All I can say is that Jesus came to fulfill one purpose, to pay the price for our sins and to restore us back to God the father. So he could afford not to marry. For most other men God has mandated us to be fruitful and replenish the earth. This can only happen under the umbrella of marriage. So you can't go to hell because you got married.

The secrete to living above sin is The Word of God. We all know that Jesus is the Word of God that was made flesh and he asked his followers in John 15 to abide in him because without him, we can do nothing. This can be explained using the illustration of a 100m runner in a track and field event. He aught to stay within the boundaries of his lane or else he will be disqualified. This is why God's word is compared to a mirror which every true child of God looks at to examine or compare himself. This acts of self examination using God's word coupled with the work of the Holy Spirit who brings God's kind of understanding (Rhema) to the scriptures makes Us Fruitful Christians.

Also in verse 3 of that portion Jesus said we are made clean through the Word of God. The Word has the power of life. That's why Jesus's first response to the devil when He was tempted is really important. Our Christian lives is not dependent on natural food but on the sustenance From the word of God. The psalms said it is God's word that he has hidden in his heart that has prevented him from sinning against God. Thus the more you study the word and receive Rhema from the Spirit of God, the more grace Jesus gives you to live above sin and be saved in the end.

Look at the nicodemous story in John 3, Jesus said except you be born again you will not SEE the kingdom of God and except you are born of water (the word) and the Spirit you will not ENTER the kingdom of God. This shows that after we become Born again, God expects us to grow in grace and abide by his word because it is the person that runs this endurance race to the end that will be saved. Thus salvation at the end can only be achieved through the combined effort of the Word of God and the Spirit of God.

It is from God's word that I found out that God made me in his image and likeness. And God is a Holy God in whom no iniquity can be found in. Thus I know I have the capacity to live a holy life and anything that says it is impossible is a layer and is off the devil. Every form of addiction is subject to the power of the Word of God.

I encourage all of us to read, study, listen to, meditate on Gods word as often as we can because the power above sin is between those bible pages.

The word immorality means something that is wrong or is wrongly used. So sexual immorality simply means the wrong use of the tool called sex.

Now you may ask, what is the right use? It is a spiritual tool used to bind two individuals as explained by Jesus in Mathew 19:4-5

Masturbation, as the guy above me have said, is a tool in which demonic spirits bind them selves to people here on earth. Most porn videos are channels of these spirits also. So brother run from it.

About the people that have dumped Christianity because they couldn't cope, the bible says by strength shall no man prevail, when you give your life to Jesus and genuinely ask for God's grace to overcome all these sins, the Lord will give you grace. But you have to study God's word daily, pray and attend a bible beliving church so that you can grow your spirit man.

Hello everybody, do you know that Jesus Christ loves you dearly. That's why he came down to earth to die in your place (and mine) to redeem us from the law of sin and death. Operating under this law would have resulted in our eternal condemnation with the devil. But Jesus died to save us from the consequences of this law and to place us under "the law of the Spirit of LIFE in Christ Jesus" which is the only way to eternal life with God almighty (Romans 8:1-2).

Believing and accepting Jesus Christ also empowers you to become a son of God, a citizen of the Kingdom of God, a heir to all the blessings of abraham and grants you access to true power over the works of the enemy (In the name of Jesus and according to the level of faith you have in God) {John 1:12, Mark 16: 16-18}. The kind that you will never find in any alcohol bottle or in any babe or guy ( being there, done that but Christ is way sweeter).

Looking at the thick shrubs and bush on the second rail close to the fallen train one can say that they might have cost this accident. if those shrubs extended to the main rail line, those shrubs can be the reason why the train went off its rails.

We need to always remove those thick overgrowth from the rail lines.

This deal is both good and bad but There are questions we are not asking.

Nigeria imports 70% of the goods it uses from China thus making us a major market for them.
These goods include generators, iron, plastics, etc. Why will they help us fix our industries when it takes money from their country in the long run. If even only our electricity is fixed we can become self sufficient in very many areas.

