I’m not your brother but I’d like to be😃. You know guys have to consider the financial implications of our decisions. We don’t typically have a spouse to lean on.

Most MHA’s are not Drs. With 4years of undergrad, 4years of medical school,3-8years of residency and 1-3 optional fellowship with hundreds of thousands in student loans, it isn’t feasible to not practice medicine and spend extra on a Masters. MHA is like MBA but for hospital management. I do not believe fields like environmental health and toxicology sell in the US. You should also consider jobs that provide sponsorships which I know for a fact are very difficult and competitive to come by for MPH. The relative I was talking about had to get into an Accelerated BSN program fast taking out thousands of loans after OPT was almost ending and no jobs.

I’d recommend you consider Bio-Sciences PhD programs or get into a Nursing Program even if you want to get into an Environment health position. You will be better qualified for such role as an RN(With a BSN) with or without an MPH than those non clinical bachelors.

Agreed. Personally, the goal is to get into the US first and figure it out later.

You might not even like the career outcome of an MPH especially if you’re not a provider (MD/DO/PA/NP). A relative told me it is better career wise and financially to pursue an MHA then an MPH. Your goals may even change completely.

Please Dreamsss do you have masters, publication and GRE? I mean did you submit all these?

You can enter the program while pursing another program of your choosing and leave when you get into your preferred program. You can also finish the Masters and apply to a PhD program of your choice with your undergraduate degree.

Since you are going for environmental health, why don't you reach across to Chibertha. I noticed she studied the course though under engineering field in Marshall University.

She might give you head-up, and even put in word of mouth to professors in her department. And I do hope your transcript grades are "tight" and you have verifiable evidence of work experience (mandatory for the course)

Kinesiology, Physiology is a dope course that comes with funding oo. Most people don't know that there are some courses that a well funded but because they are not in the top jobs in the labor market so people think they are useless.

Check the department of choice website and send mails to Chairs and graduate coordinators and also check school job site.
