I regret buying this trash. It changes modes by itself. Also pauses or plays itself when in use.
Romance / Re: Why Do People Hate Rich Kids by Dreamflyin(m): 9:41am On Dec 19, 2022
Funny but true. The thing is that people beef the privilege. They expect you to be humble and not talk much cos you didn't experience the tough part of life. Even people you call your closest friends

The most funny part of it is that brash and arrogant people who came from scratch are more accepted than rich kids.

We were not wealthy oo, but happen to live in a working class part of town. When i started making friends in my area, one or two people didn't know when they said they hated me back then cos my popsie drives me to school. The other one said he beefed cos he sees me drive.

Nwanne, you can't please everyone if you're privileged, especially when you're surrounded by less economically positioned individuals.

Just live your life.
Be real.
Be good.
Be honest.
..and treat everyone as your equal.

...but do you know what will come after when you do all that? They will take fun in now making you a play thing especially when you don't get them hooked to you for freebies.

Just live your life and have plenty fun.

Also, have friends in the same economic ladder as you.
Worst case scenario is if you somehow lose your privilege or wealth, get ready for a very hard life, but don't lose hope. Go harder and remain focused.

That's where alot of rich kids lose it. They get lost in substance abuse and depression.

You never know what you're made of, till you overcome adversity.

Just have it at the back of your mind that you wouldn't give them an opportunity to laugh nor gloat over you.

Business / Re: Help, I'm Being Frustrated By The Rules Of My Mum's Business by Dreamflyin(m): 7:22pm On May 28, 2020
Blessamaka:
My post might be lengthy but I'll try my best to be brief but please read to the end.

I'm in my early twenties (20's) and currently a student in one of the prestigious university in Nigeria.

Before I got admission, I usually help my mum to sell onions in Ajegunle market aka boundary market in Lagos State.

Ever since schools were shut down due to the pandemic I've been scared of helping my mum because of the despicable rules or laws guiding the business which i might not be able to keep to it thereby putting my mum in trouble and that's the only means of survival for me and mum for now.

My mum belongs to a group of people that sells same product and they are usually referred to as Union and the leaders are the one dishing out those annoying laws.

Examples of such laws are:

1. You don't buy more than the quantity of goods apportioned to you else you will be fined and suspended from selling but the so called leaders go contrary to these laws

2. They tell you when to buy goods i.e before buying new goods, you sell your old goods for 7days not minding if the quantity apportioned to you is enough or not. My self as a case study, we were apportioned 3 bags of onions and I sell 3 bags in 3 days so me and my mum would stay at home for 4days before going to buy new goods.

3. They tell you when to start selling which is 10:00am everyday excluding Sunday and this law was before the pandemic

4. They tell you how to sell i.e the size of onions you are to sell for a particular amount as if they borrowed you money or they are the one giving you money always to buy goods.

And many more of these unimaginable laws. Right now I confused! I don't know the best way to go about this and I really do wish to start selling because I'm broke and I've so many responsibilities to care for financially.

I need legal help, advice on how to go about this until I get something else to do or probably a work or a different business.

The reason for going into business is to make profit and save for rainy days but the reverse seems to be the case here.

Please help me move to front page to get more reviews in regard to this

This nonsense will only be possible in SouthWest markets. God! Are we in a socialist economy? What nonsense. No growth, no expansion, nothing. This is not business. It's isusu.

Business / Re: Meet Kamoru Yusuf And Wife, Bolanle: Kam Industries Owners, Steel Mill by Dreamflyin(m): 8:24pm On Sep 06, 2019
immortalityk:

There is one big steel mill in Lagos Ibadan expressway
There is also sagamu steel mill in Ogun
This one is in Kwara
Kam also has another in Lagos
There are international companies with steel mills in Lagos
U guys compete with each other
In south west,u have to compete with international companies
I personally know many Yoruba owned industries that are dead

One thing about the East is that the competition is very stiff here. Multinationals only supply the East when they scale up. For every successful venture, we will have 10 of it in the next half a decade. We don't do corporate industries. That's just our major disadvantage. The reason why many of our post civil companies never took off. Many remained family businesses that couldn't cooperate loans like their south western counterparts.

What southwest have are multinationals. South east has multiple smaller industries owned by families.
Access to funds is hard and competition is stiff.
Most are just surviving. But the fact still remains, that from Aba, to Onitsha, to Nnewi, south west is still learning save the Lebanese, Chinese and Indians. None of those can survive in the East. We have few of them.

And honestly, it's working against us.
Business / Re: Meet Kamoru Yusuf And Wife, Bolanle: Kam Industries Owners, Steel Mill by Dreamflyin(m): 7:56pm On Sep 05, 2019
Lol... I see how my southwestern friends are celebrating Kam.
Lol... You guys should just visit Atani industrial zone in Onitsha and see co.panies doing what Kam is doing in their large number.
Kam just have space and zero competition in the southwest. Onitsha started nail making with locally constructed machines as far back as 1975.
Many roofing giants in Igboland started off making nails.
They didn't grow as big as Kam cos here competition is stiff. We have like 10 Kams. We are producing effici9and trying to cut cost so as to stay afloat, but KAM with zero competition was expanding and producing to econom6of scale.

Why wouldn't he be big?

Oga Gazzuz, please my Honda Pilot 2008 makes a clunking/knocking noise when I brake at low speed. The noise sounds like the underneath linkages just want to come apart. Noise is from the front. Thanks for helping with that front disc issue.

What's the likely problem?
I have taken it to a pit, and u underneath bushings were checked and all seemed right, including alignment and all.

What has been your experience in using Honda pilot would u recommend 2006 EX FWD for me to buy n why. Thanks

Looking for an SUV that will not put hole in my pocket ie economy, reliability n ruggedness

Leave FWD because of the VCM(they develop issues). Better you buy 4x4.
Mine is so far so good. A strong ride. Just be prepared to spend more on fuel, but man, it's a beast on the road.

Hello Gazzuz
Please my VTM-4, VSA and ABS Lights showed yesterday. I restarted the car and it cleared. After during for 4hrs+ to my destination, I parked. Later when coming to drive off, it showed steady again, till I switched off and restarted car, and it went off.

Car is HONDA PILOT 2008.
No issues with driving and braking. Just the light, which happened twice yesterday.
This morning, all was good and fine.

Please I need solution, it’s a Lexus IS250

Based on experience, jejely take it to an ac technician. Compressor makes a little noise when it engages. If it does not engage, there's this thing they call a clutch in the compressor.
A good ac tech can fix it. And also to not wreck the compressor more, don't on the ac again till when fixed.

Oga Gazzuz, please does 2008 Honda Pilot 4x4 also have that ball joint issue?

Mine also vibrates when braking on speed. I read it's an issue with most pilots. Any permanent fix to that ?
I read that it still comes back after changing/fixing or machining the rotors. That it's a rotor problem.
