Point of correction ; GTBank is equivalent of $100/day for ATM withdrawals and $1000 for POS/Online but please note that cummulative limit accross all channels per month is $1000 meaning if you decide to do $1000 PIS /online first day of the month, you card is technically useless till the next month.

I have visited couple of times for outreach and I bet you, the environment isnt interesting. There are great guys in confinement awaiting trial for charges they are innocent of. lets trybour best to avoid being in the middle of cases that maybtake us there. Dont be a co-conspirator ssbe it passive or active in fraud cases anywhere, do not be a spectator in crime scenes , watch your utterances , display knowledge of situations with caution. Be guided !!

you will be in the midst of people who are not at par with you standard for days, months and even years,

Even presently there is no bank with 25b capitalisation in Nigeria. They have all been recapitalised many times.

No Nigerian bank has less than 80b capital base.

there are 3 grades of capitalization currently;

regional bank ; 10bill e.g heritage
national bank : 25bill e.g wema which was formerly regional,
international bank : 50 bill e.gtb, zenith , fbn et al

who can orientate on FO, the bridge is falling. i played this game dis tym last year and i sold off at 300plus. the mountain seems do be falling at a faster rate. i dont want to fall into oando bus i fell last year @18naira. i count my losses everyday but leverage it with orofit from sales of others. why would yoy honour a supplementary admission @ PG level. @ this stage, you should know what you want and not one school marketing another displine of lower demand to you. Festina lente!

Keep trying even other schools.till.you get admitted to yoyr preferred discipline. This not undergrad where people forget Medicine fir Botany or Engineering for Mathematics/Physics in the name of supplementary list!

I might be wrong but I have collected at least two certificates from UNILAG and I collected them 6 months post convocation.
It's a norm and also an announcement during convocation that certificates are ready but if you have evidences of people collecting certificate a month after convocation please present it. The only thing you will get after completing your clearance is statement of result.
If there is a typographical error in your name you will need to wait for at least 6 months to get a new certificate.

Bros. what are you saying? well your faculty might play a key roll. Faculty of Education i cant vouch for but bros! I have 10s of people who collected their certificate that convocation week. But please be informed that different days for different faculty. I know faculty of Science graduates are attended to only on Tuesday.

6mnths may only apply in the invent where descrepancies prevails.

Moving on please !!!!!

Wrong! unilag Undergraduate certificate is usually available from the day of convocation.. please get your facts right. this could be misleading.

Hello house, I got admitted for MSc Communication Engineering FT. I don't reside in Lagos and I don't really have anyone I would like to stay with over there.
I am also currently nursing a dislocated shoulder which would make it difficult to commute around Lagos, even if I had wanted to travel down.
All my narratives is just because I want to know if it is safe and advisable to pay the fees online so that I can continue with my registration. That way, I will only travel over for the screening thereby cutting cost on lodging.
So, again, the question is, is it safe AND advisable to make my payments online?

Do everything @ home and liaise with any course mate to intimate u with the courses registrable this semester. Then you ll have only screening come around for. You ll also get cheap hotel around unilag. e.g opp mfm hq 2nd gate and you can manage unilag guest house

They run virtual account opening. Its up to them to do proper kyc. ARM isnt a bank. Just open the investment account and you be guided on how to make payment. They have different payment channels : Transfer to designated account, cheque deposit, quick teller and I know of GTPay.

Except otherwise stated, All interest rates are valued per annum. You can get your monthly intake by porating - (int/100) * ( 30days/365days) * Principal.

This may not be applicable for funds whose rate/yield changes on a daily basis.

I notice Investment one is confused as regards rate too use this year because technically it should be 4% considering the assymetrical thingy! ARM is the highest for now as the lowest yield since the revised MPR is 10.38% or thereabout. Now I can risk my VGIF for this month , if it runs @ 4% , I will redeem ALL my fund and interest but to where? STANBic ( plumetting) of FBN ( vague and obscure) or Add to my ARM ( last resort cos I like divesting and monitoring/ comparing trends ).

What decision am i to take? Funding the program would be difficult without a job. And the job pays between 80k to 90k per month. If u have been in my shoes before pls tell me what best to do, as i dream of pursuing an academic career. God bless us all!

Bros, same thing happened to me sometimes back. Most employers only care about your PG on the long run. Infact most value related professional programs. Bros, if the only constraint is time, meet wit guys and understand lecture time table, if you cant fit in now, pay the obligatory fees and defer or quit this year for MEM ( runs evening programs ). Afterall you should have 10 days of exam leave and 20 working days of vacation. You can utilize these days during exam period.

These guys rushing to pay school fees, kindly calm your nerves. To those throwing diatribes before the list came out, am so sure they arent graduates of the university of first choice ; well, we will polish you and teach you how to stay calm.
To those expecting complete list, I wish you guys the best.
For those who did not make it, you may enrol in professional program relating to your preferred discipline in order not to be idle pending the next admission in 2016/2017. Anyways , just find some thing doing.

I have been admitted twice into UNILAG pg school for competitive program and the only time I visited campus was to submit completed forms and write exam so attributing not being selected to 'runs' depicts a state of mind that is controlled by his / her circle of concern.

UNILAG is no Havard nor Oxford; OAU and other Local champions runs flexible programs also.

I have been watching on 3D an I realize most of us really.dont know what they want. We just want to have that MSC. Some of us select courses based on cost, ease of entry, vibes that comes with the name etc ...

Please , mistakes are allowed in BSC but there is no such thing as wrong course selection excuse due to naivity for a post graduate.

lemme go back to my hiatus though..........
