Good morning buddies.
I need urgent assistance concerning my Redmi 8 sudden shut down and inability to come up. The spec is 4GB, 64GB.
I bought the phone December 2019 and l must confess that it served its purpose till December 2021.
On three occasions in the month of December 2021, it switched off on its own which I usually bring on by pressing power button and volume down key together for some seconds.
Fast forward to 10th February 2022, I just woke up to find it switched off, I tried to power it by the above method but it was unresponsive. Later I took it to phone technician, after some couple of minutes, the phone came on and worked till yesterday when it switched off again. Till now, the phone is still switched off.
What is the solution to this??. I need urgent response. Thank you so much.

Go ahead bro. I can attest to the fact that Romoss still tops the chart amongst power banks. The Romoss Simple 20 that l bought since August last year is still serving its purpose till this moment.
It charges my Redmi 8 phone with 5000mAh up to 3 times and half before it gets to the last bar.
If your budget is elastic, you can buy Romoss Sense 8p with 30,000mAh. This one is a beast. Kudos bro.

Good afternoon buddies.
My Redmi 8 phone is having a challenge of receiving calls in my MTN number that is in slot 1. I have two MTN numbers inserted in the same phone. I tried swapping the slots yet the issue persists. What could be the cause?? I removed the aim and inserted in my second phone and everything is working perfectly.

Good morning Buddies.
I have followed this thread and was impressed by the suggestions that Redmi Note 9s remains the best for the price the op has budgeted for phone purchase.
I am also interested in buying the phone.
Having said that, I would like to know if the phone has a screen bleeding issue as I read from other threads?.
Secondly, can some kindly clarify me what this screen bleeding issue actually meant?

This phone is turely a performance beast.

Battery 10/10
4hrs of browsing(non stop), battery reduced from 100 to 84.

This phone charges fast took 35mins to charge from 61 to 100. (Should take 1hr 40mins for full charge)

Standby is great. For 9hrs, battery reduced from 100 to 97

Design10/10
The design finishing of this phone is spectacular and better than RN8 pro.

Camera 8.5/10
The 48mp in this device is awesome. But Gcam will do great.

Camera options include Slow mode, short video, potrait, night, pano, pro, 48mp, video and photo.

Video records in (720p, 1080p, 4k) and selfie(720p and 1080p). EIS is good in both cameras.

Daylight imaging is good in ultrawide but poor at night.

Macro cam is great.

Display 7/10
LCDs are not perfect. The dot hole displays dark shadows which can be seen when look closely. But this isn't a problem. Contents are crisp.

Performance 9/10
This device is good for it's range, haven't experience any lag switching between apps and doesn't restart. Apps open very fast. The SD 720g is really working.

Fingerprint is fast no delays
No tempered glass screen but comes with a TPU
System update is available (2.2gb)
No money wasted.

I also use Romoss Simple 20,000mAh and it charges my Redmi 8, three and half times before it goes down.

I succeeded in getting the right screen protector for Redmi 8. For best appearance, use Tecno Spark 4 Air screen protector. It fitted very well.

Who else has noticed that Airtel Network has been down for close to 3 hours?? There are no network bars both in my phone and Airtel Mifi.
I reside in Port Harcourt, is this issue general or location dependent??

If you reside in Port Harcourt, please where can I get original screen protector for Redmi 8. I have used both Galaxy A10s and Y7 Prime protectors but after some time, the protector begins to pull open. Thanks.

Kindly help me clarify this issue. I bought Romoss 18W Fast Charger for my Redmi 8 but noticed that it takes beyond 2hours to charge the 5,000mAH battery from 10% to 100%. I want to know if this is a general issue or just peculiar to me?.
