Based in Onitsha. Anyone in Anambra/Onitsha? Let's team up and get a Hotel package please. WhatsApp - 08067875684 |
Daslimo:Same here. Urgently needed. Let's team up and get a hotel package. |
Anyone in Onitsha selling his hotel package? DsTv? |
Anyone in Onitsha, Obosi-Nkpor side willing to share his package? |
Hello Mister, going by your billions, that means that there are not less than 500k apartment block of 8 fkat each in Obosi. Dude, do you know what's 500,000 apartment block? That's 4million flats! Redo your maths bro. |
From what I know, all our neighbors that left to Asaba, didn't relocate with their businesses. They still comes to work/market here in Onitsha. |
I'll be addressing two issues here. - Why lots of people are relocating to Asaba and, - The ridiculous amount of money investnow is throwing around. My dad bought a few plots back in the days in Asaba, before govt policies took them all back. Overspilling of relocations to Asaba, less the business is just that Onitsha man instinct to invest in low prices real estate. That was how Nkpor, Obosi, Akpaka GRA, and so many suburbans were all developed. Here, the best money value holder is real estate. Any Onitsha bizman biggest dream is to someday buy a cheap land and develop for rainy days. Onitsha businesses are not relocating to Asaba, rather Onitsha bizman are buying up cheap land in Asaba to live in, because Asaba is close to Onitsha and motorable. ...... Now to the issue of sanitation, I pays around N500-N600 per flat per month for sanitation. On APLUC, I paid N45k to state govt, while on Income tax, I paid N38k. This was all on a 3storey, two flats a floor apartment block. How much do I make from it annually? Less than N600k. Mind you that we laid these amounts after much negotiation between Isiowulu landlords association and APLUC. They initially billed N100k plus. On the one we got in Onitsha, we paid N222k!!!!. Dude, tell your governor, that any amount which landlords pay, will be transfered to tenants. There's a liquidity crunch in Onitsha. Don't let those uprises deceive you. We works real hard and saves real hard to make something. If Obiano increases the tax burden on people, he'll have himself to blame. |
I could see people with nothing to their names talking about taxes. And the dude speaking about the thousands paid at Obosi, I'm forced to ask, are you really in this city? I saw sometime ago where you spoke about paying thousands quarterly on sanitation, and I was like 'wow!'. Ask Peter Obi how many landlords paid his APLUC. How much is paid on rent in these areas? We got Three apartment blocks in this areas and none of them pays more than N10k per month on 3bedroom apartment. That's N80k per month for a double flat a floor apartment block. Here we builds not to really make money, but to hold the value of your money and for the rainy days. Liquidity is tight in Onitsha. Here's not Lagos. Before you advice your governor to increase tax, he should improve the standard of living here. Where did you fall off from? |
If you are in Onitsha, they does it for N25- N40k. Depends on your bargaining skills. |
Do you import WPC floor boards? |
Being confident around a potential client/partner can have their downsides. From experience in a small business town, businessmen tends to do business with less assertive people who are agreeable and malleable. Confidence gets the meet, but being emotionally intelligent gets the deal. My thought. |
I got a warehouse wasting off in Onitsha. What products do you manufacture? Can I get samples to check its marketability? Let's talk here or on cellphone, before emails. |
'......Then he should team up with his poor parents to give his siblings the privilege of a higher education that he inconvenienced the whole family to enjoy.' Education is now a favour to the oldest child from a large poor home? While they were breeding like rabbits, they hoped to pile it up on the oldest? Height of parental irresponsibility. |
Ironic. What a small world. I know Ugoo. Childhood friend and same neighborhood before the family relocated to Canada. Quite sad to see him trending for the bad reasons. Maybe the mum got to hear this. Too bad. Tainting his family name and all. Gawd. |
Going to cinemas is not really about the movie, but a social thing. Same goes for watching a football game at a viewing centre, rather than being at home. Relaxation and being amongst people - it's a good feeling. |
Back to the aesthetic pictures of IB, I could arm myself with a high resolution camera and head to GRA or Housing estate hotels and malls. mtchew... Old town seeing so little investment by the people living in her, with all the liquidity lying all about her. If Onitsha got half of what Ibadan got in industries and businesses, Lagos will be a walk in the park. |
For someone who grew up in Onitsha, it's quite funny to see how someone passes off just hotels, roundabouts and malls to represent the whole Ibadan. A picture that showed residential building for the common class was so reeking of old buildings. Buildings already sold off here and renovated by the new buyers here in Onitsha. Ibadan is a city never devastated by war. A city which had always had it peaceful since 1960. Onitsha grew from the ashes of the civil war. Totally burnt to the ground but rebuilt under two decades. There's no where in the whole federation, and I stands on that, which got more modern apartment uprisers than Onitsha. An average Onitsha bizman biggest dream is to someday have his own uprise building. Why few Yorubas here can't compete with us is because, you don't compete with the baba himself. We'll out compete you as far as it's real estate and business. We scouts even the most secret and isolated part of the world for cheap deals. We scouts even the most dangerous market to do business. For us it's plainly survival. A situation the Nigerian polity kept us in. We thrived. Comparing Ibadan to SouthEast is sheer folly. We made SouthEast with 20pounds. Never forget that. We are self made billionaires! We built our cities with no Nigerian patronage, but our sweat and grith. Could such be said for Ibadan? A city that thrived on being the administrative birth place of most part of South Western Nigeria. Proudly Igbo. |
For people to watch movies at centres, it got to reach some standard. A bit cozy. |
Movies. Please upload the pics of your centres. |
Since the projector is ready, why not test run with all the variables? Pick your best then. Seems like there's yet not much experience with projectors here. |
