It actually took me full three hours to complete the task.

This was the email I got but can't see it in my PayPal account.
The part written, " claim your money", was provided for me to click on but it still brought an error message after I had clicked on it.
The funny part is that the email was sent from PayPal.

Also, PF, HL, SR, ICE calls tend to be available around 4pm to 6pm. I think CLH and FC Uk are predominant starting from 7pm.

I believe FC-UK calls are top priority calls, so expect to see them ALWAYS, especially at night. The ones y'all want to see mostly come up between 9am and 11am but are usually short calls. At other times, it's random. You might have to refresh multiple times to catch one.

That's my observation.

Another thing am noticing, but, am not completely sure of yet, is the time to catch those beautiful calls we love to work on. I've noticed at a particular time of day/night, FC UK and CLH calls will flood the dashboard and one can waste all your precious release tokens on them. Then again, at other time of day/night, calls from PF, HL, SR will flood the dashboard.
Let's look into this, as I believe it will help us better prepare for the task.

I didn't see anything. I am talking about the stage where you will be asked to do a small transcription after your registration. The ist email someone always get after registration.

If you've applied before and you failed the transcription test, to apply again u need to use a new email. Once u apply again and u are directed to where u will take the test, simply refresh ur browser continuously till u see clip 6 (the test audio). Then copy and paste the quoted text above and submit.



N.B: Passing the transcription test is the easiest part

If at all I didn't benefit anything from transcribing on Qaworld (which would be a lie), at the very least, my data plan no longer runs out and I have recovered the cost of buying my smartphone in January this year + covered most of my data plan costs.
If you're able to get a grip of this stuff even if you're employed, you can at least cover your cost of monthly data even on a 4G ISP like a Spectranet, Ntel etc.
They have also made the platform a lot easier to use than when I started using it.
I remember lamenting to one of the SCCs that we should have the option to briefly edit a failed transcript and she returned an emphatic NO, but here we're today with that option on Qaworld and I have had no need for that recently because I upped my game.
Remember that to make money, learning is your baby step.

Working at QA world is tantamount to slaving. The pay per hour is low, and they're exploting people from third world countries who won't mind getting cheated, and would do anything for a penny. How can I fixate my eyes on the light emanating from a phone's screen for 2hours, and then, get paid something less than $1.5. I feel sick right now. I'll look for something real that's worth my time and pay to do.
NB: You get paid nothing less than the US minimum wage when working as a transcriptionist in a real company. That's, nothing below $10 for an hour call.

Modified: I know some would say, you get paid for example, $10 for an hour call.
It would take nothing less than 8hours for a professional to transcribe an hour call. The pay therefore, would be $80. It's a different thing at QA world. I'm not desperate enough to settle for less.
