I personally hate the way the broadcast feature is used in Nigeria and detest broadcasts as they cause distractions (same goes for BBM groups).

Here's a way I think one can curb the BBM broadcast menace and become less annoying.

Send a broadcast message to all your contacts with an opt-in message.
Example
"Hello, would you like to be receiving broadcast messages from me?"

For those that say NO, create a group on your BBM called "No Broadcasts" and fix them there. When making your broadcasts, avoid that group.

^^^Or BB pins too. I've thought of it but MAJORITY will still use the PHONE NUMBERS so lets start with that first and see how it goes

Anyway, human (mod) action will still be required & that's why I'm advocating for the mods to be given the power to ban so they can deal with the Phone Dealers who outsmart the spambot

i operate a database for wotan server and can guarantee you that the newsest moto phones has a code database.

the android series can be unlock direct via code or by a generated script push into a rooted phone via adb.

most times it does. But sometimes it's somehow hidden. I once formatted a laptop after which the recovery partition became visible.

Hmmm. . . .this section has been overtaken by Phone Sales & Buying threads/adverts_{. . .despite a section created solely for the posting of such threads and repeated warning by the mods for such peeps to desist from posting the threads here.}

My suggestions:
Set the spambot to automatically ban the posters and knock off all Sales & Buying threads/Ads to the Phone/Internet market child-board. This can be done by tagging certain words or strings common to all such threads into the spambot.

In cases where such threads escape the spambot and the posters are not automatically banned, the Admin & Super moderator should ban the posters with the reason for their ban clearly stated. ie ''For posting a phone ad in the phone section instead of in the Phone Internet market child-board''

^^^^A really hard line has to be taken otherwise it'd be business as usual.

On getting home, I tried browsing with it but since then, my attempts at browsing with the fone has been futile. Someone pls help me out cos I bought the phone for browsing.
