I got $40 for an article I wrote in a PayPal account(the account was verified with Payoneer). However, Paypal removed the payoneer account I linked to it and asked me to include a phone number before I would be able to withdraw.

So this guy comes and says he can add a phone number and I gave him my password. After getting that, he changed the password without adding any number, then blocked me on whatsapp.

I gave him the password because I didn't expect him to attempt to scam for just $40.

what's so hard in adding a number to PayPal? I presume it's a foreign PayPal?

The said bill goes beyond mere issues of inheritance, but most people here are too ignorant and bigotry won't allow them investigate what the bill entails, the bill rubbishes the existence of the Quran as well as the Bible, because they both don't preach gender equality and according to the bill, anything or establishment that doesn't support such should be abolished and anybody trying to preach from such books can be arrested. even CAN doesn't support the bill.

Yes if you have a card linked to your dorm account the withdrawal is even free of charges however if you don't have a card, you'll withdraw with a cheque and there are charges for that.

What is the hope for newcomers on this thread. No one want to send first to you and if you send first you get scammed and I do not have any personal relationship with any of the trusted name here to bother them with escrow. Please help because I am still interested in dealing in e-currency.

Nigerians don't like hearing the truth but like to be lied to. The man has told you the bitter truth,there is nothing anybody here can do to help you get ur money other than talk for 2 hours,laugh over it and continue with their daily business. Nairaland isn't a police station. I have told u ,do all u can to get ur money back,you.are solely responsible for how you deal with ppl. If you think ppl will take ur matter seriously today,then you are in for a shocker,even yesterday the topic swerved from ur issue to something else within minutes.

Though it may seem invisible, bringing such issues to light here has some effect in many areas, evidence of negotiations between parties, reputation and dent to name, some things can't be taken off Google even if nairaland deletes it...
imagine your employer/client Googles your name and finds such information.
