OtunbaBlack:Very good. The phones are still relevant...obviously. It’s Apple, they make only solid phones. That notched display with little or no bezels & the dual camera setup were copied from Android. Obviously a lot more people followed that path after the iPhone took it up. Apple’s Face ID is top notch, but you shouldn’t even be comparing it to Android’s Face unlock. Android manufacturers barely claim to use any special technology for their face unlock...most don’t even advertise it. There’s a reason companies like Samsung evolved to the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. If it’s security you’re worried about, that one covers well enough for it, To your last question, Apple’s longevity for smartphone updates remains unbeaten. You’re just mentioning good qualities of the iPhone. I mentioned how Apple has ensured that their iPhone’s still don’t have technology that is at least 5 years old now and you didn’t say anything about it. You can love your iPhone and still admit that Apple is holding back on its customers. If they try this holding back with their iPads, Samsung will just finish them. 7 Likes |

ForestHill:The iPhone 7 is still a very solid phone, and you can get one with 70k. I only used the X/XR example because notched iPhones are seen as the holy grail of smartphone technology by the average Nigerian. The average Nigerian may not be able to afford it, but it’s not the most expensive thing in the world either. Having one equates to being rich in some people’s eyes. OtunbaBlack:No one is talking of SD card here...even Android guys barely use SD cards these days. And no one is telling you to change either. You can love your iPhone and still agree that Apple doesn’t always make the best decisions for its users. They make the best decisions for their pockets. My iPad Pro from 2017 has a 120Hz display, same as a lot of Android flagships these days. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro of 2020/2021 doesn’t have it. That’s because they know they have to innovate & update in order to survive against Samsung in the Tablet market. But for iPhones, all they have to do is release a new colour and people will still buy en masse. 7 Likes |

meobizy:Lol. WhatsApp is only relevant because it was released first, and it continues to copy features of other platforms to stay relevant. Like another case of the “digital slavery” the man is talking about. Telegram is superior by far. WhatsApp will have to copy Telegram in its entirety to remain relevant in the future. Features will eventually defeat familiarity. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Hintona:They only get what Apple says they can get. Advanced technology is usually hoarded by Apple for several years after it becomes mainstream on other platforms, just so that Apple can have some little thing to add to their next iPhone. As the cofounder said, developing for Apple feels like he’s living in the Middle Ages. 12 Likes |
Celebrities / Re: “We Contributed To Your Growth’ – Nigerians Slam Burna Boy by DrayZee: 9:52am On May 19, 2021 |
CSTRR:His musical influence he owes to Nigeria, whether he acknowledges that or not. His bodies of work are all by his own effort. The fact that he has a wider range of musical ability than most other artists from here is strictly his own talent. Nigerians in diaspora market Nigerian music quite a lot. Yet, the song Ye mainly blew up when a bunch of white people started praising the song after they found it while looking for Kanye West’s “Ye”. Then other’s who had listened to the whole album started talking of which songs were their favorite. Then Burna’s Nigerian fans also joined in...before we knew it, everyone here was famzing the boy. Before all this happened, I personally remember being pained with how Nigerians were ignoring the Outside album. That’s why nobody can tell me anything on this Burnaboy issue...he was very much ignored here. I remember it clearly. Burna owes his initial musical influence to this country. You are right about that. But currently, his music isn’t strictly for Nigerians. His range is too wide for him to claim he’s just a Nigerian artist (take “Real Life” for example). |

candygist:Nigerians just want him to lick their feet. They’ve been shouting “Pride goes before a fall” since the 2013 headies . Man has gone from glory to glory since then, even winning a Grammy. If Nigerians had the key to this guys’ destiny, they would make sure he becomes nothing in life. But God pass them. 2 Likes |

ubox:If that was true, then we can also assume that it’s the Nigerians in Kenya that stream his music so much that it surpasses those of Nigerians living in Nigeria. That is unrealistic. It was even because of International recognition that Burnaboy blew up here in the first place. Most Nigerians didn’t care about his music before then. |
Celebrities / Re: “We Contributed To Your Growth’ – Nigerians Slam Burna Boy by DrayZee: 9:03am On May 19, 2021 |
CSTRR:Lol...check the analytics of Burna boys music. The USA gives him about 5 times the revenue that Nigeria does. France is second on the list...people that don’t even understand what Burnaboy is saying. Kenya gives him more revenue than Nigeria. Most Nigerians don’t stream/pay for music from official sites. We either download for free or stream from sites like Naijaloaded. How is the artist going to make money? If you cut the whole Nigerian revenue from Burnaboy, it’ll take away btw 5-10% of his listens. He’s not lying...you can ask any artist around you with some level of influence...they mostly make more from outside than from Nigeria...except if they decide to hold concerts. It’s not really our fault...a stream from this country is worth much less than a stream from France/ the USA. |

In the picture on the thread, you saw him wearing shorts but still went ahead to give this baseless statement. Well, this is him in shorts, and at his place of work. This is how you people make jest of men when they’re abused. 3 Likes

BeautyO:So everyone should start marrying prostitutes? Offset cheated on Cardi...because he doesn't value her (and for very obvious reasons). If she wasn't rich, he wouldn't be anywhere near her. Trump is a sexual predator, you using him as a good example shows you barely know him. These are you two best examples of people we should follow? Lol. I wonder why women defend prostitution so much. |

pquaver:See if you don’t know what to say, then don’t comment. Same Bayern match you’re talking about, they also scored an offside goal...Don’t bring Bayern here. What is wrong is wrong...ball crossed line and 2 refs claim not to have seen it, but because he has scored some offside goals in his career, he should start shining teeth? I don’t see why you’re bringing his International Top Scorer status here...if you remove all the offside goals, he’ll still be top scorer. Last last na Ronaldo Bleep up...next time he’ll learn to tear the teams apart properly instead of doing his best at the last minute. 4 Likes |

Quaddafi29:Lol...so your own problem is his own reaction to being cheated...the fact that he was cheated doesn’t concern you. Una dey always see wetin to talk. A man and his country are being cheated in his very front...for a match winning, table-topping goal, but your own problem is that he didn’t shine his teeth and pretend that everything is alright. 4 Likes |

GodIsBiafran:Dishonest and Fake? But I’ve agreed with you na, Burna cannot sing. Tekno and 9ice will beat him in versus battle What do you want again? Ye is his biggest song (On The Low in the mud). If I say you don’t know what you’re talking about now, you’ll start lamenting again. His level lies in the fact that he has a Grammy. Drink water and rest abeg. No need to conversate further.

GodIsBiafran:Chai ...don’t worry. Progenitor of Music in Africa, I hail. Tekno is better. All the people that listen to Burna both here and outside don’t know good music. Everything he sings is either trash or crap, except the one that sounds like Fela or UK music. Anybody who says he likes Burna Boy’s music is either lying or fooling himself. Only you know good music and good music is Flavour, Kiss Daniel and Tekno.
