I forget to send them to her until the woman come like 2months ago come dey halla say I for no carry am if I know say I no go send am. All in all, nobody bother me about am but I know say people dey talk say dem go cease noodles, snail, akamu etc for poe if they notice particularly if you follow united airlines because those wey dey Houston worry well.

You are welcome. But please make sure to send your transcripts alongside your certificate as early as possible in order to beat all odds. Schools might have varying policies.

Guys abeg o..What food stuff do I need to hold along before I leave? Which ones are contrabound? What are the things one should get here as opposed to their relative costs in the US? And lastly, what are the things I can carry in my hand luggage? Can my laptop be carried in my hand luggage(currently an arguable subject)? Pls advise me o.Thanks.

imperiouxx: That's good of you. They have started evaluating my friend's transcript despite he's going for the same spring 2013. The real evaluation after verification of your transcript and certificate copy takes 7 days only. Verification involves sending back any document you gave them by regular post to the institution(s) you claimed you obtained them from. Put in mind the number of days posting document from Nigeria to US and from US to Nigeria takes.... At the long run, it gonna take 1 good month plus to get your transcript evaluated by WES if posting is so fast and your Nigeria school treats incoming documents fast. Note the WES don't evaluate Uniport transcript.

Brov..wusup? Trust ur doing great today. Let me chip this in.My WES evaluation took less than One and a half weeks. I dont think they verify by post anymore cos the verification of my transcripts was done within two days (I think they scan it to the particular school and the school replies by email).So from when my transcripts got to WES till the release of my evaluations.....took less than two weeks.

Brov..Report at the school first, spend a semester there (get good grades) and then transfer to your choice school in Maryland or California. Your student advisor will help you with that.

folar: Thank you guys for this forum.I am an F1 visa applicant scheduled for interview next week but yet to get my official GRE report.ETS sends report by only regular mail and the previous one sent was misplaced in transit by NIPOST.Can i present an online print out of my result instead? I wrote IELTS and not TOEFL because either is acceptable by my sch and ease of getting IELTS results through courier service.How does that affect my chances?

If the hard copy hasn't arrived your place yet, print out the online copy and if the VO asks you why(which I doubt), tell him about the issue of the first misplacement and the re-order.You should be fine afterwards.

As for the IELTS, as long as it is the Academic module that you wrote and not the General module, you are good to go. At least the school that admitted you accepted it...so the VO doesn't have a say against it.

Don't mind the man joor! But try to brace up against questions like that next time...cos they can be PITFALLS during visa interviews. Just have it in mind that the USA is at the fore-front of technological advancement and so you will like to get more scientifically validated and environment-friendly knowledge alongside quality research skills in your intended field of study,in order improve your coys production and work...and possibly your country's. By God's mercy and grace, I believe you will be cleared for the visa soon enough.

Na all of una be olodo! Giving a general overview of location is quite different from giving a specific description. Saying Osun is around Lagos is still acceptable as long as they are both South West states. Florida and Texas are both in the south and can in no way be compared with Texas and the Eastern part of the U.S.A.e.g Virginia. I was just giving a map location description and not specific travel distance descriptions..my fellow olodo housemates I agree with una sha but I wasnt too specific enough and that was where you all wanted to eat me up before my time. Do not be afraid brov. You will get yours too irrespective of the VO interviewing you. Just be composed, know what you are going for, get your docs complete and pray to God for his favour. Trust me...the visa is all yours.
