I have been wondering about the exhaustability of recharge PINs. Let me use MTN as an example: an MTN recharge PIN has 12 digits (xxxx xxxx xxxx). That means there are nine hundred and ninety nine billion, nine hundred and ninety nine million, nine hundred and ninety nine thousand, and nine hundred and ninety nine combinations of recharge PINs (999 999 999 999).

My question is, what if over the years, this limit is reached, would MTN expand the number of digits of her PIN? Or, would she start reproducing already spent PINs so as to still keep the digits at 12?

How about permutations ?
Also repeated digits. . .etc
Tho its true they'd run out someday but more combinations will emerge, like reducing the amount of digits of the pin etc

It is very possible using bb desktop manager. Go to tools and choose your blackberry internet settings for your network.Then, you can start bb internet and u r gud 2 go. Its 3times faster than modem

Hi everyone,

I am new to crackberry.com. Anyway, I am having a very annoying problem with my bold. My media card is not working. I like to take pics and use it for music. I have tried everything possible except going to fix it at the local cell repair shop for 75 cad. (which includes the replacement of the media card reader)

I have tried the following:

1. upgraded to OS 6.0.0.418 - still did not recognize the sd card

2. verify whether the sd card is corrupted - I can access all the pictures/videos/music through the computer using a sd reader

3. formatted the sd card - no luck

4. used a friends SD card and nothing is reading - it does not detect the presence of a sd card

5. put my micro sd card into my friend's bold 9700 and it works

6. tried to use a 1gb and 2gb sd card and no luck either.

I'm using the 2gb micro sd card that came with the phone.


Any suggestions? or is there a DIY to replace the micro sd card reader? Is it hard to do?

I've searched many forums but I cant find one that talks about replacement of the micro sd card reader.

when mine happened, i could not even go beyond the startup, so i had no access to the phone at all.

flashing a phone means to remove the operating system and reinstall the same operating system, so the phone will be as new.

u may loose some apps and other things u had in the phone, but its OK still.

it only advised if the fault is a software problem, otherwise, use factory reset.

make sure when u are flashing a phone, that you reinstall the same software that came with the phone, its very important.
