I believe the induction will be done separately. If they had wanted the two batches together, it would have been more logical to release the names at the same period. It seems they are following some bureaucracies, as some other news has it that they requested for two batches of recruits in 2018 from the National Assembly.

Truth is, I still believe it is not over yet. But the crux of the matter is for one's name to be included in the said new batch.

I think we have been overreacting to this woman's action. The woman may not be as much rich per se, but wanted to do something that is unique and that will trend. We do not know what that particular day meant to her. Moreover, she knows she is not in America, and not legally bound by the rules and regulations governing conducts there. And to think that that the bills may even be fake, renders some of our bashing here unnecessary.

And again, what is it with some of us blacks in making a blanket statement over the deed of one individual. Black man does bad thing-- blackman mentality: blackman does good-- blackman with a whiteman mentality. We always find a way to compare ourselves with the white. Does it mean that blacks will always seek the approval of the western world in every singular act they do? And most of you who will jump at every opportunity to label the black race stupid seems not to read news to see some utterly bizarre actions the whites indulge in.

It may also be that the said explorer indulges himself in educative materials or stories because he enjoys them, and may only feel it is worth sharing with others. His bringing the educative stuffs here on Nairaland may have nothing to do with compliments, but a sense of commitment to educate or just a hobby.

Most part of this write up makes sense.

In my own opinion, the easiest and most effective way to cage oneself is to expect too much respect, love and acceptance from people. When you know that your comments or opinions are subject to debate or even outright rejection, and accept that people are entitled to their own interpretation or perception of your opinions, then no level of compliments can cage you.

Dowry payment in its true understanding should be a figurative payment to signify the entering into agreement between two different families, and not a literal outright payment of a family to another for their daughter. If not, then women are being objectified and monetized which amounts to a very great debasement of women.

Try and pay up the fees. Losing $1000 for nothing is far worse than the extra charges. After all, you must have to transport the car to Nigeria before you can use it. And bulk of the amount is on transport and export duties.

I can understand the feeling at the bolded. It is not over yet. Even if it is over now, God is not done with us. Not receiving any offer from Dpr may just be the final step to breaking a bigger and better milestone.

The truth is, Dpr has be clouded our minds for too long that we perhaps have been passing by better packages with less attractive 'foils'. Keep pushing relentlessly. There is still hope for the meritorious candidates.

Andrew Obaje doesn't deserve anything. After the government has paid him heavily for years, yet he is given a slot to put his descendant. This is one of the major reasons why the margin between the elite class and the lower classes continues to widen. Until we accept one needs to chart his course to deserve a position, the prospect of Nigeria will continue to be bleak.
