It has not been easy, but God has been fateful. I was diagnosed of the virus August 2019 and I started taking the drugs which is given to us for free at the clinic.
The drug is to be taken daily at same time , though sometimes I use to take it (30 or 1hr ) before or after my set time due to circumstances, and I've never miss a dose for once.

The first viral load (test to check the level of the virus in the blood) I did , after 2 months of taking the drugs was 120, after six month I did another it was 300 , I was scared thinking may be the drug has stop working for me and that means I need to be place on second line of treatment which is complicated. Though I did the second test during lockdown and things were tough and I was not feeding well, I had to open up to some of my friends they were supportive and one of my friend also gave me a traditional medicine which I was also taking with my drugs that it will help me faster to aid my immune.

Right now I'm undetectable , I did the test again two weeks ago and result was great, as my viral load is below 20 this does not mean I'm free from the virus , just that the chance of me infecting others is very low or zero, and I'm just like any negative person just that I need to continue taking my drugs.

I've never been discriminated by friends or family members, and those around me has been helpful.

Please HIV is not a death sentence, show love to those you know, encourage them to take their drugs, and see them live a normal life. Living positive is my Goal.


Please if you have a job ,please help me. I am good with computer, worked in a medical lab, taught in schools, sales Rep, customer care(online and offline), manage a bar. Thank you.

sorry about your ordeal. Since you met her in her aunts crib why not go check on her there. The thing is most people here end up making conclusions they are + due to symptoms.

I went back the anty said she only came to spend some time with her that she has gone back. I no get mouth to tell her watin happened .

Oga the fact you are not using 2go does not mean that its not been used by others, go to play store download it and see for your self. Check the various room you will see people there. Try to confirm anything you hear before jumping into conclusion and spewing trash.

Well your story is absurd. 10nodes in the groin. You sure don’t know what nodes are. Keep taking your pills if you say you are already on them.

I had multiple enlarged lymph node and I am sure when I said they are up to 10 on both side.

thanks for educating me. so you just went there and they decided to use this on you instead of the normal anti body test and how long did it take before you got the results

I knew about the test in school, I did a course on it. I asked the hospital (National Hospital Abuja) if they run the test they said yes its free. I got the result after 3 days. This is the final confirmatory test for HIV.

the normal finger prick own will detect it if the virus is has multiplied enough in your blood before the antibodies can react with the antigen on the strip, but this method can detect it as early as 48 hours after exposure hence reducing the risk of having it for long before detecting.

After 8weeks exposure using HIV serology , not that strip /unigold.

Don’t expect him to answer you. 2go that went into extinction already he said he met the girl there . He claims he just started treated a mont plus ago. Meaning if he met her on 2go it must have been long ago he found out he’s positive 4 years maybe . Yet another troll. Trying to solicite for help and funds.

bros check play store you will see 2go there, and people are still using it . I stopped using 2go long time ago . it was because of my sex urge I downloaded it again and tried it out. If I want to solicit for fund I think there are better way than wishing my self HIV positive just to seek fund.

I have done the test at week 8 negative and this is week 9 past so I wanna retest. I hardly sleep since my exposure. Instead of washing my hand after removing CD I used It to rub my dick and wash with water

Washing your your dick with your hand after sex will not give you HIV, except you have had unprotected sex or other exposure. Your symptoms could be due to mononucleosis called kissing disease. If it is mono it will go on it's own you just only need to take antibiotic for the sore throat. If you still have this symptoms I will advice you to go to a National hospital they will do HIV serology test for you its free. Waiting after 6month to do the test again when you have those symptoms is not a good idea. With my medical knowledge that why I handled mine with seriousness.

Which test did you run that detected the virus, is it blood drain from the vein, or normal pinching of the finger. I am not getting myself as I am typing you 5this

blood from anywhere can detect it, go to another hospital and do the test, that symptoms can be for another viral infection not really HIV, so be calm as HIV is even not a risk because I am there man , go for other test like hepatitis, A,B and C .

hmm, I experience all these symptoms the result became positive after 2month , but I was not feeling my energy after the first month, those with higher immunity and CD4 cell count will not feel any symptoms even after 6month of exposure .. I have poor immunity that was why I felt it early. I will advice you to do Elisa test for HIV that one will detect it even as early as 48hrs of exposure but the normal test will take like 3-6 month before detecting it.

But it can be other infection since your node disappear after sometime mine never, my started reducing after I started the drug. But go to general hospital and do HIV serology if you are negative then you are negative.
