pretty so guys got to do what they got to do. ABOLISH IT.
THEIR IS NO OSU OR OHU BLOOD IN BLOOD BANKS.

This our IG dey fall my hand. Is it not the same black uniform that they use in USAhuh. The thing is with the mentality and IQ of the policemen. Give them gold uniform today, 2morrow it will look like rags. U dont put a gold round a pigs neck. The rank and file in the force needs re orientation and proper IQ tests from experienced ppl. After that maybe like 20% of these present policemen will remain. I bet u IG ppl respect the man and not the uniform.

Rochas was loved by everyone including me.  Now if indeed u are form Imo, what wd u consider as Rochas Agenda for Imo people.  Free Education u would say and what?  Already there is free education to JSS3 so he is only taking up SS1-3 withoutout the Waec fee.  Fair i must say, I paid WAEC fee recently and i think Imo state pays higher than any other state with all the security fee this and that.

Roads:  He has started some roads but my dear, wait, we know how they begin, let him complete them before posting himself on mercury.

Now do you know any civil servant in Imo state, call him to tell you if he is still in love with Rochas, Retirees and all the lots.  He talks too much.

His 100, 000 to Imo students studing in Imo state institutions, how fair do u think he is?  What of those in FUTO, ALVAN, POLYNEK that are federal schools,  What of other Imoites schooling in other states, he is sure brewing trouble.

Wdn't it have been better to sort out unemployment in Imo state.  An average Imoite is a potential undergraduate and afterwards a potential keke driver.

What infrastructures are available in the schools.  Whatever project he brings out to u guys is to increase his pocket. I am sure of this.
My broda, the problem with u guys is that u are very lazy, always looking for easy and free money. Why is it like that. Always looking for appointments where u will sit down with a long tie to collect bribe and free money.
Look the greatest thing any man can give u is education. An educated mind can break into anywhere. Let this kind of thing be done to Anambrarians i tell u that Gov will be given the seat for life.

Till today, There are still some states that giver bursaries to their students. Though my state never gave us any, but students from some states still collect theirs. So why the fuss if the man wants to start paying bursaries to Imo state students. Which one do ppl prefer, to stack the cash inside his account in europe or use it to buy private jethuh? mmmmmtcew. If u are from Imo state, i know u will be praying for it to be real.

Clearing ghost workers aint a bad idea, after all their names just emerged from the blues. The man wants to reduce the cost of governance. Matter close. He awards contracts only to those that have the financial muscle to execute it. He is operating on post paid mode. No more disappearance of contractors of reciept of mobilization fee.

PoliticsRe: Imo Privatises Water Corporation. by dozai: 4:55pm On Jan 31, 2012
Dede1:
You are very silly to inject element of sentiment into this debate. I do not give a hoot about Ohakim or Okorocha. Both governors have never and will never provide anything to me to sustain a living.

If I did not spend quality time in Orlu during December 2011, I would have given a considerable thought to the idea of relocation from Owerri to Orlu after reading the crap you posted about Orlu and Water Corporation. The last time I checked though, Owerri is not in the same league with Orlu.

When I visited Orlu, a mechanic workshop caught fire and it was allowed to born completely because of lack water and fire service yet Orlu is municipality with functional Water Corporation. I guess there is also a Water Corporation Football Club of Orlu.
Bros i am from anambra, but i do pass all these zones b/4 getting to my domain. Okorocha is not my governor and neither is ohakim. But the truth of the matter is that the man is smart. I bet u, if my state gets a man half as smart as him as a governor things will definitely change. I lived in imo state for like 8yrs. All the water corporations are just moribund structures lying waste since the exit of sam mbakwe. If the man came up with the idea of restructuring the corporation, its a welcome idea. the lines are still there and moreover its not every family that can afford the borehole thing. The structures are still there in okigwe, orlu and owerri.
Kudos to him.

as for the massive development, the only thing i saw recently is the expansion of the road from orlu main town towards Akokwa axis and also from orlu towards owerri. Sources said that the idea is actually dualization of the said road.
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Links Boko Haram To "oil Derivation". by dozai: 11:14am On Jan 28, 2012
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. Please i will advice you to send some of ur open minded men to the East. Let them get the manual on how the people pushed themselves to where they re now 42 years after the civil war. Anambra for example. Your ppl are poor becos of the mindset and possibly the way islam is preached there. where u the elites support begging and the rest. Please advice ur ppl to roll their sleeves and get dirty. How do u support polygamy even when the person doesnt have the resources to take care of the children. All the so called almajiris, do they not have parentshuh If u say the north is shortchanged, what do  say of states like Anambra, Enugu. have they taken up armshuh Your people are lazy, ur religion and your elites also doesnt help the matter. Please leave Oyeel out of it. When groundnut never dey ppl no dey chop goat shit.

Better advice your ppl to look inwards and develop their inner talents. Nnewi ppl in Anambra is doing that and its already spreading to all parts of the state. Very soon that state will start producing virtually everything just like Aba in abia state.
