PoliticsBokoharam Facts To Remember by dramaticspeak(op): 9:16pm On Sep 05, 2014
Fact 1: Dr Stephen Davis was contracted by the government of President Jonathan.

Fact 2: Davis is not a Nigerian, so should not be bothered about Nigeria's politics.

Fact 3: Davis also unmasked the killer of Harry Marshall.

FACT 4: Davis is no newcomer to Nigeria's corridor of power because he mentioned advising former president Obasanjo to prosecute Sekibo the alleged killer of Harry Marshall.

Fact 5: Obasanjo has not repudiated the statement, so it should assumed that Davis spoke the truth.

Fact 6: the Nigerian Army under Ihejirika came under sharp criticism from Amnesty International for extreme cruelty and extrajudicial killings in the North.

Fact 7: Gen Mohammed Shuwa, a federal civil war veteran, was murdered by unknown gunmen, despite the huge government security around him

Fact 8: Boko Haram (Shekau variant) denied being responsible for the killing of Gen Shuwa.

Fact 8: Ihejirika was appointed in September 2010 and was supposed to retire in September 2012 based on the NA policy.

Fact 9: Ihejirika was eased out in January2014 under suspicious circumstances.

Fact 10: The relunctance of having to replace him put a burden on President Jonathan in finding an equally loyal officer to the President's political cause that a whole generation of officers (from Course 19-24) had to be retired to pave way for Gen Minimah.

Fact 11: Under Ihejirika's leadership of the ARMY, Boko Haram mutated from a ragtag group (whose leader the police extra-judicially killed in 2009) to a fully equipped and menacing organisation strutting about in Armoured personnel carriers and Tanks and Heavy Artillery guns, allegedly stolen from the Nigerian Army.

Fact 12: In all of this, the government of Dr Goodluck Jonathan which employed Ihejirika and also contracted Stephen Davis has maintained a stunning radio silence.

If I am not mistaken. The question says where do you see yourself in 5years not what will you do in 5yrs. Your ability to understand and interpret a question is key. The answers you people have given above is not what the "interviewer" asked for

BusinessHow To Verify Your Paypal Accout As A Nigerian by dramaticspeak(op): 6:11am On Aug 25, 2014
Follow these simple steps:

Firstly, log in to your paypal account and make sure you entered the correct billing address for your card.

Secondly, check your email for the 'Welcome to Paypal' email sent into the email address you used in opening your paypal account.
There is a 'Link Your Card' link inside that email; click on that link, follow the prompt and log into your paypal account.

In your account follow the step by step instruction making sure your card details and billing address are correct, then click 'Continue'.

If your card details are correct, Paypal will deduct $1.95 from your account with an instruction to look out from an alert from your bank in 2-3 days time. My GTB alert took less than 1 hour to arrive on my phone.

The message in the bank alert goes thus " Acct""""""""""""""""""""9033 The naira equivalent of USD 1.95 has been approved for the transaction done on PP"9033CODE 5678364577 LU

Thirdly, Log back into your Paypal account and click either the 'Verify' tab at the top of your paypal account statement or 'Confirm your card' link in the right hand column of your Papal account.

Doing either of the two will take you to a window where you'll be required to enter the four digit code in the alert message sent to you by your bank. Enter the 4 digit numbers preceding CODE in the SMS alert; its 9033 in the sample SMS given above.

After entering the 4 digit code in the space provide, scroll down and click the 'Confirm Card' tab.

That's it!

You've successfully verified your Nigerian Paypal account and you can now shop all over the world with that your ATM card without any merchant turning you down each time you choose the PayPal payment option.

Verifying your account also lifts the limit off the $250 spending limit on unverified accounts.

I hope this helps those who are having issues with verifying their Nigerian Paypal accounts.

BusinessDebate On MLM: it Is A Legal Scam by dramaticspeak(op): 5:38am On Aug 17, 2014
In pyramid schemes, income is generated solely on the process of recruiting others into the pyramid.
Sometimes a product or service of questionable value is involved, but you are most often buying into the right to recruit others and collect money.
This is illegal! Now tell me how mlm is different from this.
Mlm is not franchise. Mlm is not network marketing either. Its like network marketing. That hansel looks like bill gates doesn’t make hansel bill gates. The same applies to mlm.
Attched to this writeup is a book "why you should not invest in netwrk marketing. For those who can't download d book. Send a blank mail to hansel.praise16@gmail.com. The floor is open to questions

One young man went to apply for a managerial position in a big company. He passed the initial interview, and now would meet the director for the final interview.

The director discovered from his CV that the youth's academic achievements were excellent. He asked, "Did you obtain any scholarships in school?" the youth answered "no".

" Was it your father who paid for your school fees?"

"My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.” he replied.

" Where did your mother work?"

"My mother worked as clothes cleaner.”

The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

" Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?"

"Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Besides, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.

The director said, "I have a request. When you go home today, go and clean your mother's hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.

The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back home, he asked his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to her son.

The youth cleaned his mother's hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother's hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother winced when he touched it.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fees. The bruises in the mother's hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his education, his school activities and his future.

After cleaning his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.
Next morning, the youth went to the director's office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth's eyes, when he asked: "Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?"

The youth answered," I cleaned my mother's hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes'

“I know now what appreciation is. Without my mother, I would not be who I am today. By helping my mother, only now do I realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done on your own. And I have come to appreciate the importance and value of helping one’s family.

The director said, "This is what I am looking for in a manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life.”

“You are hired.”

A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop an "entitlement mentality" and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent's efforts. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying our children instead?

You can let your child live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch on a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow grey, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your child learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

The man,
He takes a look at her
And she lays sprawled across the table
Hunger.
Lust
Desire
Venomous appetite...
He cant wait to dig his hands in..
He smacks his lips,
Rolls up his shirt
Oblivious of everything
Of everyone
He can't wait..
He washes his hands
Then wraps his palm around her
Massages and squeezes her all over
The moves his hand movement to her neck
Caresses it still
Cuts a small chunk
Caresses...
Cuts yet a smaller piece from the chunk in his palm
Rolls her in between his fingers
Turns her upside down
Right into a bowl
Brings her out, then
Takes her up
Right into his waiting mouth
...this is how an Igbo man eats garri/akpu/semo..

It's almost like a romance!

(Wrote this months back when my friend's husband took me out for lunch in a south-south restaurant. Almost all the Igbo men there that day ate their solids like this. It was a as though they were acting out a script. I couldn't but notice so I scribbled it down the way I saw it....NO PUNS UNINTENDED...)
