jidobaba: EVERY market, prices are driven by supply/demand. Anyways nairaland is not the only market for AGCs. I sell for more on Purse, paxful, steam, HF. Heck, even reddit. then you should know that the force driving those markets differ from the one driving the Nigerian market. |

jidobaba: Sold 320 per the dollar. Stings but what to do...
Sellers we can fix our own prices, we just need to hold out a bit more ~@350/$. Especially if you have ecodes and not scratchcards.
$500 AGC Ecodes in 50s/100s still available @350/$ FIXED. Holla. which price are you fixing... keep deceiving yourself. if you understand how this market plays out especially with the relevance of what you're selling, you won't make such statement. |

BoboYekini: Paying for VCCs is like paying for a USA /UK PayPal account. If you're even slightly techie, then you should be able to create one for yourself from the many free resources available online. Where it all begins to unravel is when you need to receive refunds/provide verification for the card, complete with a legit US~UK checking account/faxed utility bill showing billing address etc. Happens regularly with PayPal, Amazon, Aliexpress etc. I have over $2000 in GC balance that I may forfeit to Amazon(US) because I couldn't provide verification for the linked Card. Thanks for the explanation, I really appreciate it. |

Your response should answer the questions asked not attack the person asking questions Curiously I even opened his thread and when I got there I remember I had even visited his thread sometime ago and there was a particular issue of someone there that wasn't solved and a second person said he had same issue too. |

I use naira cards at the moment, I only go round collecting card details of all the angels and saints that i know just to make payment. alright... that fnf naira cards package too is available to me, just don't like bothering ppl too much. |

aikfrank: No need convincing you. You are the type that will buy an item worth $420 at black market selling at N450 (N189,000) while someone like me will hustle same value online with Paypal, skrill and the rest at an average of N390 per $1 (N163,800)
Yeah people are different. Goodluck on your Dom, keep making the Banks rich. If this is the best you can do then it may not be worth it after all. All my post was requesting was a further explanation on how reliable your vcc is, how many ppl wake up one morning and find their PayPal up in flames. |

aikfrank: You would be required to fund your account frm BlackmArket which is more expensive. Contact me for a Virtual card and load cheaper to pay anything online. (Visa Card) https://www.nairaland.com/3383087/usd-visa-virtual-card-fund I've seen most of these around but how cheap is it? and my major worry is reliability and how volatile funds can become because no matter how expensive black market is, you have full control over what you take from it and put in your dorm and you can fight your bank when issues arise. |

mavinc4u: That bank is very useless followed by Access bank. Gtbank always loose it at any moment. There was a time Gtbank was charging 1% on every transaction conducted with their dollar card and claimed is from master card, it was when I demanded that they should refund all the maintenance fee I had paid as I could not afford to pay them both the 1% and maintenance fee that they stopped the 1% deduction. If you decide to use gtbank just go for their visa card and use smartly. You can also try stanbic as mentioned by someone. Access bank is a no no to anyone for now unless you want to have issues with the site you intend using it. I knew I'd get a response from experience with them as usual, thanks. My opting for GT is just because of the presence of ABOKIS in one of their branches and that'll make it easy for me to purchase as at when needed, I may also open a stanbic for a second option but which bank do you think is less troublesome because all of them would definitely have their grey areas because it seems you have confidence in another bank you use apart from gt. |
