jnfoage: This was a question a math professor of mine would ask physics students at their Ph.D. oral exam, but it doesn’t really involve any advanced physics. The question: when we look in a mirror, left and right are swapped - that is, our image’s left hand is our right hand, etc. Why aren’t up and down swapped?
Whoever answers this correctly has two points. Lateral inversion. The image is inverted along the same plane of orientation. And it's the same hand you're looking at. |

A little while later, John came back angrily after he discovered the ₦1000 note he was given by the shopkeeper was fake, and demanded a replacement. To avoid trouble, the shopkeeper had to give John another ₦1000 and destroyed the counterfeit which had no real value.

ollah1: Brillaint piece that most people don't understand. Plus i noticed the op is a dummy. He doesn't do his research before buying phones. He left Samsung Note 5 cos of memory( it's known not to have an expandable memory). Jumped on KeyONE thats basically for business and now on iPhone 7 plus. He will soon cry on this one too cos the memory can't be expanded. Exactly. I was just laughing at that dude as he said he got the iPhone 7 Plus. Someone who is used to Android generally will not enjoy switching to iOS. And he might not even know that iPhones don't ha very expandable memory. He might have even bought a 32GB model OP, don't forget to tell us when you're having problems with your iPhone. Maybe then you'll switch to Windows |

Education › Re: Latest Webometrics Ranking For Nigerian Universities July 2017 by DrayZee: 10:32am On Jul 31, 2017 |
Pedagogue: It's a shame that many Nigerians accept whatever is thrown at them without doing a personal check!
Quote me, Webometrics is not recognised outside Nigeria, and by extension, Africa. The chief reason for this is that the ranking system does not fit into the most advanced thinking on University ranking methodology. Specifically, the ranking is mainly based on University 'presence' on the internet-hence the name-'WEBometrics'. In fact, there's a caveat on Webometrics' website that: "It does not measure, compare, or quantify design layout or popularity but rather uses presence, access, and visibility as the key indicators of quality and performance in the higher education sector."
Little wonder therefore that the 2017 Webometric ranking of World Universities goes thus:
1. Harvard University 2. Stanford University 3. MIT 4. University of California Berkeley 5. University of Michigan 6. University of Washington
My point: Yale University, Oxford, Cambridge, Princeton and Columbia are ranked 13, 7, 10, 23 and 27 respectively! The only ranking methodology that can lead to such conclusion is WEBOMETRICS!
Accordingly, the only place UNN & Covenant can be rated above OAU, Ile-Ife; and FUTMINNA rated above UNILAG & ILORIN is Webometrics!
The QS World ranking of Universities, Academic ranking of World Universities and the Times are the rankings that are respected all over the world. Unfortunately, apart from UI that is recognised by the Times, no other Nigerian University is recognised by these reputable organisations.
So, stop falling over yourselves-Webometrics has little or no practical utility! Yes you're right that webometrics is not ideal for ranking. But Times Higher Education ranking contains THREE Nigerian universities in it's ranks, in the order: 1. University of Ibadan. 2. Covenant University. 3. University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Note: Only UI is actually included in their ranks of top 981 universities. Covenant and UNN are under consideration. I'll check the others. https://www.timeshighereducation.com/student/where-to-study/study-in-nigeria |

EvilMetahuman: flip phones generally, mostly come with dual screen. Either smart or just regular cellphone. But integrating dual screens on normal inch screen smart phone has not been done by anyone. That's what makes this phone stand out.
The rest, we saying the same thing. Samsung copies ideas and make it look like it's theirs. They will add some unwanted feature like (heart rate monitor of shiit rate timer) then finish the rest with with aggressive marketing that will make you think its cooler than what you have seen before.
By the way, deathstroke is still way cooler than deadpool or deadpoop

asuustrike2009: It's possible you subscribe to their data plan unknowingly around January. Don't forget they have auto renew so you were automatically charged for renewal. Be the case, they should have refund your money unlike airtel and etisalat now 9 mobile. Call 622 Ncc to resolve this issue I hope you're not Mtn personnel or related to one. Because, in terms of stealing from customers, MTN is the absolute worst. That's the one thing they're good at. And you're talking about Airtel and 9Mobile (Etisalat). I have faced similar scenarios on both of them and they refunded my money sharply. So why are you speaking against them? |
Phones › Re: Meet The World First Dual Screen Smartphone – Meizu Pro 7 by DrayZee: 11:43pm On Jul 30, 2017 |
EvilMetahuman: 90% of flip phones are dual screen. Its not samsung's idea.
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41jfSCyi3RL.jpg
In smart phone world, everybody copies everybody. And yes, samsung do copy others but they have a way of making it look like it was their idea when they market same product you have seen somewhere before.
Samsung android smart phones are topping android market mostly due aggressive marketing.
Emphasis on mostly. Before some ediotic samsung fanboys will descend on my post. Hmm... Firstly, the phone I'm talking about here is a smart phone . Not those regular Nokia and Sagem oldies. I can't remember it's name, but if you see it, you'll know it is a result of true innovation. Sleek and premium. And yes, Samsung may copy ideas. But the fact that they make them more presentable (or better) than they initially were is what makes them stand out. Like the way Marvel copied Deadpool from DC's Deathstroke, and made him what he is now. |

EvilMetahuman: I'm sure samsung will use something like this in their s9 and make it look like it was their idea.
Then apple will use it in iphone 9 and make it look like they invented it. Na wa oh. Samsung has already made a phone like this. It's a flip phone with touch-sensitive screens on both sides. Though it was user customized (that is, not a production model). So if Samsung had decided to make production models of that phone, you'd have assumed that they copied. So you think Samsung got to the top just by copying others? Chei. Samsung don suffer. |

MissRaine69: Who are you? It was not meant as a counter thread to anything you have posted. Let's get that out of the way. Now that we have that clarified. I write what I observe, read and hear and there appears to be a prevailing mentality amongst some women that their very daily existence has to be supported by someone else. While offering nothing. Your post advocated that mindset to the latter. And that's what's wrong with most women that inflated sense of entitlement.
