I have attached an extract from the manual of the hybrid Inverter I think I'll get. It shows the Inverter's charge controller can be programmed to deliver a charging current of 10A to 60A to the batteries. The default current to the batteries is 30A regardless of what gets to the charge controller. The excess will be sent to the load.

Also, the 3.2hrs from my previous calculation only applies if I'm using just one 200Ah battery. If using 4 batteries then it should take abt 12-13 hrs to charge from empty.

Do you know much about Mono and Poly Solar panels? All the research I've done shows that Mono is better. I'm just wondering why Poly costs more in the market.

Rivers State cannot be listed among Ohaneze..... There are too many tribes and languages in the state and only Ikwerre (which is just one out of abt 20 something others) language faintly resembles Igbo.. I’m sick of ppl calling me Igbo... I love them they’re a colorful vibrant interesting ppl but I’m not Igbo I’m a Calabari from Rivers state.... pls na everyone must not be either Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba in Nigeria na

This was actually my concern with having a high number of solar panels. I also noticed lots of installers recommend four 300/330W solar panels for 5KVA inverters (four 200Ah batteries).

But shouldn't the charge controllers regulate the amount of voltage/current assigned to charging the batteries? If not, current from PHCN should charge batteries from empty to full in less than an hour. I feel there should be a max charge rate from the charge controllers and what's left over should be sent to the Load (at least for hybrid Inverters)

it amazes me the kinda people we av here in nairaland. I mean their thinking faculty is so poor and backward it baffles me... few times I av posted stuffs and seek for their advice's, but wot I get from u guys are mean, abusive, thoughtless, insensitive... like wtf, it make matters worst. do u guys know there's sth like depression?? u guys comments fuels it, insensitive most of de times.
the last straw that broke the camel's back was de last story I posted, few hours ago... almost non of the people that commented understood my story, ion know if dey read upside down even as I modified some parts several times and I tried to correct some people, yet you were so in a hurry to hurl abusive words @ me, u were so biased even when its obvious that its de guy I went out with that lacks good conduct, the guy that bulged me by calling me from time to time, asking me wen we'll see, nothing more...maybe coz am a girl in this part of the world... with my experience so far, I think this will be the last time am gona be posting anything here... and I'll advice that you don't av to use abusive words to make a point, you can still sound mature and yet make sense, moreover try to read and understand, and yes, respect the ladies and be equal in judgement...

Remember that all positive/negative head of Mc4 connector has same shape, so it will be impossible to fit 11 panels positive/negative connectors together, when it being connected in parallel way... check the diagram below.