There was also an article I read where they said most Chinese refineries are built to refine heavy crude oil but nigeria produces light crude so they may not be really intrested in our oil.

China has large deposits of iron ore and coal and many other resources thus they can produce things very cheap so it might not be most of our minerals we wish to start mining that they are interested in.

The advantages I can see here are they will sell their industrial products and expertise to nigeria (for an inflated cost), take advantage of this good will and obtain arable lands to grow some crops they may need, provide high level jobs for their people in another land (as they will manage the system for some time before it will be passed on) and may be buy Nigerians natural gas to generate cleaner electrical energy than their coal power generating plants.


That's just my opinion and I know I might be totally wrong.

So you mean God is not in control of everything that is happening, especially that which concern the action and inaction of man. for example: if I lost my car keys although God knew I would lost it, it's due to my carelessness not his will and, if found it, he still knew I would find it though it's not his will but my cleverness.

When God created man in the begining, God gave man dominion (authority and control) on earth. He told him to, subdue the earth and have dominion over it (among other things). God has not taken that back.

See it this way, if a person comes to lagos and say in spite of all the negative things I'm seeing I must make it and he starts plotting, pushing and hustling. It will only take a bit of time but that person will make it likewise if a person comes into the same lagos and says there are to many negatives around I cannot make it, that person will not make it. That shows that it is still man that is in control on earth.

The only thing is that sin and death entered into the picture and the devil now have some say ie. He can hinder you by placing obstacles in your path or derailing you completely.

I personally have misplaced keys at certain times in my life, I have also smashed my phone screen but i cannot say that God loves me any less or that He wants it to happen to hurt me. It was just me being absentminded.

All in all what I am saying is I am in control but God knows far more than me so if I place my live in his hands for him to lead me, although there may be rough patches I will arrive at my expected end.

Sir, thank you for your mention. Although we have a predestined purpose on earth God didn't predestinate all our actions. He said he has given us a choice between the way of life and of death and he adviced us to choose life. But due to the fact that he can see the future he knows what our response will be to every trial and temptation. So we are totally responsible for the choices we make. An example is Jesus Christ came and died to save the world from their sins. If a person receives this gift, he will be saved and if a person doesn't receive Him he is condemned already. But God knows those who are his children. Even the seemenly bad people because sometime in the future they will accept The gift of Jesus and be saved.

Yes sir, God created time and he knows the end from the beginning. Personally, i feel He had seen this event even before the kids were born that was why he said he hated esau and loved his brother. Remember God has given us free will, (ie we can do anything we like here on earth but when he comes we shall give account). So even though he didn't like esau's actions (which came from his belief system) he didn't stop it.

Truth be told that story is very sacred for every believer. There is a reason why God loved Jacob and hated esau. (Remember God created time so is not bound by time and he knows the end from the begining). That "story" explains it clarely. Esau placed more value on pleasing his body than spiritual things (his place in the kingdom of God). Thus God was not happy because the things of the spirit are far more important than pleasing the desires of the flesh which is temporary. The things of the spirit are also eternal. It is a very sacred story that every child of God should learn from.


Also birthright signifies something that you didn't work for but is "soon to be yours" by right. So him using the words "what is the use of my birthright" means he really didn't value what he didn't get by his own power and intelect. God expects that as we plan and step out each day to achieve our set goals, we should acknowledge him so that he can direct our paths. He wants to lead his children to success and wealth. This doesn't mean his children should be lazy but that they should know that it is he that gives power (ideas and knowhow) to make wealth.

To a large extent this country's problem is not the lack of good ideas but poor facilities to implement these ideas. We cannot produce local goods that will sustain us and be competitive in the international market without security and electricity. We can't improve on our products without proper research institutes. Transportation of Good from the production plants to the market can't be achieved except the roads are good and alternative means of transport are provided. Proper funding is also key. This is what Nigerians need from her government because the ideas are there.

Thank you for your good observation but I totally disagree with you ma. Being an introvert is strength if channeled properly and I will give you a few reasons why.

