The time line has a storyline.
So my wife and son applied in May 2021. Wifey got approved last year october. My son didn’t get his approval. I kept checking. Early this year I saw Non travelling parent consent to travel request for my son in his portal. The deadline for its submission had passed. I don’t know how I missed it. It is still a mystery. No mail or notification was sent. I sent them a consent form. When his application was one year. I started sending webforms and emails. In May 2022 the request was made again by IRCC for Non Travelling consent to travel letter and passport. I was able to submit it. In June got a medical request. He Passed the medical in July 2022. Then the wait started. I sent webform, email and contacted the MP through email. Until yesterday when I got original passport request for him. Now my wife and son have their approvals.

Question for you guys,
I and my remaining kids will apply to visit them after they get there. Do I apply through her GCkey or I create my own GCKey and apply.

You need to add the yellow slip for biometrics, consent letter etc. kindly read your PPR letter for further informations.
If you’re sending to Abuja, don’t forget to pay transmission fee of #9,410 and 990naira for sms. Please verify from others to be sure. All the best and enjoy your holiday with your kid.

Firstly My Wife (Study permit)
My wife's Study Permit Application was submitted on Feb 26th, 2022 (Upfront medicals were done)
Biometrics was done on 7th March 2022.
Medical passed and Biometric updated 7th March 2022.

PPR For my Wife May 27th, 2022.

Secondly Myself and our 2 months Baby.

Visit Visa for Myself and Baby applied on the 22nd of June 2022
Biometrics requested for me alone on 23rd June 2022
Biometrics completed and updated 24th June 2022.

Eligibility Review Started 24th July 2022
Medical Requested for me and my baby 25th July 2022
Medical Booked and done on the 26th July 2022 (Miracle and grace)
Medical Updated to Pass 27th July 2022
BVL AND PPR FOR ME AND MY BABY 3RD AUG 2022.


Me, My wife, and my baby will Travel Together!!!

Good morning nairalanders. I actually applied for a TRV with my children. I have done my biometrics, medicals, and recently, I was sent my passport request letter. They didn't ask my children for medicals and also, they didn't send them their passport request letter. This has been bothering me. Pls, I need to know, has anyone experienced this before?

Can you share your timeline please. Also is it your first time application or you're renewing?
You can send them a webform or better still check their application status online. I heard kids less than 5years don't need medicals. I don't know how true that is. Maybe you can also do an upfront medicals for them and send through webform just to be on a safe side. Congratulations and all the best.

Guys! Finally the remaining part of the puzzle was solved this morning after more than 28 emails and webforms back to back. Remember my kids got PPR on 28 June 2022 while my spouse got medical request. The medicals was done July 14th at IOM and the stamped passports of the kids was gotten back from abuja VSF of July 15th. Iom sent the result for medical on July 21st and IRCC uploaded that same day. Then another wait began and i started sending emails and webforms also at some point contacted my mp again. Yesterday morning we got BVL but this morning around 3.20am EDT she go the PPR. At last exactly 1year and 7days becos the application was submitted 22nd July 2021.
It has ended in praises. While waiting for her PPR i already booked airfrance for september just to buy time and also pay less flight fees even at that i paid pass 3k CAD

Please did anyone here get visit visa yesterday or today? I noticed ircc has a pattern of issuing visa, be it study permit, visit or pr. It’s like they work country by country. They remembered Nigeria yesterday and today ��. I applied for visit visa since May 2022 and my biometrics was updated to completed just yesterday! I believe next i hear from them will be PPR in Jesus name Amen �

Is it okay to do an upfront medicals and submit via webform immediately after receiving AOR or one should wait until requested? I noticed it can take 2-4 months to get medical request after AOR.

Applied for VV for my hubby and kids in January, refused on 8th of March. Applied for VV for my kids and SOWP for hubby on April 28th, approved today 26th of July.

On the 21st July 2022 at 5:42am, God shown me favour......it's PPR!!!!
I'm so grateful to this platform for the encouragement and motivation.
I submitted my application on 25th February 2022, Biometrics was updated immediately (previous VV), Medical request came on the 17th May, Test was done on 28th May, Medical passed 8th June and PPR received today.
Many more PPRs to come for everyone waiting for this good news....