An introvert spends more time using his mind instead of his mouth. He analyzes people (their actions & reactions) and his environment. His ability to help and care for others is also an area of strength. Giving these two character traits, an introvert is more creative and innovative than his extrovert counterpart. Most Innovation comes from creative thinking and since an introvert does that more often he will definitely be more creative and productive. He can make products or services that can truly meet the needs of others because he understand them in a way the extrovert doesn't.

Also most introvert have very good self control. They have more power to resist peer pressure and the need and craving to belong. They are happy in many cases to stand out. Now if that is not strength tell me what strength is.

Introverts are the world's unsung heroes because they quietly design and make things that ensures our existence is less stressful. From electricity to the computer to air travel there have always been one introvert at the starting point.

Please ma, try to see people for who they are and don't be too hasty to judge.

First and foremost, I will say I am happy with him because he is one of a few nigerian who brainstorms and seeks for ways to improve the lives of others.

Secondly, His Idea has some good side and some bad side. The good side is it will enable the increase in supply of a product with very high demand and supply margins in Nigeria, it will be the first step to implement indigenous local refineries and will also be a means to allow massive unemployed and poor people to create jobs and make money to sustain themselves and their family.

The bad sides are, this could increase pipe line vandalism, this could also put the region at risk because this crude oil and its distilled products are highly inflammable thus it is a national disaster waiting to happen. Also, there are pollution concerns as the residues from the distillation process can be dumped indiscriminately in nearby water bodies and harm the aquatic and other animals that depend on these water bodies to survive.

Now looking at the bad side, there are solutions to a few of them. Firstly, the product monitoring agencies (assuming no corruption) can be used to randomly check the octane rating of fuel produced through this process to ensure that they are suitable for cars, the pipeline monitoring should be more automated with perpetrators identified and arrested, the waste are also useful thus can be bought by companies making engine oil, carbon black for tires and road construction companies. Thus the only problem is the fire hazard risk involved, now will that be enough to allow them to be legal or not? I don't know. Please feel free to counter or support this. it is already a debate.

Brother that will happen at the end but the sequence is this. First the rapture of the church, then the reign of the anti-christ for seven years (not so sure of this), then the great battle where Jesus will lead God's army and Will defeat the devil and lock him up. Then the millennial reign for one thousand years where Jesus and his disciples will rule the word and the unbelivers, then the devil will be released again for a little time before his final defeat and eternal condemnation to hell.

As many people attacking the son of Lucifer should not stress themselves. The bible says that there is no repentance if you sin the sin that is unto death I.e. sin against the HOLY SPIRIT and because they did not believe the truth (Jesus is the way, the TRUTH and the life) he will make them believe in a lie. The NNPC is spending billions finding oil in the north-east while in the developed part of the world they are perfecting the technology used in extracting petroleum products (diesel, fuel, etc.) from wood ash (saw dust). Now tell me who will they sell the oil to? Nigeria please wake up, this oil and gas market is fast fading away. diversify now or risk going totally broke.

If you initiate the weekly football training session for youths, my guess is that other people will come and join you from time to time.
Here you can get to know these people and preach the Gospel to them. It is easier to reach out to somebody you already have some form of relationship with than someone you just met randomly on the streets.

The devil always uses what people love to lure them to hell, we as God's children should also try our best to spread the gospel through as many means as possible.

I feel him saying he is not a changed president when compared to his previous military tenure is more worrying than him missing his way in the villa.

He was not particularly the best president back then plus i can remember watching his pre-election victory interview on CNN where he specifically said he was a changed person (A reformed Democrat).

Yes he did dissociate himself from these promises but the problem is he did not denounce them to the right audience and didn't put his foot down to ensure that his message was successfully conveyed to the right audience.

Saying something to an audience that will not influence the amount of votes he receives or feel the direct impact of his leadership (except for the APC members that followed him from Nigeria) isn't really effective. A man as smart as Buhari should have seen that such laps in information can cause problems in the long run.

Nigerians read the APC manifesto and that was what they wanted for their beloved country, thus they voted Buhari because he ran under that party ie they believed his vission and the party's vission were one.
